  1. I'm down for it, but I do like Kevin with Laura, honestly.
  2. Yes. Heavy talent should introduce the soap. At least, that's our viewpoint. It would make sense. Have two promotional campaigns: one with the vets, one with the newbies, and sell it from there. Yes. This is why east coast talent showed up. They had the talent. West coast, especially by the '90s, was models trying to act since they were maxing out their age groups.
  3. They would be... but, selfishly, I'd rather they go to Réal Anderws first.
  4. I get that music is a classic staple of soaps... but genuinely, I would not be upset if music cues were cut altogether. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  5. I will say: was it me, or were the cues yesterday a bit different? Or at least less.... loud?
  6. Oh, I would not hate this, especially if Elizabeth Korte & Patrick Mulcahey have no interest in returning Zeke back to the canvas ⏤ which would be a crying shame, because he is one of the characters created by Dan O'Connor & Chris Van Etten that the audience as a whole seemed to really enjoy. I honestly would love a mixture of veteran east coast soap actors, as well as newcomers. A mix of both worlds. I really want CBS Studios, NAACP and P&G Studios to focus on east coast talent. I genuinely do. Go into community theaters, colleges and acting schools, and find some raw talent with some real promising talents. No offense to west coast soaps, but the talent is different and it shows in final products. Will it be like the hey days of casting? No. But it would be a promising sign for the future of The Gates. &G S
  7. If anything, it would have been a mention, because if Terry returned, it would've likely been a temporary recast.
  8. Jane Elliot is going anywhere, so we're safe on that one.
  9. The dialogue for me felt a bit crisper than it's been since the strike material.
  10. The one someone used to obsess over. It's like Bloody Mary don't want in invoke someone, LOL!
  11. Oh see, I wasn't watching in '04, and honestly blocked out '12 (due to the overwhelming One Life presence). Reminds me of another recast on another soap. 🤭🤐
  12. I just fail to see when Heather became so erratic. Even during Robin Mattson's previous tenures Heather appeared level-headed, but it seems like they wanted her over-the-top and unmanageable, and it's very.... off-putting. Unless that's simply how Alley Mills interpreted the material she was given, so they're rolling with this punch.
  13. At this point, the use of Heather Webber is over and done. Bringing her back in (albeit recast) for the Esme reveal was okay and better than some random newbie, but I'm done with the role. Let her have one final BLT and call it a day.
  14. 🤣 you mean you don't want the voice over: "The role of Stavros Cassadine will now be played by Roger Howarth"?
  15. And then her whole "you don't tell me anything, yet I am on a very healthy retainer! How can I help you? I don't want to know but you have to tell me!" You mean other than getting boned in the back of a car? HAha. I'm here for it... but a Stavros recast is necessary, given Robert Kelker-Kelly's checkered on-set shenanigans. Imagine the irony of Peter Reckell? LOL. Fans would lose their minds.
  16. And that pissed off the Liz stans so much, LOL!
  17. Alexis just wanted to get laid; you can't blame her, lol.
  18. CHARLIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Her and her tweed suits are expired; how she turned a two-day job into a stint this long is beyond me. She could go back to the capital and get caught this time. Crying shame 'cause William deVry was solid in the role.
  19. I'd give Diane three extra months to [now] finally realizing she can get Alexis' license back... but, after that, she and Robert can go away permanently. Oh it got REAL toxic when he did what he did to her. The allure went away.
