Tuesday, October 15, 2024 – Episode #14966 Johnny prepares to confront Chanel about her infidelity. Xander confronts Fiona over what she’s done to Sarah. Brady thanks Eric for saving him. Alex and Stephanie decide to remain friends. Wednesday, October 16, 2024 – Episode #14967 Stephanie and Alex realize they made a mistake. Chanel wonders why Johnny is in such a mood. Abigail struggles with her mixed emotions about Chad. Thursday, October 17, 2024 – Episode #14968 Sarah and Xander press EJ to let Brady go. JJ officiates Chad and Abigail’s wedding. Sophia helps out Tate. Fiona and Brady have a much-needed discussion. Friday, October 18, 2024 – Episode #14969 Chad and Abigail’s wedding reception takes a sour turn. Ava gives Sophia words of encouragement. JJ and Holly commiserate about Abigail. Aaron gives Tate his blessing to date Sophia.

We could also bring Martha Byrne into the discussion with her concession and ultimate axing from As the World Turns. She agreed to the pay cut, as she knew the financial placements World Turns was in and asked for her episode guarantee to remain; as a result, Christopher Goutman put a casting notice out the same day to replace her. Per her quote to Michael Logan, 2008: ❝ This was the situation: Last year, I was asked to take a tremendous pay cut, and I did so willingly because I love ATWT and understood the financial situation the show was facing. I was willing to do anything to keep the show going, including giving up money, so we worked out a one-year contract. One year later, we go into this new contract negotiation and I had only one request. I thought it was only fair - and I wanted it on paper - that I would work the same amount of days this year that I did last year. I considered it a gesture of good faith on their part. I asked for nothing else. Zero. But I was told that this could not be put into my contract and, that same day, the show sent out a breakdown notice to recast my role ❞

I just want something smart and something that looks more than a Windows Movie Maker opening, which is what I feel the Knots Landing openings were. Well, the headshot openings [would] work if they used the same videographer/photographer. A lot of times, they don't, which is why something like General Hospital's present opening keeps looking off. They've switched photographers several times. NGL, I hated this theme. I much preferred the second theme, which felt more soap-like and had more of memorable feel to it.

Exactly; Maxie's calling her out at the funeral, while harsh, was warranted. Absolutely warranted. She really did come back and attempted to redeem herself, as well as rekindle her lost love with Mac, which allowed him to be brought back into the fold more.

Felicia's 2012 return was one of the good things the "writer" did do right, and when the two actors fired themselves, they put her on as a series regular, which was a SMART use of budget!!

I give them that... at least in their most-recent returns.
