  1. Yesterday afternoon I restarted L.A. Law Season 7 where I left off. Now I'm about to be on Episode 16 of the season (if it's available) I have thoughts...
  2. If this was MAB tenure Amanda's grandfather would probably be played by Ernie Hudson. If they got Keith David I would hope they would use it as free publicity to promote coming onto the series. But for the entire show as a whole too.
  3. While On YouTube bmuz posted these following episodes from 1986.
  4. I guess it could be worse. It could be the last few years of Guiding Light where wealthy characters were hanging out in gas stations and renovating houses in rural Springfield.
  5. Scott Holroyd (ex-Paul ATWT)was on an episode of MacGyver last night.
  6. Keith David would be a huge-get for this show. With this expansion of Television City hopefully we'll get better sets again. Though I wouldn't hold my breath. It's sad that YR has the worst sets out of the four remaining soaps. If you would've told me that five years ago I would've laughed. I take it Amanda/Hilary's bio family our supposed to be a mix of the Kennedy's, Obama's, and the Harrison's from Another World.
  7. I thought it would be fun and insightful topic about in your opinion or what you've heard about writers not necessarily capturing the particular essence of a certain character past or present regimes were able to capture. i.e. I heard Claire Labine didn't get Sean & Tiffany and that's why in a year and a half she got there they were essentially off the canvas. So who were the characters and writers that didn't mesh well?
  8. When Paul was on I wanted him to have a few scenes with Nate since he and his father Nathan were best friends and worked together as Private Investigators back in the day too. He could've be an unlikely ally of Nate when the whole Elena/Devon/Nate triangle first occurred. Also recalling how his father's affair with Keesha Monroe had affected everyone in his circle including Nate himself.
  9. That's the elephant in the room between Jack & Sally. As I said on Twitter yesterday Sally was a kid when Shemar Moore was hosting Soul Train. While Jack was a grown man when Soul Train premiered with Don Cornelius as the host.
  10. A problem with this show in the words of Elvis Presley - A little less conversation a little more action,

She was the first to champion socially relevant topics, and the towns and characters Agnes brought to life leave an indelible imprint on television that will be remembered forever.” Throughout her career Agnes Nixon won five Writers’ Guild of America Awards, five Daytime Emmy Awards, a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in 2010 and was inducted into Soap Opera Weekly’s Soap Opera Hall of Fame.
  13. Because they constantly wrote him like an idiot?
  14. Why you don't like Overton? ( I think I can imagine why though)
  15. 'Guiding Light' Episode Entered into National Recording Registry - Daytime Confidential
  16. I couldn't said it better myself!!!
  17. They wasted that teen scene so badly... Reed was for paying for porn online like it was 2003...
  18. I forgot about her. How do you think she would've done with writing characters like Lisa? Bob? John? I'm struggling to see how she would write for the latter two. Although Pam Long was known for writing her male characters well for the most part.
  19. I'm ready for the teens to get at least more adult material then they're currently getting at the moment.
  20. I'm not sure how Pam would've written Duncan and Jessica? I could see her bringing in Shannon in earlier. She probably would've have had a better hold on The Snyder's too. And for the Hughes something tells me she would've done well for Kim and Nancy for some reason. I could also see her possibly bringing on a recast Frannie.
