I really hope another soap snaps him up.

I also wonder how the 4 that are still on broadcast are doing in the streaming world and how many viewers that adds. I know GH is consistently in the top 15 shows on Hulu and often in the top 5. That's how I watch it every day.

I was soooo sad to see Marco die, but I'd been suspecting that this was coming. From a story viewpoint, his death makes sense in some ways by the story it will generate. Still...a bummer to see him go. Overall, these have been some great episodes. NLG continues to knock whatever they give her out of the ballpark.

I have to say, compared to the other four soaps, GH has been on fire for months IMO. I actually look forward to watching it every day. I can see why it's often in the top ten on Hulu.

I've had a lot of similar feelings, and I so, so want to love this show! I wonder what the thought process is to having such little drama and such few twists and turns on this show is about. Sometimes it feels as if BTG goes out of its way to avoid dramatic storytelling just as Y&R seems to be going out of its way of having any leads under the age of 50. I, too, watch GH every day now. It's not perfect, but the stories all feel like they move and stuff is happening.

After watching the show daily the first six months, I'm only drifting in and out now. I like a lot of the characters and actors, and some of the individual scenes. But, the show as a whole, just feels low energy to me as if nothing of any real importance or urgency has happened in so long. Honestly, some days I'll start an episode, but I don't even finish it. I keep waiting for something, anything to really happen. I so want this show to succeed, and it clearly has its fans, but I feel like I can skip weeks at a time and nothing has really happened. Anita's cancer has been well-written, but it can't be the whole show. Nothing seems to really happen in the Leslie/Eva story anymore and Kat treating Eva like dirt has just gotten old. I don't really care who Nicole dates. I got excited when we first heard of Hayley's true plans and intentions, but nothing besides tea drinking has happened in so long. Whatever is happening at the hospital I don't really care. It's hard to like Joey and Vanessa as characters as neither is sympathetic. There's no against the odds couple I'm rooting for. I felt that for Dani and Andre early on, but now they're married. Is it just me that feels this way? I keep turning back in to see if it can catch my attention, but it just doesn't. And, I SOOOO want to!

For a show called The Young and the Restless, there has long been a distinct lack of "young." I think soaps work the best where there are characters of every generation in stories, but on this show, if I had to guess, I bet 60% of the cast is over 50. They couldn't even give Noah a love interest his age, but instead cast someone who played HIS MOM on another show. Make it make sense.

I really wish they would give Elizabeth something meaty to play that just being everyone's talk-to. I'm not really feeling it with her and Ric. To me, she's part of the heart of the show and deserves more.

I just cancelled Peacock and stopped watching DAYS a few weeks ago after many years. The show just became so boring, so many Dimeras, and I couldn't do one more "back from the dead" story. I used to see DAYS in the top 10 list on Peacock before, but that's been a long time ago.

Is the rumor true that ABC expressed interest in taking over the show after NBC cancelled it? I wonder if that had come true, where on their schedule would they have put it...mornings? I felt like by the end the show had gone a bit off the rails, but I was so sad to see it go off the air.

ITA. I skipped about two weeks, turned on the show, and saw that nothing had really happened.

I hope so, too! These increases are encouraging! I still think the show hasn't had it's big break out story yet, and for my taste, still moves a little slow. But, hopefully, this will be the year for it!

This story would work so much better if Jeremy WAS STAYING in Salem and became involved with Joy. Would have been an interesting four-some and conflict.

Great news for all the soaps! I'm glad GH has been doing so well. It's the most entertaining of the 5 to me right now, and the only one I watch daily.

It's interesting that the new way Nielsen is calculated, BTG seems to be up in total viewers but down in the demos.

Such a waste of a talented actor who easily fit right in and had great chemistry with a lot of the other characters. Not to mention...handsome. But, hey, I'm sure we'll get lots more Kristen, Leo, etc etc. :(

I started watching OLTL in 92 because of the Billy Douglas storyline which was very impactful to me at the time. I loved Michael Malone's first stint on the show. The second one was very so-so. Besides Agnes Nixon and maybe Malone, who do you believe were the best head writers for the show during its run?

I recently streamed the whole show and hadn't seen it since being a kid in the 80s. The stark change in tone in season 8 was jarring. The show became sooooo slow and boring. I found some of season 9 entertaining, especially the first 13 episodes, but it was like a whole different show by then.

Wild guess...they have a surprise child together.

But, I'm sure they'll write endless more episodes of Kristen, Leo, etc...

WTH???? The actor was the best addition to the show in YEARS. He had chemistry with everyone, handsome, fit in so well with the Hortons. I don't understand why this show cannot write for the Hortons. Since the new writing regime, there are some good "scenes" but not good "stories" if that makes sense. I had renewed Peacock because I wanted to see the anniversary and Xmas episodes, but I think I'm canceling again.

I thought she was fascinating as Patty the first time, and the show made the mistake of taking her too far and writing the character into a corner. I had wished they had stopped short of that and found a way to keep her. That being said, I don't trust this show to do anything right these days.

Yay for BTG! I hope it continues! Glad GH is still doing well, too.

I just don't understand why Noah can't have a love interest close to his own age. This show seems to do everything to avoid the "young" in the "Young and the Restless."

OMG....I thought the same thing. He looked soooo good in those long johns, and I agree, I like the thicker version. :)
