Just seeing Brooke in these early episodes, you saw a hard working college student.  She loved her mom, brother and sisters...and helped out while dating a nice guy.

I always viewed Theresa on Passions to be like Brooke without the more complex writing of the early years

I always wished they would've continued with Theresa's passion for design which she had early on when she was sketching wedding dresses etc., I would've loved for her to start her own business that somehow the Cranes would've messed with.

Christopher Sean was  basically an extra on You. I was shocked when we reached the final episode and they gave his character and wife an ending, considering they were so far in the background the entire time. I'm happy he got the role, I'm sure he got paid well, but he deserves better. It's a shame because I feel his being Asian is probably what holds him back. I see no reason why they couldn't have utilized him better.

I kept seeing his name in the credits all weekend and I was like "Where is he?"

  3. I wish they would've had Leslie at least mention her son Brooks or her sisters. i.e. Lorie is finally writing dad's life story. Or Lorie, Peggy, Trish and I finally met our nephew Theo. Brooks is running Prentiss Industries in San Francisco.

Give me something other than her playing the piano and bonding with characters with no connection to her. Though I did like her accompanying Tessa on the piano.

  4. With Classic episodes of Emmerdale showing on ITV3 for the past few years now. I'm constantly reminded on Twitter that Malandra Burrows who played the long-running Kathy Bates Merrick Tate Glover Brookman also became a recording artist whose biggest hit "Just This Side of Love" reached # 11 on the UK Singles Chart. She even performed it on Emmerdale in this clip below.

As well as played in the scene with her character in the helicopter with her new groom Chris Tate in the following year too.

That clip has some pretty strong DAYS "John and Brady fight the entire town at Maggie's restaurant" energy.

The part where they're like 'no no, don't bring in the baby!' makes it even more hilarious.

I expected Alex and Roger to finish off with a sword duel i.e. Peter Pan and Captain Hook.

  6. Just saw on Twitter that Alan is doing a SFT virtual reunion this time with 🥁

She could also have been thinking that having Martha reprise the role would have freed up some time for her, that she could've spent auditioning for new roles, since the series was all but over at that point. It would've been a win for her as well.

I think Casey had decided to go to law school at the last minute, which made little sense, given his academic trajectory and the interests he had in music and hospitality. I could have seen him becoming an entrepreneur in the mold of his grandmother, maybe even apprenticing to one day take over a few of her businesses. That would be an aspect of generational continuity.

I don't mind Parker becoming a cop but couldn't they have had written a more 21st century take on it? Maybe a forensic pathologist or forensic detective? CSI was such a huge hit for CBS back then, I'm surprised they didn't try to incorporate any of that shine.

Did Andy ever return? Since Kim actually owned the house (if you remember Bob moved into her house after they married), it should have been handed over to Andy and Chris and Andy could have taken ownership of the house. Maybe he and Denise agreed that while she builds up her dance studio, he would take over custodial parent duties with Hope. To see Andy with his teenage daughter in tow, interacting with her grandparents could have been good. Even better if Hope were interested in medicine. Oh boy, the future clashes between Andy and his father over that one!

Sadly Andy never appeared before for the finale. I wish they would've tried to at least get Scott DeFreitas for the last few months even on recurring. What else did they have to lose? We could've gotten a mention that Hope would be attending Oakdale University and is interested in studying Pre-Med which would excite John.

I remember a scene at Memorial with Kim and John mentioning Andy in which Reid found out that John and Kim were once married with a grown son. Also, if I recall they mentioned Margo was going to surprise Bob and Kim with Andy at their anniversary party. But Hope had got sick and he stayed to care for her.
