  1. Chose to watch Roseanne today on Peacock; they have cropped 16:9 re-edits of the series, but it seems to be A.I. upscaled.
  2. [Some] of the attitudes in the last few posts are absolutely deplorable and reeks of entitlement.
  3. Love situations like this. Those good 'ol soaps days.
  4. Praying this one is good, especially if it's in honour of the late Leslie Charleson. The "new" set looks decent, as well.
  5. So unfortunate, but I guess it also shows you never know what's going on behind closed doors, do you?
  6. No. That was Sherry Carter in the "Sherry" wig.
  7. "Anna" is a hoot and a holler of a personality.
  8. I agree. I saw a completely different episode on Wednesday, and it's semi-baffling to me. We will have to agree to disagree on this one; I find that this soap is doing it miles better than any of the others with their music, and again, the silent scenes (meaning no music) are thoroughly enjoyable to me.
  9. Because, unlike American daytime, primetime television does not use it to sell its drama. It supports it. The music on Beyond the Gates, when used, is supportive of the material. Whereas the other four use it to sell the material. View it as contempt for the genre, but that's on you, not on me.
  10. This one hurts; he's always been my prince from The Slipper and the Rose, but his work was always outstanding. R.I.P. good sir.
  11. There is no way anyone from the GH team (writing or otherwise) is watching another soap when they can't even watch their own to fix the messes they've made/continue to make.
  12. Nah. The one thing I do love about this soap is how it isn't reliant on background music at all. It's refreshing that scenes are allowed to breathe without music drowning everything out. Takes it from cheesy (like the other soaps) to mature (like this soap).
  13. The premise, while predictable, does feel like it does not need to be told. But congratulations to him.
  14. At least he's articulate, unlike others in daytime, who sound like they'retalkingwhiletryingtoeattheirfoodandlookingattheircuecards.
  15. "Jungle" is so good; dying to hear what else they've been working on, especially their song with Jade. That'll be a banger.
  16. I love this; I really enjoyed Ryan Quan's work at Days of Our Lives, and it's my hope he can infuse something into General Hospital that it needs. I think he has some solid ideas and hope to see something come from his position as breakdown writer down the line at GH.
