  1. I wouldn't say she was with Jack; they shared a kiss, and that's it. But yes, Nick is hotter than [the current] Adam.
  2. I kind of did the same thing and, thus far, a lot of personalities match what the breakdowns said. It's nice to see those breakdowns be developed properly. Like you, I've been slightly lukewarm on Karla Mosley, although, that's also due to the fact I wasn't a fan of her character on Bold, but seeing her as Dani you can tell she has sunk her teeth to the gums into the material, and isn't letting go. Seeing her semi "broken" while making herself up, clearly preparing to go to Bill's office and make herself known, it's beautiful. I'm actually excited to see Daphnée Duplaix, as I wasn't a watcher of Passions or One Life, and I've always heard positive things about her and how she's been so ignored in daytime, so that's where I'm most excited.
  3. The teaser was unlisted until publications published it that it were given to. So, it's likely unlisted for a period of time where it's meant to be for Essence and then it will be properly listed. The thumbnail is even missing from the video.
  4. Same; they're two different levels of producer/writer. Two very, very different. And to clump them together feels... do I need to say the word? No? Awesome.
  5. It's positively delicious; over one-minute of delicious writing, directing and acting. Beyond the Gates is about to bring us what we've been missing from American daytime for decades.
  6. Assembly Studios allowed for outdoor filming, so maybe in summer months?
  7. A lot of black to that wedding. 🤣 "Black tie" taken so serious. I love it.
  8. Oh God, that was my first thought. 🤣 Horrible production model, but a much better series than it has become.
  9. Getting into this right now, with the help of a super-fan of both the series/David Lynch. And, as a result, they are already getting the bill for the therapy I'll need from watching.
  10. I agree. 'Twas I, @Vee! 😉😇 I'm just happy to see colour in the sets; we're avoiding HGTV blue/grey hues, altogether. 🤣🤣
  11. I see it less of interviews and more of "conversations" with his guests/old pals. It's the PR side of him, erring on the side of caution/protection, etc. That'd be my guess.
  12. I also think this is why they're erring on the side of caution from adding too many shadows within the serial's final look. Because, in some of those darker-lit shots, it's a bit... too dark of view.
  13. It resembles what TOLN had with AMC/OLTL, and I also think it's to avoid over-shadowing the actors. The lighting does not need changing; if anything, some work in post could be done. Some [light] changes in the brightness/contrast of the clips from CBS Sunday Morning:
  14. We already know whose wedding it is: it's Bill Hamilton's wedding to Hayley Lawson.
  15. Really? Because nothing about it screams "ratchet"?
  16. So, it's not a funeral they're gathered it (as some assumed) nor a gala (as I suspected), it's the wedding reception.
  17. CBS Unveils Trailer For Groundbreaking Daytime Television Series, ‘Beyond The Gates’ @BetterForgotten You got your wish, re: Essence
  18. I agree: it's clear that the Dupree family was the most important in terms of casting, and casting "names" was top priority. And I'd wager they aced it out of the park. They visually do look like a family, and their connection seems solid. Well, no offense, but only four of the main cast are White, and only one of them would be considered any kind of name (Mike Manning). I'd stick to allowing select cast duos/groups of two/three and doing individual CBS affiliate interviews.
