  1. Totally get that - Season 3 annoyed me, especially with Heather and her black eye. Did you end up liking Angie this past season? I was very much on the fence with her until this past season and she won me over finally.
  2. Mike Manning is not that bad of an actor! I remember watching him on The Real World DC long ago, when he was struggling with being bisexual and coming out. I never realized he got into acting, so this is my first show seeing him in and he's improving and doing well.
  3. Not Kat setting up cameras to catch Eva!!! Wow.
  4. Sara Bibel day - she was always one of my favorites on AMC. Hope we have a good episode. Already love Naomi/Hayley... this scene was needed weeks ago.
  5. 100% You dropped SLC? I was also mad the way they treated Monica and didn't let her back, but this past season was SOOO good. I also still love OC, but I don't mind Tamra as much as most people do. I'm ready for Miami to return.
  6. This part. I'm new to GL, so I didn't see Reva/Josh in the 80's when they were a couple, and if I had, maybe her return in 1995 that I'm currently watching would change my mind... but right now, this ghost Reva is off-putting. The story doesn't even really make sense, but the way she's talking to Josh about Annie is annoying. I was really getting into the Josh/Annie pairing, and now Reva is haunting Josh, turning him into a loud crazy man, and they're both being rude to Annie. Reva is pulling rugs from under her, making her trip, throwing water on her and telling Josh she's no good for him and their relationship is 'on the road to nowhere'. I was so excited knowing Reva's return would start during my '95 watch, but so far, I'm not loving it 😕 I'll hold final judgment until I see how it plays how and whether they explain how she's haunting him while still being alive.
  7. I never know how to embed anything, but Boz is backtracking and posted an IG message to Garcelle, thanking her and wishing her well. A little too late IMO... https://entertainmentnow.com/real-housewives/bozoma-saint-john-note-to-garcelle/
  8. Well happy belated birthday! Haha I was the same way though, I would get so excited to come home and watch the taped episode from the day. Or in the summer when I was home alone, I would watch and then pretend I hadn't already watched it when mom came home to watch after work. It was awful on the days when a storm would roll through and the power goes out, or the tape runs out and you miss the last few minutes... or when you're grounded and you can't watch a few days because your parents were so awful That happened to me once during the Ted/Tad storyline when they were out in the wilderness and Dixie was caught up in the flowing river and he had to rescue her (or vice versa). I was SO mad, but I snuck out of my room to at least listen to what was happening while they watched. Thankfully I never got caught.
  9. Great memory! So yes, the Christmas miracle and looking up at the angel, man I was right haha. I can envision that scene perfectly now that you confirmed it and reminded me of the angel. We must be near the same age (I'm 41). My grandma and mother both watched AMC religiously, so I grew up with it at home and just fell in love with it. Even my dad hate-watched it with us every night with dinner. He never wanted to admit it, and would always talk about how AMC was on the TV, but then ask 'what happened to this character' - he was invested But I think when you start watching soaps as a teenager, you find that you'll always hold that era in high regard. We're so impressionable at that age and it just really sticks to you as you learn things about life and grow up.
  10. I am too. I'm trying to figure out if it was the episode I watched recently where he's in the streets talking to the citizens of Springfield to encourage them about rebuilding 5th Street, just prior to the Ball. Or if it's another scene being referred to. I question it because I don't remember him being on a rooftop, but more of a podium, but he was long-winded and sort of just rambling hahaha, but you see older extras out there tearing up and getting motivated. Otherwise, the only rooftop yelling scene I've witnessed so far in my current 1995 watch is Fletcher yelling from the roof at the Ball, declaring his love for Holly to everyone below. In typical Fletcher fashion, it was so over the top and ridiculous haha.
  11. LOL that Kandi gif is perfect here. I love Kat and Chelsea's relationship. So clearly Dani has two huge holes in her life - her husband and her old successful modeling career, and now she feels like she has nothing. The drinking will make her hit rock bottom and hopefully we see her rise above. Curious to see how the Nicole/Dani conversation goes tomorrow.
  12. Oh YES! The car crash - you're right. Thanks
  13. That sparked a memory... do y'all remember when Kate left and the NuNatalie came in? I think there was a house fire, if I remember correctly, and she was blind for awhile and then regained her sight (a Christmas miracle! - right?). But, she left soon after that I think... I guess she ended up dying, I can't quite remember how? Hard shoes to fill and the actress just wasn't able to do so.
  14. What!!! Annie in real life is 27 years old (in 1995 where I'm watching)?!? Robert Newman is 37... my mind is blown. I need to go find how old the actresses that play Lucy and Bridgett are, because they seem more like 27 to me and Annie feels like 37-40. I know this is a mind game with age, and people in the 90s looked older than they really are given the hair styles back then (like Vanessa seems much older to me than she probably is at the time - I need to go Google it). I just can't believe the actress playing Annie was 27 at that time, and I'm seeing characters like Lucy, Bridget, Dinah who seem more like that age. I'm 100% shocked. My mind is blown - the actresses playing Lucy and Bridget are a year old than Watros. (Soni and Melissa were born in 1967 and Watros in 1968). Both storyline and look (hairstyle and dress) of these characters do NOT put Lucy/Bridget as older than Annie. My mind is totally blown here.
  15. That warms my heart - love to see it. Also, wow to see where these kids from OLTL landed in life. I haven't thought about or seen them in YEARS, so I love this.
  16. I said the exact same thing today - he's a clown/cartoon character - of course he's going to jail, he's a caricature. 100%
  17. I just came on here to say this too! What a coincidence that we've been talking about this storyline and here Cady comes with a flashback clip from that era! Love that she cherishes those days.
  18. Ahh that is all very interesting. I didn't realize JFP produced SB beforehand and that's how she knew Marcy and brought her into GL. I just saw that JFP left GL in late May '95, which I'm getting close to. Now, with a new EP in June and a new head writer (McT) in July, it makes me curious where some of these stories that started in early '95 were intended to go, and what the new folks changed. Like Brent clearly was a rapist, but I'm guessing McT thought of the Marion story.. was Beaty on contract from the beginning of his time? I wonder what the old EP/writer had intended for Brent Lawrence. Or is there a period of overlap when things like this happen... like clearly Josh/Annie were meant to be a thing, and it started nicely, but if an abrupt decision to bring Reva back was made, then that clearly changed that story arc. The only real meaty storylines happening right now are Brent/Lucy/AM, Reva's return, and Dinah's return and impact on Ross/Blake. The Holly/Fletcher/Roger storyline, 5th Street/Cooper stuff, Vanessa/Matt engagement, and anything else going on is all just easy filler to watch that goes along, but there isn't much meat behind it. I feel like since I started in February '95, I'm seeing the wind down of relationships and storylines - with Nick/Mindy over, Gilly/Sid moving (or so it seems), Eve going away (I saw she passes away soon 😰), Eleni's Greece story resolved and now bland with the new actress, what you mention with Mindy leaving, Tangie leaving, Cutter leaving... I haven't spoiled myself yet on how Mindy goes, but if the actress was wanting to leave, I could see her being a victim of Brent's! He just tried to seduce her at his apartment before she mentioned Lucy's concerns to her, which pissed him off and he asked her to leave... so he could go find Lucy in the thunderstorm and threaten her (which was such a great Friday cliffhanger)!
  19. ^In PEACOCK history, not Bravo... still, good for them!
  20. Oh I didn't even realize it was alphabetical order - good eye! I just knew the first four were the main family members, and I assumed the rest were grouped together based on storyline (like Leslie/Ted, the sisters, etc.)
  21. Better episode today (for me)! Excited to see what Martin's secret really is - I hope they don't drag this out forever.
  22. The lighting on today's show is SO good, in all scenes. I like Bill's office fireplace too.
  23. And I LOVE your new signature and avatar/profile picture
  24. I love me some cocktails/drinks, but I don't know how Dani does this much all the time, from sunrise to sunset! She got a problem... and no one else on the canvas is drinking, so surely there is a storyline about this coming, right?
