GH: February 2026 Spoilers
I don't want to see Anna's twin Alex. I don't wan to see Anna entwined with Faison/Peter/Nathan/Obrecht plots. I'm okay with Mac having raised Maxie, so Anna being Mac's sister-in-law and Maxie's aunt, but the Scorpio connection to Maxie is my limit -- keep her out of Faison family cr@p. I don't want to see Anna loving or crying about criminals! Anna Devane was my first favorite soap character, back in her first few years. But I only want to see Finola/Anna as a STRONG vibrant intelligent kicka$s woman who fights for what's great. If GH won't do that, then let Finola shine elsewhere.

GH: Actor Taking Leave Of Absence
2/13/26 Serious discussion with Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson (unlike their usual show). One of their few shows I was actually interested in, all the way through. First 14 minutes: Burton talks about why he's taking a leave from GH. Mentions that he was in Seattle for weekend of February 6-8, for a gaming&anime convention (He was on a panel with voice actors from Final Fantasy). He says he'll still do occasional traveling for appearances (and also with Bradford). Then he talks seriously about the grind of the job and feels lucky for the job, but now wants to live life and have time with his family. This is the first 14 minutes. Then Bradford talks briefly about his coming arc with Maxie's return (he didn't say how long but I got impression it's short). Then Bradford talks extensively for about 13 minutes about what it's like to recur on GH, and how there is a legal arrangement on how he is booked each time, and he goes into the detailed specific legalities of how each recurring episode or arc is booked, which I found very interesting. Some things I'd never heard before.

DAYS: February 2026 Discussion Thread
Noel Maxam as co-EP replaced Janet Drucker. Janet announced at the end of March 2025 that she was retiring soon; but, per the articles about some observance or party on-set, her last day was on May 2, 2025. That would put Maxam's full impact officially as co-EP to begin airing in episodes around March-April 2026. That ties in with dates of actors who are coming/going in various spoiler threads (I won't state those names here since this is nonspoiler thread.) However, Maxam has been active at DAYS for a long time as director and seems to have already had input into the show overall. He did an interview August 7, 2025 in which talks about his overall vision/perception of what DAYS is about. He is asked what prop would you steal from the set if you could take anything. He replies "Stefano's ring" and implies that this symbolizes the show (or something like that). This can finally be posted in the nonspoiler area, since that ring started being featured in the past few episodes. The interview was for soaps.sheknows. Their article contains his video interview embedded within it, but you have to disable adblock for the video to appear, and some cannot see it at all. A small part of his interview is summarized in the text of the article. https://soaps.sheknows.com/days-of-our-lives/news/791156/august-preview-executive-producer-noel-maxam-interview/ The part about the ring is * only * on the video. Here's a copy of the full video, to hear what he actually says about the ring: Noel Maxam August 7, 2025 https://ia601702.us.archive.org/28/items/15d-4s-5f-7w/15d4s5f7w.mp4

The Politics Thread
from The Guardian's live politics blog Feb. 13, 2026 Regarding the funding debate in Congress: A reminder that while the crux of this funding battle is about implementing further guardrails on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP), federal immigration enforcement has already received a 75 billion dollar cash infusion, thanks to the Donald Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) that he signed into law last year. This means those key agencies are likely to be unaffected by the looming shutdown.

The Politics Thread
More from The Guardian's live politics blog Feb. 13, 2026 US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) expects to spend an estimated 38.3 billion dollars on a plan to acquire warehouses across the country and retrofit them into new immigration detention centers with capacity for tens of thousands of detainees, according to documents the agency sent to the governor of New Hampshire. The documents, published on the state’s website yesterday, disclose that the Department of Homeland Security estimates it will spend 158 million dollars retrofitting a new detention facility in Merrimack, plus an additional estimated 146 million dollars to operate the facility in the first three years. BTG: February 2026 Spoilers
Some of the tv listings websites forget to adjust the episode numbers when there's a preemption or repeat. They just keep listing the next episode numbers sequentially (or randomly). So they can be off by a few episode numbers sometimes. Earlier today, ontvtonight was listing episode 150 for Feb. 16, without further info, so I assumed it was really that, which has original airdate October 14; so I posted info about the Oct. 14 episode. (lesson for me: never assume) But now ontvtonight is listing the original airdate and description for the Sept. 24 episode, but still calling it episode 150. But Sept. 24 is actually episode 136. I'm just going to acknowledge here the obvious -- that I know nothing!

Well, I had posted that Monday Feb. 16 is a repeat, and specified which one it was. I got it from the tvlistings at ontvtonight. But I just noticed that ontvtonight still lists it as a repeat, but gives an entirely different episode. I have now deleted what I wrote upthread. I clearly posted the wrong information. I apologize!- BTG: February 2026 Spoilers

They had the set-up with Liam Selejko being likely related to Ivy Selejko who once dated Mike Horton. Ivy had brothers and her father on the show, too. A theoretically possible scenario where Jeremy and Liam could be half-brothers or cousins? I wonder what happened. Will Michael Roark return later on?- DAYS: Actor already exiting!

From Deidre's instagram November 8, 2025 https://www.instagram.com/p/DQz1nXaEqD0/ Autumn Gedron leaves as Charlotte Feb. 2026. A recast Charlotte will eventually appear. Alice Halsey exited as Rachel because she got cast as Laura Ingalls on reboot of Little House on the Prairie. A recast Rachel will eventually appear. The front row of this photo shows the two recast girls, but I don't know the actresses' names. Nu Arianna Horton is (possibly) played by Sydney Malakeh, but I don't know when she debuts. CLARIFICATION, she might be playing Sydney DiMera instead? I don't know if Sydney DiMera is cast or not. NOTE: Malakeh's casting is UNCONFIRMED in a specific role. There is an actress standing on the far left, in front of Dan and next to Lauren Koslow. That MIGHT BE actress, Vico Escorcia. She is perhaps playing nuArianna (or nuSydney). To clarify, one of these actresses is nuArianna but I'm not sure. NuChad (Conner Floyd) is behind Martha Madison in this photo. (for anyone curious about the woman between Deidre and Ken -- that's Ken's daughter Kimberly Corday. He sometimes brings her to publicity events.)- DAYS: February 2026 Spoilers
