  1. But, I'm sure they'll write endless more episodes of Kristen, Leo, etc...
  2. WTH???? The actor was the best addition to the show in YEARS. He had chemistry with everyone, handsome, fit in so well with the Hortons. I don't understand why this show cannot write for the Hortons. Since the new writing regime, there are some good "scenes" but not good "stories" if that makes sense. I had renewed Peacock because I wanted to see the anniversary and Xmas episodes, but I think I'm canceling again.
  3. I thought she was fascinating as Patty the first time, and the show made the mistake of taking her too far and writing the character into a corner. I had wished they had stopped short of that and found a way to keep her. That being said, I don't trust this show to do anything right these days.
  4. Yay for BTG! I hope it continues! Glad GH is still doing well, too.
  5. I just don't understand why Noah can't have a love interest close to his own age. This show seems to do everything to avoid the "young" in the "Young and the Restless."
  6. OMG....I thought the same thing. He looked soooo good in those long johns, and I agree, I like the thicker version. :)
  7. Exactly! This would be great!
  8. I've been saying this for a while now. It's the one thing about the show that has sort of bugged me. We've had zero star-crossed lovers that are trying to get together but are kept apart for various reasons...a soap staple.
  9. Compared to the other soaps, GH has been ON FIRE lately! I'm glad to see their numbers improving.
  10. That's awesome news!
  11. I watched every episode of BTG for the first seven months or so. But, now I go days without watching, and sometimes I'll only watch for a few minutes. I soooo badly want this show to succeed, but to be honest, it's just felt so boring for so long now. It feels like nothing is happening and there is no story movement. There are definitely no twists and turns, so there's no urgency to watch. I thought something would finally happen once we found out Hayley's plan, but all she's done for weeks is make tea for Bill. YAWN. While I think the Anita cancer story is an important one, it's practically been the whole show for weeks now. There's not enough stuff to balance it out. We all know Anita's going to come through this, and Dani is certainly not going to get cancer and die. I need more surprises, more cliffhangers, and not endless conversations about the same things. One thing I think has been missing from the show from the start has been there is no "starstruck couple" who are being kept apart and that we can root for. What's the closest? Andre and Dani? They're already married. CBS can't be happy that the demos are now what The Talk was doing. I just hope that they make the show compelling again before CBS loses interest. That would be so sad and horrible for the future of the genre.
  12. I think the frustrating part for me right now is that the show can have some nice scenes, for example, I enjoyed the Marlena/Sarah stuff on Tuesday, but there doesn't seem to be much in actual story and certainly nothing that feels like it has any energy to it.
  13. So, I wasn't the only one who noticed.
  14. Okay, so what interesting promo. I REALLLLLLY hope Jeremy is not the crazy fan. The actor works so well with everyone he's in scenes with. But, WTH could it be if not Jeremy?
  15. Will and Electra take boring to another level, and no, the Psycho of the Week story doesn't make them any more interesting.
  16. NLG has been on fire IMO these past few episodes. She has an Emmy reel IMO. I would really love for Liz to have a story again...and where the hell have her kids been?
  17. Raven Bower's is a REALLY good actress. I'm sorry to see her go. I hope another opportunity comes her way soon.
  18. So, how many women has Carter proposed to now? It's all so ridiculous that this gorgeous man has spent YEARS being dumped on and struggling to find a woman who's interested in him.
  19. Wow...all four of these are shockers. I can think of a few other characters that make more sense to let go...or use a lot less of (cough, cough Leo)
  20. REALLLLLY loving the show right now. I'm so hoping that Willow gets completely off (and can't be tried again due to double jeopardy) and then see what she does next. It will be so much fun for Drew to see that he got played.
  21. I think the actress that plays Ashley is actually pretty good, but the writing just hasn't been there for the character and everything with Derek didn't work. Hopefully, they'll be able to figure out a way to use her effectively. I wish we could have found out that she was Joey Armstrong's daughter, and her mom has been keeping it a secret. It would be a way to bring her into the broader story. I'm SOOOOO ready for Hayley to actually put the next stage of her plan in action. I, too, felt like things have been in a rut for a bit. I'm hoping these are good signs of what's to come.
  22. I reallllly hope Willow gets a not guilty verdict so she'll be free to cause more drama and chaos. This version of Willow is FAR more interesting that weepy young heroine.
  23. Loved the twist that Willow was actually the shooter! Of all the soaps, GH has been the one most keeping my attention as of late.
  24. I've been rewatching the show on Plex. I didn't start really watching until Season 11 back when I was a teenager, so all the earlier seasons were basically brand new for me. I hated how Laura was basically given nothing to do her last few seasons until it was time for her to die. CM was such a phenomenal actress! I really had a huge appreciation for her watching those early seasons now as an adult. I'm now in the early episodes of season 13....God, help me! You can see it going off the rails. I think the show held up pretty decently up until the end of Season 12. I don't think I watched much of Season 14 when it originally aired. So, that will be mostly new to me, too. I know a lot has to do with Mary Robinson. At least they tried to make Laura part of the narrative sort-of at the end.
