Dana is going above and beyond in her reactions, which normally means she's overcompensating and lying. Damn, Nicole, is that enough Febreze? You're saturating your furniture. That is insane. Eva, you have got to stop protecting Dana; she tossed you out, locked you out, and tossed you out again. You owe her no loyalty. Notes: Sorry, but Bonita Brisker (Sharon) is doing too much in her acting, and it's off-putting to me. She's got to reign it in. More use of Febreze and no commercial before or after. Once again, Ambyr Michelle (Eva) is showing up and out with her leading talent! She's a superstar!

We already did that with Victor, Victoria and Sabrina; we don't need a rehash of a poorly told story.

Just watched the episode concerning Olivia's drug use and Abby's persistence, etc. Donna Mills did stellar work in this episode, as did Tonya Crowe and Brian Austin Green (Brian).

I disagree; if this were Chris Clenshaw, then I would be worried. But it's a new producer coming in to clearly create the canvas they want to create, and I'm okay with that. Re-introducing characters to shake things up and possibly take some other ones out of the canvas. It'll be interesting to see the finished product.

I am ready for our first full week in what feels like a while! They worked Sweeps month!

Beyond the Gates: A The Bold and the Beautiful: F Coronation Street: B Days of Our Lives: B- EastEnders: A+ Emmerdale: A- Hollyoaks: B+ General Hospital: C Neighbours: C+ The Young and the Restless: F For me, Beyond the Gates, EastEnders, and Emmerdale led the pack during Sweeps month, with Coronation Street and Days of Our Lives following. General Hospital and Neighbours sit in the middle with what I'd call a "take it or leave it" kind of Sweeps month, and the Bell soaps bombed (per usual).

Thomson also has ties to both Josh Griffith (Y&R) and Robert Guza Jnr (GH), so while I'm not her biggest fan, I can say she is tied into the daytime community. And she has worked with Chuck Pratt Jnr on both Y&R and Secrets of Sulphur Springs, which for a modern Disney Channel series, did not look half-bad.

Finally catching up since I've fallen so behind... I'm pre-40th anniversary celebration.

I appreciate that Tracy is being honest, yet she pulled back from both Anita and Vernon; she knows what Sharon is thinking, even if it isn't as clear-cut as it might be. Sharon is a nasty old bitty; I am sure we'll figure out why at some point. We love real-world references of baristas mispelling names (or so I'm told they do). Investigator Katherine Richardson is on top of things. I love it. Dana is venomous; I want to believe in her love for Eva, but I cannot believe she truly loves anyone but herself. Sex with benefits? Oh, that's a new one I've never heard of before. Normally it's "friends with benefits", but this is SEX with benefits? How frank and honest. Sharon is not playing; her foot is firmly on Anita's neck, and she won't be letting go of pressure until she wants to. Notes: I adore Cady McClain (Pamela), but I am wondering how this accent? Now, she's suddenly sporting some kind of British inflection? I'm really curious about this. The buffalo chicken on the table at Uptown? Get in my stomach, immediately. They look exactly like how I enjoy my buffalo chicken, and I ain't had any in forever. It's time. Keith D. Robinson (Ted) and Sean Freeman (Andre) have wonderful uncle-nephew chemistry. And I can see the family resemblance between them. I'm buying it. Ambyr Michelle (Eva) continues to show up and show out with her acting and the face she gives. A true star.
