Yeah, that hitwoman really was the worst hitwoman ever. How the hell did she not have a passcode on her phone? 😂😂😂 Harris/Ava going on the run seems kind of stupid. There has to be another way to bring them together then this. I liked EJ encouraging Johnny to not give up on Chanel. It really was just what he needed. I have mixed feelings about Johnny backing down again though. He should be fighting for Chanel and more determined to get her back. If he’s reluctant to do so because of all the other triangles he’s lost, he needs to talk about that more instead of just a throwaway line to someone, here and there. I wouldn’t mind him becoming more of a bad boy either. Btw, WTG, Tripp 👍😂😂 Now that that’s finally happened, it’s time for some conflict lol maybe from a bad boy Johnny. Tripp and Wendy have pretty much been stuck in a bubble for a while now. This should all be tied together with Johnny/Chanel/Talia and Harris/Ava/EJ/Nicole/Eric/Sloan

I’m glad that Nikolas isn’t suffering from amnesia or something but at the same time, I don’t know if I like him keeping the secret about him being alive and plotting revenge again. As for Sonny, hopefully that disgusting little whore Joss was the one who ratted him out to the FBI. For once, the sudden, random hatred that people give out every time something bad happens to Sonny or Carly would be justified.

Welcome back, Greg! I’m glad to see him back even though I enjoyed Jason Gerhardt’s time as Eric. Maybe they’ll find a way to work Jason into the show again lol I liked Eric defending his cousin, Theresa. It’s always nice seeing family and friends interact even though they’re in different storylines. I could say the same thing about Chloe and Nicole today. I hope the show is able to tie all these storylines together in one big mess. And speaking of Chloe and Nicole, the bad hairstyles came back again lol Nicole almost looked like she was wearing a wig. I’m a little interested in Sloan’s suggestion to Eric at the end of today. That could a pretty good dynamic to their storyline. And, I still think the Harris/Ava stuff seems rushed and random. Hopefully, it’ll play into Nicole and EJ’s storyline at some point. 😁😁😁😃 Didn’t know it was gonna be this soon. And I can’t wait!!! Hopefully, they’ll interact with the one character that they need to interact with 😂😂😂😂

Today was the episode that was uploaded by mistake last week and I’m glad we can finally discuss it. The one thing I was hoping for from the moment we heard that Dick Van Dyke was coming on Days was that he would get a scene with Bill Hayes, and I’m so glad that we got that today I loved their scenes. It was one of the most heartwarming things I’ve seen on Days in a while. The two 97/98 year olds definitely stole the show. Them and Julie singing and dancing together put such a big smile on my face. Goes to show you how good Days can be when everybody puts a little heart into it. As for the reveal about Dick Van Dyke’s character and what it may mean, I’m actually not against it but at the same time, do they really need to do this again? I liked seeing Theresa back as well. She and Brady were good together. And if this get Brady out of this endless loop with Kristen, I’m all for it. I just wish that spoiler that we heard about who’s playing Theresa wasn’t true. Still have mixed feelings about EJ’s sudden random revenge though. This should have been the storyline from the very beginning or they should have held off until he finds out that he’s not the father of Nicole’s baby, that way this darker turn for EJ would make a lot more sense. As for Ava, I think we all figured that that reveal was gonna happen sooner or later as well, even though I wish it hadn’t happened. Her scenes were the weakest part of todays episode, but yeah, I thought Harris was looking pretty good 😍😂 @j swift Joey Kiriakis was named after Jo as well.

Idk those final years of AW seemed like a really sketchy time. So much interference, so much back and forth with NBC and P&G, that maybe even one of the greats that you mentioned may have had just as much of a difficult time as Malone did.

That New Orleans/Oak Alley shoot was great for Days. And, poor AW, not even Julia’s murder and the mystery of Donna being Marley’s mother did anything for them. People seemed to have been getting tired of Santa Barbara as well.

All these blunders seem to be all part of an even bigger problem that AW had post-Lemay/Rauch. There was never a lot of investment in some characters. So many characters were put through so much and then a new writer/producer came on, they either completely changed them or sent them packing.

I think you can still catch episodes (not in the best condition) on YouTube before copyright takes them down.

I think this is the latest version He was born John Robicheaux during the Korean War. His mother had been told that his father had been killed in action. And she couldn’t afford to raise him on her own, so she put him in an orphanage where he was adopted by the Alamains and they named him Forrest. Turned out the father was alive and had become a Communist determined to hurt the West or something lol and took the name Yo Ling. As part of the plan, he started the school for assassins. Eventually, he found out his son was Forrest Alamain and him and the school paid or forced the Alamains to give them custody of John. So, the Alamains faked John’s death in the swimming pool and sent him off to the school. John ended up being the best student. One of the employees at the school was Petrov. Eventually, Petrov left the school to go work for Stefano and took John with him. John also went to work for Stefano, first as a ruthless mercenary, then as an art thief disguised as a priest. And then finally, brainwashed into being Roman 😂😂

Today was an improvement over yesterday. Just the storylines themselves made this episode better. Clearly, yesterday’s main storyline is a failure on every level. Welcome to Salem, Dick Van Dyke! It’s so great to see him working again. He really is a national treasure. And I actually enjoyed the little *wink**wink* to Mary Poppins too. I have mixed feelings about what his storyline may turn out to be. I don’t necessarily hate it, but it’s been done before, so many times already. Can’t wait to see Monday’s episode again 😂😂 For the first time in a while, I actually found Abe’s storyline interesting as well. His reaction today to Paulina and the date that they had just seems so natural and organic considering everything he’s been through. I do wish we could have seen their date though. I also really liked the ending of today as well. Despite the casting rumors, I think this could be a really good storyline for Brady and everyone around him. Kristen and her demon spawn still can just go away 🖕😂😂

That could have been really good, but by that point, I think Margaret DePriest was pretty much done with Bill and Susan. They didn't even get a proper exit. For pretty much their entire last episode, they were secondary characters in Liz's storyline
