  1. You're right! I thought Alan had said "Laura wrote a letter", but I just went to GHH2 and found the transcript from that scene. Alan did say he wrote a letter! Alan: I know. I know you want your mother to be innocent, and the truth is I think she might be. Lulu: You do? Alan: For a long time, I thought that monica had killed rick. That's why I never said anything. But -- oh, god. But then, you and dillon started digging around and monica and I were forced to confront each other. [Alan chuckles] Alan: And she thought that I killed rick, so we had spent all these years protecting each other. Neither of us did it -- we were both innocent. Lulu: And you were willing to let my mother suffer? Alan: No, no. Oh, god, lulu, please try to understand -- I was so fond of your mother, but when you love somebody as much as I love monica, you'll say or -- or do anything to -- to protect them. Believe me, your father would've done the same thing -- lulu: That -- alan: If the tables were turned. Lulu: No, that does not make it right! Alan: No, no, it doesn't, and I'm -- I'm sorry. I am so sorry. Lulu: "Sorry" does not change the hell that my mother went through! It does not bring her back! Alan: No. Oh, god, Lulu, I'm so sorry. I hope -- I hope that maybe just -- maybe one day you'll forgive me. Lulu: Oh. Alan: I just -- I just wanted to say -- say one other thing to you. I saw something that night. Lulu: You saw -- what? What, someone with Rick when -- when he died? Alan: Oh, oh! I wrote a letter -- lulu: Ok. Ok, stop, stop, stop, stop. You - you just don't talk anymore, ok? Try and breathe and not die. Do not die with me in here, ok? Just breathe.
  2. At least Luke came to Tracy's defense today! He finally sounded like a good husband and a decent father today!
  3. Thank you so much for the clips! I finally got to see Scott & Tracy in action! (No wonder she doesn't trust him to this day!)
  4. In re: the spoilers we discussed yesterday, you can read Shriley's response to my question here: :(http://groups.msn.com/GeneralHospitalHappeningsTwo/technicalqs.msnw?action=get_message&ID_Message=574762&ShowDelete=0&ID_CLast=1956070&CDir=1&all_topics=1 Maybe. If the link works. I am terrible at links. If it doesn't work, go here: [email protected] And look in the Spoilerholics thread on the message board, message # 67961 Anyway, I feel a little better about this.
  5. I would say I am a Laura fan, but I never liked Laura with Scott. The first time, she was too young and he was more like her guardian. The second time was worse, he was like her lap dog and she kicked him to the curb to go back to the man who had cheated on her with Felicia, was drunk most of the time (back then), and was a lousy father. I also don't like Laura with Luke anymore. In the L&L On the Run Days, they were a fascinating couple. I didn't see them during the years they were having kids. But when Laura got back together with Luke in 2002, they turned her from a businesswoman and responsible parent to a giggling sidekick off on moronic adventures with Luke. IMO, I got the feeling that was why GF really left the show. She had said she was going to leave back in 2000, but MM convinced her to stay. I think it was because they were bringing Scott back into Laura's life and giving Laura a career. Laura was going to be her own person again. Then when she was relegated to being the boring half of L&L again, she had enough. GF would never say this of course, because the legions of L&L fans would crucify her for blasphemy. I think the Luke & Tracy marriage is brilliant. Tracy challenges Luke in ways that Laura never could. Their scenes are golden - I would love to see them together in a traditionally dysfunctional Q marriage forever. Be patient LuNacy fans, I feel the romace will happen eventually. Luke didn't sleep with Laura for almost a year after the rape, then they broke up immediately afterwards when they came back to Port Charles and she panicked and asked for Scotty. This is how soap writers torture us. I am sick of the Scott / Laura obsession. Everyone knows Scott had many loves since Laura, most notably Lucy & Dominique. I hate to say it, but leave Laura in her catatonic state. The character works better as an ideal, not as someone interesting to watch.
  6. Dammit! I just read the article that someone copied in the SZ thread. Looks legit. Trying to white it out - hope it works. ( A Killer In Their Midst After months of investigation, Lulu and her intrepid investigators. Dillon and Spinelli, get word from the dead (in the form of a letter written by Alan) that newly returned Scott killed Rick Webber. KS says that he didn't know that Scotty was capable of murder, but obviously it's a flaw in his character. Why he did it or how he did it have yet to come out. He says he's sure he did it for a noble reason, for protection of Laura. Now maybe more of his idle threats will be taken seriously because it's no longer 'DA Baldwin', but 'Killer Baldwin.' Shriner says that he was unaware of the twist when he was given a return ticket to Port Charles. KS says that it is a rather funny story. He says he was in a scene with Jackie Zeman where he asked if Laura mentioned Scott when she came out of her coma, then they went to tape the scene. Right before they rolled tape, they said over the loud speaker, 'Kin by the way, the reason why you want to know if Laura mentioned you is because you killed Rick Webber. Three, two, one, action!' The actor was understandably shocked. KS says so Scott has been threatening to send people to Sing Sing for his entire life and he's going to Sing Sing (laughs)? Isn't that the cats meow? Shriner says it's fine by him. KS says that he's always wanted to play a killer. He says he has killer instincts (Laughs). He says that he's always said that he would be happy to come back, but his only stipulation was that Scott doesn't end up dead. But prison is fine. I didn't know he'd be wearing a striped shirt eating chipped beef on toast up in Sing Sing where he'll be swapped nightly for a pack of cigarettes. So is prison the next stop for Scott? KS says that they haven't told him, but he has heard that there is more in store for Scott than meets the eye. Insiders say that Shriner is sticking around, despite the murderous revelation. The actor is looking forward to exploring the repercussions of his actions. KS says that Scott has been dark in the past. Bad guys are good guys who were once wronged, and this guy was wronged at a young age. He's still blaming Luke Spencer for forcing himself on his wife and ruining their lives all those years ago. He's a homewrecker yet he's the hero and Scotty's the bad guy? How the heck did that happen (Laughs)? )
  7. ILTQ, I hope those spoilers are wrong. Shirley at GHH2 had said differently last week, but you never know.
  8. Thanks for the photo link. Can't wait to see today's episode. Sounds like JE was the highlight of the show.
  9. The only consolation is that it's screen time for JE. But Alan lounging around in a sweat suit? GMAB!
  10. Somebody just posted this at SOC - said it came from the new TV Guide. I don't like it at all. Sounds undignified for Alan, and it's just Guza & co trying to clean up their mess. So they went ahead and killed Alan off to prop up Jason, as usual, IMO. Now they don't know what to do. * * * * * * * * * * * * * Put away the hankies, the beloved doc will be back March 8 as a wise-cracking ghost, this is no quickie stint, the 30 year vet whose apparent firing had viewers and co-stars in an uproar will be around for the foreseeable future. "We're going to keep Alan a very viable character" says headwriter Bob Guza. Alan will return to haunt his sister because she screwed with his will. When that's resolved he will decide to stay. GH has never had great luck with the supernatural - remember Casey the space alien? - so we want to really ground this story," he says. "There will be no etheral ghostly trappings. Alan will lounge around the Q mansion in a sweat suit. Only Tracy will be able to see him. The comedic possibilities are very cool."
  11. Thanks so much! I just watched the Scott & Tracy & Lord Ashton clip, wasn't too long for me. Took about 3-4 minutes to d/l. I wasn't watching in those years, so if by any chance you can upload any other Scott & Tracy scenes, I'd love them. Edited to add: Now that I see how scheming their relationship was, I am even more suspicious that yesterday's scene with Lulu might have been part of a plot they are hatching to keep Tracy with Luke. I re-watched their first encounter with Dillon outside the MC and they seemed fond of each other. Then yesterday, Tracy is suddenly attacking Scott and acting like she had no idea (Shocked! SHOCKED!) that he was around. This would be very much like them, to team up to get want they want, then to backstab each other in the end. The only weak link to my theory is that writers would have had to have actually watched GH or the old clips at some time in their lives.
  12. A lot of Tracy & Scott - I read the recaps at GHFF & Soap Central. Also a Tracy / Alan scene. Tracy laced into Scott - can't wait to watch. here's a thought: we never saw her reaction when Scott suggested Tracy help him if she wants to stay Mrs Luke Spencer. Could their confrontation today possibly be a set up for Lulu's benefit?
  13. Hi everyone! Just popping in to say that I'm back from vacation. It was terrible - our dog died unexpectedly while we were away. Work has been so busy, I just about get a chance to skim thru the posts here. Loving Tracy this week. I'll take 5-10 minutes every day, just as long as JE & TG are on. (loved their scenes yesterday with the stooges.) There's a long interview with Kin Shriner in this week's SOW. I actually broke down and bought it (with my coat covering my head like a celebrity arrested for DWI). Glad the hostage crisis is over and we can focus more on Q's, Spencer's, & Baldwins.
  14. I loved Friday's show so much I actually logged on to my husband's home office computer just to post here! Tracy & Luke & Dillon & Scott - this episode's a keeper. I loved the scenes between all of them Friday. The Lunacy kiss was great, esp the way Tracy took charge of it and Luke's reaction. She seems to keep Luke guessing all the time - like he said, she challenges him. The look on Tracy's face when she saw Scott was priceless, and I loved the way they spoke to & looked at each other. It had a perfect "old friend/ former lover & co-conspirator" nuance to it, but was subtle enough to appear to go over Dillon's head. Scott & Dillon had a few run-ins in the past, and they restablished their dislike for each other, as well as having Dillon defend Luke to Scott. And you can see the idea forming in Dillon's head of suspecting Scott of Rick Webber's murder. If they are ever going to do my dream scenario of making Scott turn out to be Dillon's father, the stage is set for a classic Darth Vader reveal. I'd like to see the never ending rivalry between Luke & Scott move from winning Laura's affection to winning Dillon's affection. Luke just rejected Dillon as not capable of helping in the rescue, and Dillon seems unaware of Laura's rape. I thought it was ironic that Dillon would question how Scott could still love a woman he was married to so young. Was that a clue that Dillon no longer really loves Georgie, his own teen wife? As for Scott tempting Tracy to conspire with him again, I don't know if Tracy will bite this time. Best scenario for me would be if she pretends to go along with him (making for more Scott & Tracy scenes) but is actually trying to find out his game so she can warn Luke. And keep us guessing all the way as to her true intentions. Well, I'm off to my vacation tomorrow - will have to catch up on the episodes I miss when I get back. I'm sure this was the best day for our favorites before the whole hostage saga finally ends, so most of my viewing will be in FF mode.
  15. I only come online while I'm at work, because WTF? LOL!
  16. be still my heart - a Scott. Tracy, AND DILLON scene! whited out for the spoiler free (not many details anyway): ( Tracy, Dillion, Scott - Tracy ask Scott if he should be in prision, he said he couldn't get reservation. Dillion thought he was gone after the fire. Tracy ask why he is back now, he says because he was home sick and wanted to see Laura. Scott ask if Tracy is still Mrs. Spencer. Dillion wants to know why he cares, ask if he is still in love with Laura. )
  17. I'm reading a live thread on soap central, and I see there was a Lunacy kiss today!
  18. Just stopping in to say Hi and bye. I'm going to be in Florida next week with no computer and prob won't be online again til 2/13. And by then, this hostage crisis should be over and we'll get back to the more interesting stuff. Hope Tracy & Scott get a decent scene today. Hmmmm...an indecent one would be nice, too.
  19. From wubs today: Luke will realize he almost lost Lulu and want to be a better Dad. He and Tracey have scenes coming up together you won't want to miss the week of the 19th.
  20. Thanks so much for pointing me to this! I'm hoping Kin is reminding everyone that Scott & Tracy have a past because they are going to have some upcoming scenes together. Maybe that's what the fight scene with Luke will be about. http://www.tvguide.com/News-Views/Soaps/QA/default.aspx
  21. I think the writers have to walk a fine line when it comes to Tracy & Luke's relationship. Many L&L fans are unbending and will accept nobody who would take Laura's place. I would rather have this complicated (and real) relationship than see Tracy hated and dragged through the mud by the diehards. BTW, she was stunning yesterday, when she came close to losing it as Luke left, but swallowed her tears back. I actually felt my heart skip. Shirley at GHH2 has some interesting quotes from JI and LC on SD's departure: http://groups.msn.com/GeneralHospitalHappe...Two/ghnews.msnw
  22. Finally, a good day. Can't wait to watch it on my DVR tomorrow morning.
  23. These spoilers sound so sad. I am sorry they are letting SD go, but at least Alan goes out with a bang instead of a whimper, and all the Q's will get a storyline. I remember years ago when the rumor was that Lila and Edward would go down with the PC hotel, then it was changed. I would have preferred to see a classy exit like that for Lila instead of the funeral after she died IRL.
  24. I read the recaps at GHFF. There's a Tracy/Luke scene in the previews for tomorrow!
  25. RealLifeDom - well put - LOL! That's why I can never do chats, either. I only come online at work, and I only get to see my husband for a few hrs each night. Besides, after all day at the comuter, I need evenings off.
