  1. If Chance hadn't cheated on Chloe during their engagement, it would've been close: Katherine Valentine Chancellor.
  2. *Pet* is a stretch. This is KB's longest B&B run in 25 years. She's only had two other runs 2002-03 and 2017-18. Did either of those even last a year? It's remarkable Sheila can be integrated so well into the show despite she a long absence since her initial run 1992-98. ITA - Sheila works well in clearly defined stories. Unfortunately, Bell has a habit of writing Sheila into unnecessary corners. Seriously, the thought of Finn finding out that Sheila spiked Brooke's champagne turns into shooting Steffy (and Finn). C'mon. But it did boost the ratings for several months. So there's that.
  3. If it's not a con, then what's Diane's remaining story? She marries Jack and fades into woodwork? Nah. Diane has always been duplicitous. Plus, it's no coincidence that Sally mentioned her *con artist* parents for the first time - even on B&B. Jeremy certainly could fit the bill there.
  4. There must be a lot more to the Diane Jeremy story than we know or at least I hope so because frankly I'm not buying the whole Stark Threat at all. 1. Jeremy is upset about $250K taken 6 years ago. As he mentioned that's like $25/hour for the time he spent in prison - not counting inflation! Yet he's in sharp suits and kicking it at a luxury hotel. 2. And everyone, including Victor, acts like Jeremy is some ruthless killer and is shaking in their boots. Heck, half of GC has tried or actually killed someone. I'm don't see the hysteria leading to Phyllis' firing by Aunt Jack, Kyren and SuperGirl. Honestly, having MS work more with MG is a positive. 3. Diane offered to pay Jeremy back, Jack offered double the money, which still isn't much for the GC 1%ers, yet he's not really biting. I think Diane/Jeremy are together. And her arrival in GC several months before his release has to more there's something more. Diane could've come back to GC years ago, but she didn't.
  5. After learning about Taylor and, eventually, Bill and Steffy, I'm inclined to believe Finn will give Sheila a second chance. Partly because Finn is a good guy and he's is *new* to the Forrester, Logan, Spencer sins. Most importantly, he needs to because the show is the better with KB around.
  6. The Danny, Phyllis, Daniel scenes were better than I expected. I did like the Danny/Phyllis conversation about Daniel's custody. Boy, Christine just looked so bitter with those fantastic flashbacks. That was a brilliant way to frame the Danny scenes. Lily's breakup scenes with Billy were spot-on. So now Sharon, Chelsea and Chloe are *completely* sane and declawed. Sharon should've never been written as crazy, but MCE and EH are far better as pot stirrers than sanitized Stepfords. SW has far more chemistry and energy with JH than with PB. The contrast was evident in Friday's scenes. ED and TSJ are interesting to watch. Y&R needs to stop the corporate musical chairs. It's just too much. Yes, Y&R has always been business heavy. Y&R's office sets were a great backdrop, but the conversations mostly centered around everyone's personal life. Nikki stormed into Victor's office constantly, but it was never to talk business...
  7. Uncle and niece, it was gross even with the bio linage change since they grew up with that relationship. Although not brother-sister, it's still kinda gross ... like Brooke being with father, 3 brothers, almost Ridge's son, her daughter's husband, etc. Heck, they almost had Ridge and Bridget go for it! B&B has always pushed those boundaries. B&B conveniently forgets certain things - so that can be buried, especially with Rick off canvas indefinitely.
  8. The Li thing was a bizarre plot gimmick. In theory the writers were like wouldn't this be a great twist and way to bring the far underutilized DD on canvas. It was obvious from the first scenes that this simply didn't work on any level, which is why it was abandoned. B&B is skilled at pivoting quickly. $B being sanitized was a big mistake. B&B needs instigators like $B, Sheila, Quinn, Deacon, even Thomas, etc. to move stories forward. The rest of the characters are all *good* and that's not compelling to watch. Steffy has been declawed, which is a mistake. I'm wondering how Finn will react when he finds out what $B was talking about when he kept mentioning Steffy in the same breath as Brooke and Katie. I'm assuming he's unaware.
  9. On paper yes, but the execution for new characters has been horrific. They brought 5 new characters from a *legacy* family when Sally2 was introduced. Disaster. Same with Avants. Brad should try adding only 2 new character - Diana and RJ. If they want to do a big twist: undo Ridge being Moss's son. Nobody wanted that. With Sheila on the canvas, she can certainly be the scapegoat. I guarantee the audience would glad accept that Ridge, Thomas, Steffy and RJ are bio-Forresters. This correction allows Diana and RJ to become involved, which opens up a whole lot of story for numerous characters.
  10. After the reveal on B&B this week, I'd be quite disappointed if KB didn't have a scene for Tracey's episode. Interestingly, that twist opens a logic door for DD to also appear. Even though he's playing a different character, Lauren and Brad did have a thing back in the day. He was on Y&R for almost 25 years.
  11. Considering Sally mentioned her *problematic* parents probably for the first time in the character's history, it's probably not a coincidence. Phyllis could use some new blood and there was definitely a bit of a spark in their scenes.
  12. Gotcha. This summer I speculated that this *secret* could be useful to someone. It seems like an easy out of this mess. Seriously, the lunacy of Sheila shooting both over 'why did I drink?' C'mon. The irony is that Steffy + Thomas then proceeded to work so hard to get Taylor/Ridge back together, when the easy solution would've been to have Steffy join Thomas and Sheila. But, I'll concede, the resulting storylines did boost B&B's ratings.
  13. Wait, so the police and everyone know Taylor shot Bill? Then Bill and and the DA, declined to press charges? It's not really a crime that is left solely to the victim here. I suppose B&B's justice is used when it's a convenient plot point. I was under the impression that Bill, Liam and Steffy were the only ones who knew the truth, but I wasn't really watching regularly during that period.
  14. Yikes at Friday's episode. It's further proof the CG is being wasted tied to Teriah. If Y&R was bold, they'd explore Daniel/Mariah. MG/CG had chemistry back in the day. It'd be interesting because Daniel's drinking lead to Cassie's choice and death, denying Mariah the chance to meet her sister. There's so much history to be mined. Not to mention Sharon/Phyllis/Summer in the mix with Kyle thrown in - another avenue for Mariah.
  15. And funny how Taylor's premeditated shooting just got swept under the rug by all 3 families. Bizarre how Sheila's impulsive shooting, which was a a terrible plot point, is somehow irredeemable, but $B's attempted murder is not. Did we ever find out if Sheila actually has money or was that just sweet talk to get Deacon's help?
  16. KA plays Taylor like a blue collar chick, which is fine. I like her interpretation and her acting choices. However, HT brought a sense of elegance and as you mentioned, sophistication, that was an intended contrast to the 'girl from the valley.' Regardless, KA has done a great job in her first year of reinventing Taylor. The character was absent for far too long.
  17. Good theory. I foresee a short stint on Y&R, especially with Daniel back - she is Lucy's grandmother. Sheila will return to B&B and somehow get out of this mess. Hey, Taylor shot Bill (premeditated) and everyone has just swept that under the rug. KB is still ratings gold to the show that was proven with the unusually high ratings of the special Halloween episode. Just bring Diana along to meet her brothers Ridge and Finn as well as her niece/sister-in-law Steffy. They have so much story that hasn't been touched instead of the usual rehashing.
  18. It's all about Harrison's feelings for DeeDee! Give me a break. No wonder Phyllis feels like she's in some alt universe as Jack, Kyle and Summer have all been snowed by Diane. Seriously, this is a woman who abandoned her son to fake her death, then got in bed with a criminal, turned on him and stole his money. NAP (Nikki, Ashley and Phyllis) are not wrong. Also, DeeDee sure didn't seem so scared of Jeremy when they met. And you know Phyllis didn't give Stark the Abbott address because Diane is at hotel. What a coincidence Diane just happened to be at the Abbott house when he showed up, mere moments before Jack arrived. Diane sure parlayed that *unlucky* visit into a sleepover. Just sayin' Could Tucker and Phyllis kick it? That would be an interesting pairing, especially now that Phyllis has pulled into Devon's universe via Daniel's job offer.
  19. MG + CK still light it up. In fact, I've started peaking back because of his return. Lily was turned into a matron at 25 because of Daddy Kangaroo. Seeing that retro clip from 18(!) years ago. Um, wow! Jack reading Phyllis. Best work PB has done in a long time. Gotta say MS and PB are great acting partners because MS let PB have his moments. Y&R really needs more of these types of scenes.
  20. Thank you. Since we've seen a huge part of Sally's adult life play out on screen, I wonder if Victor's digging will unearth something *created* or shed light on a part of Sally's pre-LA past? The latter is possible, I suppose.
  21. Has Sally's last B&B storyline been revealed on Y&R or was that part of Sally's life retconned?
  22. It's hard to believe PD was last on 11 years ago. I wonder if he was asked previously and declined.
  23. If popularity equaled quality, shows like TEON would've rated above, say, GH. It's also why popcorn movies/romantic comedies excel, while indie films scrape by, etc. B&B's formula has worked for decades both in US + Internationally. It's likely an incredibly profitable show, which is really what show *business* is all about. Unless the Bell family decides to shut it down, it'll continue well past the remaining legacy soaps.
  24. WOW! @Taoboi Spot-on that TK/KKL are far better than given credit. When they read the script, I wonder if they chose to replay 2019 in their own subtle ways. This storyline is so ridiculous, I just can't watch it.
  25. Theoretically, #DAbby should be watching paint dry. The reality is definitely *not* dry! Glad they finally pulled the trigger. I wonder what Ashley + Tucker will think. Can Chance and Amanda have a revenge fling? it's pretty hilarious to think anyone would cheat on those two fine specimens. smh
