  1. On show that had characters named Snapper, Boobsie, Cricket and River I can accept a character named Aristotle.
  2. I 100% agree with all of this.
  3. I enjoy your posts! Keep them coming.
  4. I finished reading whatever you want to call that thing McTavish wrote. Even if everything she said was true every word she wrote was dripping in bitterness and nastiness. It proved to me that everything said and speculated about her was true. But damn I really enjoyed all the tea and shade.
  5. I had the same issue on my Mac but not on my iPhone.
  6. When I have enough patience to deal with Karen I will email her and ask for a refund. Have you chatted with anyone who attended the event? Ricky Paull Goldin seemed to enjoy himself. I have not seen comments from any of the other attendees.
  7. I was not really enjoying the Phyllis /Sharon trapped story but I did like the reveal of who was keeping them captive. I am actually looking forward to seeing how this plays out.
  8. It is unfortunate that the writers eventually lost interest in Kin Shriner. The introduction of Jeb Hampton was well done and he had nice chemistry with Catherine Hickland (Dr. Courtney Marshall). Courtney was also out of that terrible story with grumpy Dr. Kevin Cooke and was interacting with the rest if her family.
  9. Thank you! I finished the interview. It was great to hear how much Caryn Richman enjoyed her time on Texas. I wish the interviewer would have talked less and let her tell more stories about her time in the show. Caryn seems absolutely lovely.
  10. Thank you for these links. I refuse to shop on Amazon so hopefully I can find the book elsewhere. I just started watching the interview.
  11. Never work again or never work again on All My Children?
  12. After a long break I have restarted my Texas rewatch. It was my favourite show when I was 10 years old so it has been interesting seeing it again after 40+ years. I’m on episode 54 and things are falling into place and the Corringtons did a good job setting up 4 interconnected families. I can see why Dawn Marshall, Clipper Curtis, Bart Walker and Princess Jasmine were written out fairly early. It’s too bad Courtney Marshall, Samantha Walker and Terry Dekker did not last for the entire run. With the correct writing and direction they could have been strong female leads.
  13. He is not her cousin. I would never introduce the nephew of my uncle by marriage as my cousin because he would not be.
  14. Maybe Smitty and Martin are not affectionate because Smitty is miserable and unfulfilled being a stay at home dad and Martin is selfish and controlling because his only concern is his political ambitions and having the perfect home life is part of the image he feels is needed. I would not be surprised if Martin instigated the marriage and the adoptions to help with the image. Adopting older children would fulfill this without the work of babies. Regardless I am happy to watch it play out instead of making assumptions.
  15. I believe she was streaming the wedding before Dani went bonkers.
  16. It is also something Bill Bell was famous for.
  17. I only have one complaint so far. Bill wears too many clothes. I hope this gets corrected quickly.
  18. I suspect CBS, P&G and NAACP all have their own representative Executive Producer. I may be wrong. Also, I would not be surprised if Julie Hanna Caruthers and Bob Guza are onboard to get the show up and running and to train a new generation of Atlanta based writers and procedures. At some point I could see them handing the reins over and leaving.
