  1. That sounds like an improvement to me!
  2. "Re-live your favorite storylines over and over beginning with...Sonny's and Mike's Alzheimer's saga" All of the screencaps have Sonny in them. Which circle of Hell is this? Also most are from before 2018, I guess their media team didn't get the memo.
  3. Yeah, Joss is just a self-centered, entitled little brat. Which is FINE but the writing doesn't view her that way at all. Everyone acts like the sun shines out of her åss, including the guy she cheated on.
  4. No need to read the magazine anymore, I just listen to the occasional SOD podcast. Even if the hosts are terrible interviewers (they rarely ask follow up questions, very clearly just going down a list they're afraid to deviate from and both of them having weird voices!) I like hearing the actors talk about their auditions, history, process etc.
  5. Probably because Carly went through about 40 years of story in 15 years. Who is the other Carly on the show lol? Nina? Joss?
  6. Hey John, the problem is that you didn’t say those were predictions. Answering their question with a list of writers gave the impression that those would be the writers during the strike. Just a head’s up.
  7. Salem’s 5,000th return from the dead.
  8. Well, usually a "get" is reserved for who can attract eyeballs. Anyway, I don't want to talk about another generic male actor joining Days anymore lol
  9. The fact that the show went so long without her presence feels unimaginable to me right now. She carried her expository heavy scenes so well today, it's like I could feel Laura mentally transporting herself back to 1981. And her reaction to the Haunted Star exploded was everything if you consider how many times Laura has had to react to something awful happening to a member of her family. It's like it's impossible for her to give a false note. If the show is in danger of cancellation any time soon they're at least putting in the work to rectify sidelining and disrespecting Genie the way they did on and off for 40 years. Laura's face should be the one you think of when thinking of GH, she deserves the same level of association to it (without the Luke&Laura albatross) as Viki to OLTL, Victor to Y&R, Stephanie to B&B, etc. Tabyana's reaction was excellent as well. All these Sprina moments have made the exceedingly long burn almost worth the wait. I'm hoping the show can keep up the momentum with them. And that it's a long time before they breakup for some dumb plot driven reason. I want them to continue facing adversity together for minute.
  10. I'm not trying to shade him but I think you're inflating his draw power.
  11. I think this week on the whole was great! With today a highlight. Even the utter ridiculousness of James Patrick Stuart's acting made me laugh my åss off. I don't know what that man is doing but he's definitely doing something!
  12. Brenda is on the un-recastable list with Erica Kane, Victor Newman, Marlena Evans, Robin Scorpio, etc. You just don't even consider it. And as many ties as Brenda has to the canvas she's never a glaring omission in most stories because her familial ties aren't strong. You don't have her kids suffering in Port Charles while she's "finding herself" in Europe. So leave her be until you have the story and commit to Vanessa for a good long while.
  13. It does, especially since despite MONTHS of buildup ("If Sonny finds out he'll kill you! Or worse!"), Sonny did not give two shîts about Joss and Dex dating. The biggest problem with it is this kid playing Dex has the charisma of a potato and Kristina is too old to be in a triangle with a girl barely out of high school. I say that while not entirely against the idea of Kristina and Joss becoming a thing. @Vee and I joked around about this yesterday but I'm into it. Both McCoy and Mansi give top energy, I can't imagine them fighting over that walking wet blanket so why not just pair them? You'd get a lot more story out of Carly and Alexis's daughters dating than you would an endless triangle with a sad underwear model as the prize.
  14. Thank god! Dimitri Marick is such a unique yet believable name. Brice Cannon sounds like a parody soap name.
  15. From the very lopsided writing I don't think they have any intention to reveal that Joss cheated on Cam. I don't think they even view it as cheating. On top of wanting Trina to know the truth, I was so excited for Liz to find out Carly's daughter cheated on her son! They could have gotten some excellent moments out of that.
  16. Now you know damn well that doesn't matter!
  17. AS. SHE. SHOULD. Frank is well aware that Vanessa is the only draw that moves the needle, that's exactly why he doesn't want her back. Her temporary ratings goose would hurt his rep and a show that, in his mind, is running like a well-oiled machine and satisfying ABC. Brenda's return would show the seams and distract from he feels is working with the part of the canvas her return would most impact. You can't have Carly/Sonny and Nina/Sonny shippers sniping at each other with Brenda there because even they know good and well Sonny knock the 8.5x11 out of her hand if Brenda was in danger of getting a papercut.
  18. You did and that's weird. Can you say ✨obsessed✨? They'd definitely hire him as Jax recast. I am also all in for Marci as Lulu. She's beautiful and talented and not Emme Rylan, one of the worst actors to ever secure a job on this show. There was sadness in Lexi's video, which is understandable even if the decision was "mutual". I think she's very aware that show is adverse to having her or Haley Pullos in A-story. I think that and her firing probably did a number on her. The woman won an Emmy and they still don't want her.
  19. LMAO what the hell That kid looks a lot like Thorsten. So there's that.
  20. I realized just now that I've never seen Lila walk. In fact I didn't know until today that she was ever not wheelchair bound.
  21. A much better idea! Lulu's return creates far more story for the canvas than Kristina thrown into some unnecessary triangle.
  22. This is upsetting. Lexi is the best actor out of Sonny's kids. Hopefully for the show this goes better than the last time they recast Kristina, fans revolted. I'm sure GH still operating like a real television program was a part of her decision.
  23. Yeah, it used to be a lot more rigid. Especially when actors used to age more visibly. With all the advances in plastic surgery and skin care and general overall healthcare you have actors who don't fit the "elder" roles they're in. And a lot more veteran actors are sticking around, these casts are stacked with actors who have been around for 30-40 years. And I don't think that was the case in the 80s and 90s. The (waining) audience has shown that you can't just stop writing for them to write for their kids. At least in the ways soaps used in the 90s and early 2000s, where anyone over 40, especially women, got shafted and shunted off into the background graveyard.
  24. Lord. It's hokey and stupid but this virus story is very watchable. And I love how it's effecting the whole canvas. Also the score is SO GOOD, it's almost like they put thought into having the music match the actions in the scene! No lukewarm drippy music playing in the last 10 seconds of every episode.
