  1. Not done that way in the USA either. In the USA, the only place legal appointments are done in public restaurants is fictitious -- and that's on Y&R !!!! It's an awful thing that many of us Y&R viewers constantly complain about, that Y&R has legal meetings and business executive negotiations in public restaurants. We know that's because Y&R has limited sets. But BTG has tons of sets, so it doesn't make sense at all.
  2. Interviews and clips from the World Championships in Boston, late March 2025, in tribute to all the skaters from everywhere, who were lost in the January 2025 plane crash. Especially poignant locally as some of those who died were members of the Boston Skating Club. One of the speakers in Boston is a man who lost his wife (a coach) and child (a skating student/competitor) in the crash. He is there to honor them. Also interviewed in Boston is Maxim Naumov whose parents were both champions&coaches who died (as noted a few posts up from here). Maxim says he intends to carry on his parents' legacy by mentoring young skaters.
  3. Whoops, the pages from the Politics Thread are #3027, 3028, and 3029.
  4. Some of the skaters who died in the crash were from Washington DC, some were from Russia, and some were from Boston; and also from Korea who had become U.S. citizens. Adults and children, coaches and students. They were returning from a skating camp in Kansas when the plane crashed. Also on the plane were other victims from around the world who weren't skaters. The non-skater passengers were from USA, Philippines, China, and more, and of multiple ethnicities. Some of the victims (skaters and others) were listed here: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/jan/30/dc-plane-crash-victims Here's another clip from the March 2 "Legacy on Ice" tribute event in D.C. The group skates to John Lennon's "Imagine" and then a moment of silence. It seems fitting, since the skaters and other passengers were international.

  6. I always felt that Brady *should* call Marlena "mom". She raised him (ignoring the missing SORAS years which don't count for any soap kid). He has called her mom on occasional poignant moments through the years. I think it should be always, but I am grateful when it does happen. I actually love the way Brady referred to Mom and Dad here, as he should
  7. In the above video from the March 2 "Legacy on Ice" event, Maxim Naumov is skating to honor his parents, the 1994 pairs world champions Vadim Naumov and Evgenia Shishkova, who had competed for Russia and had relocated to Massachusetts. His parents became skating coaches and died in the crash, and he's skating to their favorite song to honor them. --- Here is the full event.. it's over two hours so I'll just link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDeUdkxzQ14
  8. Tribute to the skaters lost in the January 2025 plane crash. March 2, 2025 in Washington DC
  9. We posted some about the January 2025 plane crash in the Politics Thread (since it had become a political issue). In the process of posting about that, we discussed the skaters and honored them. It starts on page 3026 of the politics thread here: https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/28724-the-politics-thread/page/3026/#comment-1989616 And it's also mentioned on the pages 3027 and 3028 of that thread. To be honest, I had forgotten this skating thread existed. Then a couple of days ago, I saw a clip of Ilia Malinin winning the World championship in March 2025, and remembered this thread, and thought to post his winning freeskate video here. Thank you for mentioning the plane crash here on the skating thread. There was a tribute event called Legacy on Ice, held in Washington DC on March 2, 2025, to honor the skaters that were lost. https://www.usfigureskating.org/event/legacy-ice ineup: Jeremy Abbott, Sofia Bezkorovainaya, Brian Boitano, Emily Bratti and Ian Somerville, Jason Brown, Ashley Cain, Christina Carreira and Anthony Ponomarenko, Kitty and Peter Carruthers, Molly Cesanek and Yehor Yehorov, Nathan Chen, Madison Chock and Evan Bates, Richard Dwyer, Alisa Efimova and Misha Mitrofanov, Sarah Everhardt, Peggy Fleming, Amber Glenn, Gracie Gold, Scott Hamilton, Nancy Kerrigan, Ilia Kulik, Isabeau Levito, Alysa Liu, Jimmy Ma, Ilia Malinin, Katie McBeath and Daniil Parkman, Yebin Mok, Maxim Naumov, Camden Pulkinen, Andrew Torgashev, Michael Weiss, Johnny Weir, Paul Wylie There was also a big tribute to the lost skaters-- at the World Championships in March 2025, because the Worlds were held in Boston, home of some of the skaters. I'll try to find those clips.
  10. Thank goodness for Brady. He never should have been with him.
  11. As posted abovethread from SOD, describing April 1st episode: Carly’s day starts out with her young daughter, Donna, and Felicia, who works at the hospital as a patient advocate and was close friends with Carly’s late mother, Bobbie Spencer. “Donna wants to go see the [memorial] wall, the wall of people who have passed away who made General Hospital so special,” Wright explains. “And then Felicia let’s Carly know, ‘We’re celebrating 62 years [since the hospital’s founding].’ ” Carly, Felicia and Donna then lovingly remember Bobbie, who passed away last year. This screencap from the promo from week of March 31st must be that scene:
  12. There's a picture of Lucas and Jason on page 6 of this thread but I don't know what date that airs -- just sometime week of March 31 - April 5. As I posted earlier in this thread: When the cast photo appeared in Variety, for the April 1st GH anniversary episode of the Monica Quartermaine Cardiac Wing dedication, I wondered why Head Nurse Elizabeth and Dr. Lucas Jones weren't in the cast photo with the other hospital staff. Especially since Lucas' parents are both on the memorial wall. But now we know that Elizabeth was in the car accident, which aired in Eastern Time around the time when (or shortly after) the Variety article was published, and hadn't yet aired in other time zones. So of course Elizabeth and Lucas will be in the April 1st episode, but they didn't reveal the accident at publication time so that wasn't in the Variety article, so no pics of the hospital emergency room in that article. Update: Now we know that in the March 31 episode, Lucky was at the car accident scene and saw that Elizabeth was a passenger in the crashed car, and then he came to the hospital with Elizabeth. Lucas is treating Ric; and Isaiah is treating Elizabeth. Elizabeth needs surgery on her broken leg. So a lot of the characters are at the hospital in special April 1st anniversary episode, but not all at the dedication ceremony for the new Monica Quartermaine cardiac wing. I don't know about Lulu, if she's in the April 1st episode or not. She hasn't been mentioned.
  13. Yeah I don't think there's a mother. Perhaps Joey has learned that Vanessa does hookups at real estate homes, and he might join in, or blackmail her, or whatever. Or, perhaps he wants a fancy home to set up for laundering his criminal activities. Or he's just messing with Vanessa because he wants to control her finances. Or all of the above.
  14. Additional articles, videos, and photos for the special April 1st GH episode are on the GH March 2025 spoilers thread, on pages 4, 5, and 6 of that thread, starting here: https://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/68281-gh-march-2025-spoilers/page/4/ Several of us have added items there.
  15. U/5 man used to possibly represent John Black's body, or maybe someone with that appearance: (March 31st episode) Per SOD: Allan Wayne Anderson (Silver-Haired Man): The mysterious character will appear in scenes at Orpheus’s compound. https://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/comings-and-goings-the-latest-cast-changes-as-of-march-31/ imdb photo: From the actor's instagram - he says "When 2 days on set turned into 3 months of a dream job. 20. Re: your objection to the character name "Joey", saying it's not a name for a grown man. What? Plenty of grown men have nicknames that they use regularly. Maybe his father was known as Joseph or Joe, so he uses Joey to differentiate? Or he wants to sound friendly even though he's not. Furthermore, many mobsters have nicknames. That's the vibe I'm getting from this .... https://www.npr.org/2018/06/26/623268051/cadillac-frank-ice-pick-willie-and-the-nicknames-of-american-mobsters
  21. https://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/gh-exclusive-laura-wright-carly-previews-very-emotional-62nd-anniversay-episode/ Thank you for posting this article, too. I usually don't care about Carly or Sonny; but I liked reading this part of the interview: Quote: This one honors Leslie Charleson, so that’s special,” she points out. “And I get to work with people that I don’t usually work with on an everyday basis, because they sprinkle in different people from the cast together. There are a couple of scenes where everyone’s together, and that definitely feels special.” Carly’s day starts out with her young daughter, Donna, and Felicia, who works at the hospital as a patient advocate and was close friends with Carly’s late mother, Bobbie Spencer. Later, Carly meets up with her former hubby, Sonny. “When Carly and Sonny run into each other, Carly’s in the chapel,” the actress reports. “And they talk about, ‘Wow, it’s been a long time [since we’ve been coming here],’ and Carly says that she doesn’t think of loss when she thinks of General Hospital. She thinks of all the nurses and doctors and her mom and how they’ve taken care of so many people. So, it’s very emotional and I think just kind of perfect. It’s a bittersweet thing for Carly in that moment. I think that a hospital would be, especially a hospital chapel. It’s a place where people are healed and there’s so much great success, but there are also people who find themselves in the chapel to pray that the people they love make it. They kind of talk about that.” End quotes.

As usual the TV Insider article contains some of the same info as the corresponding TVGuide print magazine article posted earlier., but, as usual tvinsider.com has additional info and pics that the print magazine didn't have.
