I just finished episode 336. Sarah shows Dr. Woodard the secret room in the mausoleum that no one will believe David about. There is a WINDOW in the secret room with trees blowing in the wind outside of it. LOL. I guess it was not that secret after all.

Are all of the episodes that have streamed on Peacock still available for viewing on the streamer or do they get removed after a period of time?

Swajeski was limited for sure but I feel that 1989 and 1991 are two of the best years AW had since Harding Lemay left in 1979. Jake's shooting and the returns of Kathleen and Carl and two of my favourite stories. Swajeski aslo created some great characters - Lucas, Frank, Ryan, Grant, Dean, Jenna, Lorna and Paulina and told good love stories - Frankie & Cass, Jenna & Dean, Felicia & Lucas, Paulina & Jake and Vicky & Ryan.

I thought the return of Steve Frame was well written on paper and David Canary did his best but the casting of Alice was an huge issue. Also, soon after Steve returned (on October 13, 1981) L. Virginia Browne was replaced by Corinne Jacker (November 9, 1981). Corinne was a disaster although she did give us Cass Winthrop and Alma Rudder so I will her praise for those creations.

I was wondering that too when she first dropped the papers. Trying to save Alexis from herself. But after watching it all play out I am not so sure now. I hope the sex worker that Jordan and Nina hired ends up dead and Drew is blamed. When in reality it was Ezra who killed her. It would create a big mess and crisis of conscience for Jordan and Nina.

The Red Swan was terrible but it was not the worst story ever told on Another World. I cannot imagine the pressure on the Swajeski and Michael Laibson to quickly pivot and deal with the loss of their leading man who was front and center at the time of his death.

I’m happy that changes to the Abbott mansion were subtle. It looks brighter and more open. Overall I think it looks good. I don’t love all of the furniture choices but I’m a minimalist so my taste would not work in a “mansion”.

I have no doubts that Sue Devaney (Debbie) will do the best work of her career with this dementia story and the viewers and the Webster family will be taken on an emotional roller coaster. But with the soon to be loss of Sue Cleaver and the recent exit of Helen Worth Debbie/Sue is the last person that they should be writing out.

RIP Lar Park Lincoln. Linda Fairgate was the future of Knots Landing. It’s unfortunate TPTB did not see it.

I would not be surprised if Kate Mansi leaves once her contract is up. She joined GH in May 2023 so that could be as soon as next month. Or she stays and they completely reset her character.

Completely agree that those writers are few and far between but that is really about recycling terrible writers and not giving fresh talent training and opportunities. Which I could also go on and on about.

You may find it a tired argument but I disagree. A talented writer with respect for the past could have slowly reintroduced the Matthew's family. Longtime viewers would have been thrilled to see old favourites back and new viewers would have thought of them as new characters. I had no memory of Sharlene or Russ but was very interested in their returns and was curious to learn about their histories. I began watching GH in 1983 after Genie Francis and Jane Elliot were gone. They became favourites of mine once they returned. Same with Marie Master (Susan) on ATWT and Michael Zaslow (Roger) and Maureen Garrett (Holly) on GL.

I loved Robyn as Maggie.

Frankie Frame Paulina Cory Dean Frame I would say that Susan Stewart's return to ATWT was a success and Anna Holbrook's Sharlene Frame was more popular than Laurie Heineman's. Proving that the past can be remembered and honoured with good writing. But it is definitely rare.

I think it was into his brain but his ass may have been Ron’s first choice.
