At first, I thought it was Body&Soul that got Ron fired, especially after what Dee said to Michael Fairman, but now I'm not so sure lol. This is speculation on my part, but I can't help but think that there were other factors at play in Ron's final months. The whole thing about EJ ordering Fake Rafe to not sleep with Jada and Leo not harassing Doug III seems un-Ron like to me, like somebody instructed him to not include that in his storylines. Plus, he was clearly not happy with a lot of what was written during the strike. And we all know how he gets when things don't go his way. I could imagine that there was some backstage conflict that ultimately led to him finally being fired. As for the rushed way Body&Soul ended, that had Jamey Giddens written all over it, so I'm not convinced that anybody at Peacock mandated them to wrap it up. Wednesday was basically a retread of the poison biscuit thing, which was also something big that was rushed and wrapped up in one episode. I can see him doing that again. He has no sense of plotting and pacing or how to get a story to successfully reach its climax. Also, everything being all fine with Johnny and Chanel was just like how everything became all fine with Li and Gabi after the biscuit thing.

This Fake Rafe/EJ’s revenge stuff is so clunky. And messy, but not in a good way. The only bright spot of all this is EJ and Belle’s relationship and the effect that this could have on it and everybody around them. I don’t think it makes all of this worth it though lol but I’m looking forward to seeing what’s going to happen for them. Btw, am I the only one who thought that Belle was a bit of a dick today? As for the Brady/Kristen/Ava/Aremid thing, I guess the cliffhanger was good but I’m just tired of this storyline and the historical rewrites, in general. Plus, it feels weird to have them delve into Kristen’s past and not have Eileen Davidson be playing her. Kristen needs a reset, or just write her and her awful kid out. Now, is definitely a good time to do so, especially if they’re not gonna do anything different with her character. I also think now would be a good time to bring Tripp back too 😂

Well, maybe if somebody (I won’t say who) hadn’t completely rewritten the story, ALM would have been used more effectively 😂😂 That all sounds pretty good 👍 It could be a great, messy umbrella storyline that could play out for so long. I sort of got the impression that they were hinting that something may happen between Xander and Stephanie, back when she was doing PR for Philip and when her and Sarah were suddenly such good friends. But now that’s she back with Alex, who knows? I’m worried that pairing is gonna ruin her even more. I’d be down for a Philip/Sarah affair too. But Alex definitely needs to be brought back into the Kiriakis family storylines. My hatred of B&S aside, it was a huge mistake to completely remove him from everything after he found out he wasn’t Victor’s son. I accuse him 😂😂😂

From the very beginning, today was a vast improvement over that pathetic excuse for an episode that we got yesterday. The script and breakdown were clearly in the hands of an actual writer. There’s still some work to do lol but overall, I enjoyed today. Despite there still being some Body&Soul, it was at a minimum and it was sidelined by actual storylines that could be really good if they’re written correctly, particularly this Xander/Sarah/Philip/Stephanie/Alex/Joy situation. And although I have mixed feelings about another possible Kiriakis/Dimera war, I would kinda like to see how it would play out, and how characters like Alex, who’s still being written incorrectly, would be handled under the new head writers. The character would work much better as a villain, not this hero/good guy/romantic lead that they keep trying to make him. He did look hot though. And Philip looked hot too… until he made another stupid face 😂😂 And agreed, with whoever said that this all hopefully leads to Joy becoming a villain/vixen. It’s definitely something that the character needs, especially with the way that today ended. The Cat/Felicity scenes were nice too. And we got an update about Mark. As for Cat/Chad, the way their storyline began was a big mistake but just like with the Kiriakises, I would kinda like to see what would happen for them under the new writers. And again, Chad/Julie 😊😊😊 They work so well together, like Bo and Alice just without all the adventure lol I really hope SSH submits some of these scenes for an Emmy. Anything is better than having her just become Alex’s little woman, like Ciara became Ben’s.

Too soon to make any judgments about Carly and NuBrennan, but I did like Lucas being there for his sister today. It's time for Lucas to get his own storyline though. I was loving Lucky/Liz/Ric too. They really need to push this storyline because it's one of the best on the show right now. I'm so interested in seeing where the three of them are gonna go from here, and after all this Cyrus stuff ends. And yeah, they still want us to hate Drew and Willow. And it's still working lol but I do love how we have to hate Willow for what she did/doing but when an even worse character did the exact same thing, we had to love her for it 🖕 And Tracy, FTW! This is how she always should be written.

Sorry about that. I was so annoyed with today, it must've just gone right over my head 😂 Another thing that I hated. The climax of that Lady Whistleblower garbage was dragged out for a week, but the story arc of multiple characters supposedly being near death was over and done with in one episode. Ridiculous.

And this is why I was worried about BTG. So many people are like, "Oh, he's just a breakdown writer" but yeah, so is Jamey 🤮 I could totally see him purposely writing Mike Manning's character and just the female characters in general, as nastier or un-rootable in episodes that he works on.

Idk. I'm glad they're all having fun, but I still feel that they deserve better than to be treated like big jokes by two guys who have more problems than a friggin math book.

Honestly, part of me thinks someone should send today's episode to Michele Val Jean and whoever else at BTG, just for them to see what they hired.

Fair warning, y’all. Today was horrible. I’m not even exaggerating when I say this was one of the worst episodes I’ve ever seen. The only reason I’d say don’t skip it would be just to see how awful it was. And today must have been a Jamey episode too, so of course, that’s just makes a bad situation even worse. The huge soap opera fan who doesn’t know jackshit about what soap opera is 🖕🖕 With the way that Abe’s been written lately and how Seth Burns was written today, maybe he’s projecting his own issues just as much as Ron does. Sorry to say it, but not only do both of these clowns deserve to be run out of this business on a rail but they need to get their asses beat too. They are seriously one of the worst, if not, the worst team in Soap history and thank God somebody finally broke them up.

Don't let him win! He wants us to quit watching 😂😂😂 But if you do, I'll give you the signal whenever there's something worth seeing 😉 I could've gotten behind it if it hadn't been so forced... and so slanted in favor of Alex. They didn't even need to drop the family connection either, IMO. All it would've taken was a simple throwaway line that Alex had always had a crush on Stephanie, even when they were kids. And this would've been the first time that she actually returned his feelings. Because nothing bad can happen to precious Leo 🤮🤮

A complete Body&Soul day. Episodes like today are the reason why the idea of Ron attempting a suicide mission still hasn’t left my mind because I don’t see how any person can think this is good. Hopefully, somebody at BTG is watching him like a hawk. And hopefully, the new writers at Days are watching Jamey Giddens just as much. Stephanie quitting her job to be with Alex is pathetic and makes her character look weak and dumb. And her excuses were all bullshit. I’d rather she go back to Philip. Johnny and Chanel’s problems being all wrapped up in a nice, neat little bow shows how pointless that all was too. They’re another example of Days setting up a possible good storyline for a character but then rushing it in favor of something else that’s not as good. And of course, the cancer of Days had to make an appearance as well 🤮🤮🤮 And yeah, poor Abe and Kate and Kayla.
