  1. While TOLN's outdoor work, especially for All My Children, did look better than what Guiding Light did in Peapack, I still think they were some of the worst-looking things about the production. But those productions, for me, mirrors Hollyoaks a lot in terms of look and feeling. It's a shame things were not more progressive when the Peapack era happening. Watching Christopher Bernau's work as Alan Spaulding, I can see why Ron Raines was brought in. Was he different? Sure. But he fit the role. The casting of Dame Joan Collins worked, on paper, but it was clear she wasn't capable of handling the material / work schedule of a daytime soap. I think, had it been a different place and time, the Peapack era could have worked. Invest in building permanent sets ⏤ a-la English soap Emmerdale ⏤ and invest in some high-definition cameras. Yes, the hand-held high-def back then wasn't brilliant, but it could have been done right at some point.
  2. Lynn Marie Latham's creation and Maria Arena's desire to push that relationship even after it came out Cane was not Phillip made zero sense to me, and subsequent regimes continued backside kissing of the character made no sense. Windows were opened to possibly change the character were closed.
  3. Posted here and you responded two posts later: Responded to your comment here with the information: You're welcome, though. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  4. As I've explained many times before... it's less about the cost and more so about the fact they have no overnight crew to assemble the sets like they did pre-COVID.
  5. Any update on the remaster?
  6. I keeping thinking the only way we're getting Casey back is via a recast, and I'm okay with that. Anyone have ideas of who?
  7. Oh, that's even worse. I know when the Looney Tunes news came out, social media went CRAZY! Streaming cancellations are all the rage it seems.
  8. It is Stefan. People have huge spelling issues online; I see Steffy from The Bold and the Beautiful also written Steffi, Steffie, etc. and Nikolas on General Hospital as Nicolas, Nicholas, Nickolas, etc.
  9. We are in the strike-era of episodes. Interesting. That might make me semi-like Gabi again.
  10. Peapack could have worked today, but not in 2008 when it was introduced. They also missed the opportunity to go high-def with those hand-held cameras.
  11. You're always a wealth of positivity, aren't you?
  12. Pretty sure Beyond Salem is done; Steve Burton (I think?) revealed the planned third installment ended up playing out on Days of Our Lives due its moving from NBC to Peacock, and the first two installments (plus A Very Salem Christmas) are no longer on Peacock.
  13. So happy to see the tradition continue.
  14. Blazers would do WONDERS for Maxie. Fashionable, yet comfortable enough for her work at Deception... instead of grandma sweaters (which I don't hate... but don't always need to see them).
  15. No they wouldn't. These are probably the best Maxie looks in the past six months, and one is a repeat: 2022 had some good looks, too:
  16. I completely agree but, again, I do think the talent is selecting what they want to wear. If I recall, the last genuine time I feel like a woman on American daytime who was dressed by wardrobe when their weight did up was Melody Thomas Scott, although, her wardrobe always crossed with Nikki and vice versa. But she was never dressed, and I hate to use this word: frumpy, in the way I feel like the women of General Hospital have been dressed.
