  1. original release date: Thursday, February 5, 2026 | writers: Jamey Giddens, Danielle Paige | director: Michael V. Pomarico Thoughts: Anita is working her new 'do at the country club while handling Cotillion business with Jessica and Samantha! Yes, Queen! Work! Hot mama, Nicole! And with Kial? Oh, she is absolutely playing the field without shame and I love this for her. She deserves this. Next steps indeed, with Joey inviting Vanessa into his home. And what a home it is. Very moody and I love it. Jan and Mona as the gossipers at Orphey Gene's make me so giddy. And I love that nothing appears to be off-topic. Once again, Shanice and Ted are at a place where Nicole is on a date, albeit not with Carlton this time. And she is looking HOT HOT HOT! Is that a bit of spark in Jessica hearing Anita's background with Cotillions and her feelings about them? Anastasia has a granddaughter? Francesca? Hmm... interesting. Anastasia vs. Anita could be one kick-ass showdown, and I would be here for it. The spitfire in Nicole is so hot. I love that she shot down Ted's enquiry and was not allowing him to suss things out as if he has a right to know about it. Oh shït. Anita shut Anastasia down with her EGOT status and even spelt it out for her. Anastasia's attitude is disgusting but I also expect nothing less from someone who holds their nose so high that they cannot even tell when their own shït stinks. I am sorry... move in? Oh, Vanessa is absolutely asserting herself to take every single [legal] thing that Joey owns. The takedown is going to be delicious. I feel like Vernon is getting that appetite for the political race and is looking at it through Martin's own campaign. Anita going toe-to-toe with Anastasia is delicious, and she certainly put her in her place, right where she belongs. And everyone in the country club just witnessed royalty. Brilliant. Oh, Anastasia scurried right off when Anita lifted her hand to fix her 'do. She is shaken to her inner core. Brilliant. Kial keeps mentioning how good Nicole's kissing is, but he looks like quite the professor at it as well. Now, let me try him out, Nikki! That is right, Shanice. Stand your ground and stand up for yourself. Amazing. And not the damn panties that Dana planted in Ted's hotel room making their way into Shanice's hands. No bueno. Notes: One of writer2's better breakdowns, but there is still a lot of ground to cover. The weakest link in the bunch. Not the Felicity mention regarding Keri Russell cutting her hair off. But Tamara Tunie (Anita) is rocking her new look. It is refined and sleek, yet modern and fashionable. That middle-parted hairdo on Daphnée Duplaix (Nicole) is stunning, and I hope she keeps it! And the dress? As beautiful as the previous outfit she wore during her date at Uptown. The second-year set budget is working! First we got Nicole's bedroom and now we have Joey's [penthouse] apartment, and it looks outstanding. Rich with dynamic atmosphere. Cannot wait to see what else is about to come! The continued history lessons where Cotillion is concerned are refreshing as someone who is unfamiliar with it, and the few run-ins within television and media did not do as good of a job as this soap has done at explaining it. Damn. Lauren Buglioli (Vanessa) is too good in her role. Plus, her chemistry with Jon Lindstrom (Joey) is electrifying. They work exceptionally well together. Introducing this [new] rivalry of Anastasia vs Anita is juicy and reeks of classic soap opera feuds. Timeca Seretti (Anastasia) plays her role exceptionally well. Duplaix and Greg Vaughan (Kial) do have some insane chemistry, but I still think her best lies with Robert Christopher Riley (Carlton).
  2. Writers: Jamey Giddens Danielle Paige Director: Michael V. Pomarico
  3. Today's episode was preempted on the east coast due to news coverage concerning the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie.
  4. featuring Sarah Michelle Gellar
  5. You are very welcome, and thank you for always being so gracious and appreciative.

  7. original release date: Wednesday, February 4, 2026 | writers: Michael Montgomery, Jazmen Darnell Brown | director: Anthony Pascarelli Thoughts: I love that Chelsea just assumed there was a fabulously dressed stranger in her grandparents' home. And her emotional reaction to Anita's new look is absolutely natural. All too natural, but I appreciate that Anita is trying to keep things on the up and up. Sounds like there is some sexy time planned for Bradley and Martin, and I love that for them, especially after how rocky last year was for them. It is high time that they get their groove back, officially. Caroline is very perceptive to see that Bill ushered Hayley out of the office like a bat out of hell. Andre, it may not mean the end for you right now, but I am sure by the end of the year, you will have one ex-wife under your belt. A Mercedes Benz on her birthday? Damn. Bill is one helluva boss if I do say so. Sign me up for that kind of reward, although I would prefer the money that the Benz costs over the car itself. Damn. Max is fully out of breath. And to be requesting multiple shots? Damn. What did he see? The sibling banter between Izaiah and Jacob is great. Goes to show they have that strong connection to each other. Bradley's passion for this new story is amazing. I just hope it does not ultimately get him into trouble or worse... dead. The more Anita talks about her history with the Articulettes, the more I fall in love with that whole era that we will never get to experience firsthand. Hayley is being extra messy, but thankfully, Izaiah can handle his own. And now she is sneaking in a nude image of herself for Izaiah to see. She is messy. Ashley and Shanice randomly enjoying a glass of wine at Uptown, gossiping about the workday, is simple, yet effective. Brilliant. That is right, Dani, act as the judge, jury, and executioner with Bill. Lay it all out for him. BAM! So Jacob is about to go fully undercover within the plasma ring? That is going to be massively intense. Go on, Miss Anita! Get on that piano and work those poses! Yes, mama! I think it is sweet that Madison is willing to try out the long-distance thing. This will be a great test for their relationship. Bill, neither you or Dani are going to be able to stay away from each other for very long. Notes: Montgomery and Brown did an outstanding job continuing where Natalie Minardi Slater and Cheryl L. Davis left off yesterday. That is what we love to see from a solid, cohesive writing team. Love how we are getting stories interwoven in this episode. It feels like a much better balance than we had during Monday's episode. And it is nice seeing family relationships be established a bit more (e.g., Martin/Naomi). That photoshoot montage was outstanding, and Tamara Tunie (Anita) is fabulous! DAMN! Timon Kyle Durrett (Bill) and Karla Mosley (Dani) have the best chemistry! It is just electric between the both of them.
  8. Writers: Michael Montgomery Jazmen Darnell Brown Director: Anthony Pascarelli
  9. Shifting back to the Logan storyline is right where this soap needs to stay right now, until Bradley Bell finds a way to screw the pooch.
  10. It's just more of Bradley's auto-love while skipping those between stages, which are needed. I'm also tired of Lauren just being a non-entity where Sheila is concerned, as well.
  11. Thankfully it was not a full episode preemption, and TV38 put it immediately on.
  12. Credits for Tuesday, February 3, 2026: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten Writers: Nigel Campbell; Charlotte Gibson and Cathy Lepard Director: Tina Keller
  13. original release date: Tuesday, February 3, 2026 | writers: Natalie Minardi Slater, Cheryl L. Davis | director: Anthony Pascarelli Thoughts: I love it when Anita calls Dani "Danielle". It shows she means some business while in mom mode. But thankfully, Dani can see a bit through it. Chelsea and Madison are back to being cutesy, and I cannot help but feel like it might just backfire on them. Well, hello, Dr Martinez! Welcome to Garland Memorial. I hope you will be sticking around! Looks like Madison and Dr Martinez might have to look into this tea business. I appreciate how honest Vernon is being with Andre about what Bill said. You can sense there is a great admiration that Vernon holds towards Andre and his relationship with his baby girl. In theory, I understand Katherine's reaction, but she, once again, is overreacting to the news about Chelsea's decision to relocate to Copenhagen with Madison. I mean, Chelsea can, realistically, work for the company overseas. Emails, FaceTime, texts, and even Zoom exist in today's world. I appreciate that Anita allowed herself to make the first cut before entrusting Dani to do the rest. So brave as well. Hayley trying to cover her tracks and ensure she can continue poisoning Bill is hilarious. She is starting to lose what little bit of cool-headedness she had. Oh, Ms Anita! Your new 'do is FABULOUS! And very you! A classic look. Loving it. Vernon continues to be husband goals, supporting and understanding, and unwavering! He is it! Wow. Kudos to Dani for being honest about kissing Bill. I am surprised she was as honest, but it also shows how much she does respect Andre as her husband, especially given the news that Vernon delivered about Bill's true feelings. Notes: I love that Minardi Slater is part of the writing team. Her scripts are always well-paced and very rich in detail. And being paired with Davis is another match made in soap-writing heaven. The lighting in the episode today is absolutely stunning. The way in which the lighting team makes things look so rich and not like daytime is another special touch this serial has that sets it apart from the other four American daytime soaps. Plus, Pascarelli's storied history in daytime shines through in his camera work. The continued realistic portrayal of cancer is truly beautiful. It does not feel forced or preachy. It feels informative and brilliantly told. This is what soaps are about. Karla Mosley (Dani) and Tamara Tunie (Anita) are perfectly cast as daughter and mother, respectively. I do see similarities in how they look, especially in today's episode, and you can just sense the natural chemistry between them. The continued use of actual real-life images from the actor's own life is outstanding. And damn, Tunie has aged gracefully over the years. Pure class. The continued use of music in scenes is outstanding; they know how to properly balance it all so it supports scenes and does not overpower or control them.
  14. Writers: Natalie Minardi Slater Cheryl L. Davis Director: Anthony Pascarelli
  15. Deacon and Taylor love each other? Love? 🤣🤣🤣 Damn. The teenage love story syndrome this soap continues to have is laughable. And while Rebecca Budig and Sean Kanan have chemistry, I do wonder how this story could have been sold with Krista Allen in the role of Taylor. 🧐
  16. I agree; she is underrated as an actress, and I feel like Diane has received undue hate over the years. If a Brookside revival is possible, I could see her exit leading to that, as well as Claire Sweeney's exit from Coronation Street.
  17. Gutted that it is ending. She really is the best host in daytime television; guess I will shift my focus to Drew Barrymore. But I fully understand her decision to focus on her family. That's top priority.
  18. Per the end credits for February 2, 2026, Donny Carrington (l.) is expected to make their debut as Ren Tolliver; Will Holland (c.) is expected to make their debut as Dr. Martinez; and Cris Ruiz (r.) is expected to make their debut as Max. All three roles will be day players.
