Why do the writers hate Darren and his family so much? they finally brought in his twins and now Darren’s son abused his sister.. Hollyoaks always tackled heavy story’s and things that happen in real life BUT THIS? sometimes I wish they would finally end it. But just because I feel like this show deserves a slow death wouldn’t be fair to the other fans coz some Love incest story’s idk. But for me Hollyoaks feels so dead even after the big revamp. This show never felt so lifeless and weak

I’ve managed to get through July 1981. the ice princess story finally moved forward. I was shocked… Robert’s partner “OReilley got killed. Such a shame. They are throwing Emma Lutz and Charlie on us and a bunch of new minor characters but kill off O’Reilley who had so much potential. But it was still a great storyline. Alexandria and Tony won against Luke-Laura-Robert and got the ice princess and the formula even though she had to kill James Duvall. I knew it was coming but it was still so damn well acted. Alexandria even tried to frame Laura for it. But Slick, OReilley, Robert and Luke to the rescue ! Joe and Heather got closer and even kissed and the tension is rising. I have to say that I really love the Joe-Heather pairing. The chemistry is off the charts. But now they threw Sarah into the mix. She seems obsessed with Joe and is messing with Heather. Can’t wait to see where this will lead to. DAYS Legend Thaao Penghlis got introduced as Victor Cassadine! That was so exciting. They are all on that big boat and are on their way to an island even though no one seemed to know where the cruise will stop but Victor and Tony! Robert-Luke managed to sneak on the boat of course and got a big surprise: Laura had already been on board lol Those episodes were so much fun with them hiding. AND GH LEGEND Tiffany Hill got introduced as Victor’s girlfriend. I loved Tiffany since I was a baby and saw a lot of her on YouTube etc. BUT damn. When she first appeared in this show she was a complete B!ch lol nothing like the Tiffany I used to know. But her back and forth insults with Alexandria were fun. but on 7-31-81 Laura as Lucy Johnson was cleaning her room and they had such a deep conversation and Tiffany showed some of her sensitive side ❤️ Tony-Alexandria ‘s Lovestory is so heartwarming even though they are the villains. Technically Alexandria has been power hungry and always wanted more BUT just stole the ice princess coz Tony broke her heart and cheated on her with Tiffany. Ouch. But I can clearly see that he regrets it and really loves her and I really like them together. Bobbie-Noah have some great chemistry BUT it’s dragging. Only great episode of them was when Bobbie explained to aunty Ruby how she really feels and how scared she is to get hurt. She only really loved Roy. Poor Bobbie Hutch.. Oh Hutch. I gave up on it but the story was getting me back into it. Amy learned how to tolerate him and how to separate him from being a murderer and just being a patient. She struggled how to deal with him and that was really great stuff. BUT what really surprised me was that Hutch-Rose scenes and her hatred for him because he worked for the people that killed Paddy Kelly. But oh damn do they have chemistry 😍 I wonder why the writers never gave Amy more than just being GH’s Gossip Girl? Like they introduced minor characters like Stacey and that other wooden doctor and got them a fling. But why couldn’t they introduce a doctor for Amy? Makes no sense. U have single and beautiful available female character yet u introduce two characters no one cares for? Dissapointing. and I wonder if Genie Francis would’ve stayed for 1982 if Luke and Laura would’ve gotten another summer storyline

Hell to the NO! I’d rather see Courtney come back from the dead and be with him or Britt. I’d rather take Elizabeth/Jason over this awful pairing

I think 2003/04 - 2007 were such a strong period.. 1999 was so-so, 2000 was weird and a bit off, 2001-2002 were meh.. 2003 a bit better, 2008 was so-so. 2009-2010 was good and better than anything they put out these days on the surviving 4.

Hollyoaks will be cut to 3 episodes a week because of new viewing data and that means more job losses! everyone know how much I love Hollyoaks and that since my childhood/teenage years BUT at this point they should just cancel it altogether and end it with a big finale/ending! Like what the hell is that? oh and British soaps award got cancelled lol it’s kinda over for British soaps lol

Oh gosh it’s so great to see Scotty’s hatred for Sonny again and him teaming up with John! I always wanted more of Sonny vs Scotty. I love Sonny but I always loved Scotty more. He should get the last laugh over Sonny for a while.

I’m through with October 2016 completely now… I can see why GH won at the daytime Emmy’s for 2016-17.. This year was so balanced, always fast paced and most of the cast got their fair share of screen time and we got great acting and even some balanced and GOOD writing. September-October already finished off the two major story’s before November sweeps. I guess it had more to do with two main cast member leaving. We came to the end of the GH Serial Killer Story. Burgi was a great recast for Paul and even though some of the writing was so-so he delievered what they threw at him. He took Tracy hostage and wanted to kill her off. Even though Paul was a villain and I did think they could’ve done more with the serial killer plot but they did finish it on a high tbh. I even felt sorry for Paul coz of what he felt about what happened to his daughter. I know how people feel about the Corinthos Clan and Sonny/Carlt in general. BUT during the mid 2010’s the corinthos clan felt like every other family we all loved during the 80’s/90’s episodes. They were a unit and loving and caring and only the Julian Jerome thing was hanging over them and Sonny actually did came to his senses and wanted to let the justice system take of him. They failed. He ordered a hit but called his gut and cancelled it after a really well acted scene between MB as Sonny and Griffin. But it was too late. With October we came to the climax of the Morgan Corinthos storyline. I still hate Ava for tempering with his meds which she feels guilty about. Which she should. But Morgan really lost his mind and his way when Kiki was about to break up with him for Dillon and when he thought they slept together. It was so heartbreaking to see Morgan suffer for weeks and going through all of his bipolar and then stealing Julian’s car with the bomb in it. Jason/Drew managed to make him stop and get out of the car and it exploded. I cried for like 10 minutes straight even though I knew it would happen. Great acting.. Morgan’s death destroyed the well bonded corinthos clan and gave them something real and heartbreaking stuff to deal with. Carly moved out and blamed Sonny, Michael got angry with Sonny and Sonny lost his mind.. The grieving family had so much material and the actors and actresses did so well with it. They deserved their win for best daytime drama. Can’t change my mind! there was Nelle looking out for Avery and being there for the family and even looked out for Sonny. Idk. People can find me weird but with those Nelle-Sonny scenes I kinda wanted them to hook up. I even screamed at my screen: do it already lol Sonny wanted to end his life and OFC who popped up? Right… Robin! I’m not excited to see her coz she returned way too many times with her short stints that they don’t feel special anymore.. And if that chick brings up stone one more time.. ugh. They are milking it and I was not having it and Sonny wasn’t having it either lol The Claudette story got wrapped up too before November sweeps. 3 main story’s ending in October. I have to say that as dull as this story started it was still touching and good finished. Maxie even got kidnapped by mistake and I loved seeing KS as Maxie a bit more feisty again. This story made me fall in love with Maxie and Nathan again. Their chemistry was so natural. But Claudette’s gone and left her daughter with Griffin. Griffin is charlottes dad instead of Nathan. Sure sure. I really like Griffin. No joke here but the actor and I went to the same bathroom in 2018 at the convention and I was so nervous that a cast member was using the bathroom and I kinda hurried up to get out there lol Curtis-Jordan have chemistry. They should’ve done something with it.. Valerie-Curtis ain’t it. Valerie was the most unnecessary introduction to the show.. Bobbie got a few episodes and she is so mean to Nelle.. I was like: Bobbie. Chill out man. Nelle is just helping out lol GOSH I’m so over Julian Jerome and Alexis Davis ! Alexis starts to being a drunk and talking to herself about what she’s been through. Girl STFU! At first I felt sorry for her but now I want her off my screen and I forgot how unlikeable Julian was and can’t stand him. Makes me miss the Julian Jerome/Charlie years with Kim Nero. lol They brought back Valentine Cassadine! Now it’s getting interesting and that he was involved with Claudette makes it even more interesting!

Spinelli/Jason is the only thing I look forward to in 2024! At least they are fun and roll with the run they have.

They were definitely popular and spinelli has been a fan favorite since the good old days late 00’s of GH. I get when people don’t like him because of his hyper personality but he is hilarious especially in scenes with Jason back then

Very delightful! 😭😂 ED has become such a joke. 2023 was the worst year of that show.. I took a break and just got back when they started the Belle Story. Belle is so precious and I love her character and now she gets such a tough story. But like I said earlier: this is a story that needs to be shown for the younger audience or all people in general who can’t see their partner for what vile monster he is.
