No offense but, if we're speaking Twitter, her mother has only confirmed she's exited and then called out one user for accusing Kelly Monaco of having substance abuse problems. That's all she's done, unless she's speaking elsewhere.

No writing change to my recollection... just a different direction, or finally deciding one altogether. The exits of Dev, Dustin & Lulu were call about one-year into the regime of Chris Van Etten & Dan O'Connor, so I don't think it was a decision made by them. My guess? Either Valentini or Disney ABC said "fix your budget," and those three exited and the Floatin' Rib set were collateral. One regular, two recurring and a set? Makes sense.

Yup; I even remember Lawson liking a post on IG / tweet where I even stated it felt like there was something nefarious about Dustin at first, and then they just... ignored it in the writing. So disappointing.

Eileen Davidson... consummate professional and amazing talent, but poorly cast as Kelly Capwell. Plus, look how DARK this soap looks in comparison to its earlier years. It's giving the west coast look of Guiding Light. Must've been a Rauch thing (at some point).

It was stupid; Milo was just a random one for her to attach to. Would have made more sense had Johnny Zacchara been there, and she latched to him. Dustin, the very beginning, gave "creep vibes" with Cameron Webber, and I kind of wish they'd been allowed to delve into that more. Plus, Lulu also went and became... a journalist? Of all things, a journalist? Whew.

I get why the "writer" did that; it was his way of introducing a recast, and having that jump between co-stars... but it was too on the nose for me. Dustin was a wasted character and Mark Lawson was wasted, as well. YUP! Ding-ding-ding! I've been saying this for years. Seems like once a woman in Port Charles has a baby she loses all of her edge and her spunk, and is all about being a mommy. Not a negative... but it's also out of character for many, and both Lulu & Maxie were two of those affected.

I am so ready for her and Drew Barrymore to come back! Best daytime talk shows in a long, long time!

She wasn't bad, no, but the writing was dismal. The spitfire in Lulu as a Spencer was washed out for being a mother. And, in today's soap world, motherhood means you lose all edge. It's baffling.

See, this is why I hate social media. We don't need to know this. But, at the same time, they're whining about THEIR choices? Haha. That's priceless.

So class. So absolutely class, and I would assume inklings of the Dinah storyline were beginning since Dinah debuted six-ish months later on June 16, 1986. And wow, an alternate mix of that theme? Very orchestral.

gahh. Going to miss it again! I just wish On Demand streaming would pick the series up!

It definitely looks bad, and makes me wonder what will happen to The Pitt. In other news, I've got to return to ER at some point in the future.
