This gambling storyline is poorly done. The Doug McBride actor is rather dull.

I think it's healthy (for me) to want the good guys and good gals to win. Not goody-two-shoes characters, but flawed deep characters who actually care. That is what uplifts and entertains *me*.

That's why I watch only selected scenes in other soaps, where I know I won't see the "regularly-on-canvas" villains. Currently watching BTG in full, but that may change if villains become normalized.

I know but. I need villains to pay consequences. Especially with all the unpunished villainy in real world politics/government nowadays, I need my soaps to have the escape/entertainment of the villain getting punished. I watch SVU because the villains are caught and punished. I don't want to watch soaps that have villains be part of the regular canvas. I just don't. Doesn't matter how great the actor is. I can admire the actor but hate the villain. Both things can be true.

On New York's channel I'm seeing the BTG promo airing in one part of the screen while the B&B credits roll at the same time. Then commercial break. Then BTG starts.

I wonder about Bill - maybe it was random that he chose to take Hayley to the country club for lunch today. Or did he hear through the grapevine that Dani was being removed from the board today, and he arranged for Hayley to witness it? Or did Bill intentionally blackmail/bribe/push the lady to remove Dani from the board?

In fictional crime dramas, behavioral analysis, fbi most wanted, etc etc, (not a source of accuracy, but whatever), I have learned that the criminal's behavior is ramped up when a recent event triggers a memory of an old event, just as you suggested.

I saw Dr. Flannery pointing out to Ashley that she made a clerical error on someone's chart with the decimal point noted incorrectly, but I didn't see him mention potassium in relation to Ashley's error. Did I miss something?
