  1. Theo's return and in particular his reaction to JJ being back on the police force is exactly the type of writing I was hoping for from Jeanne and Paula. Intelligent, emotional, topical and character driven. Hopefully Jeremy's return is just as impactful.
  2. Julie Philips, Jennifer Runyon and Mary Page Keller were able to make Sally work even though the actresses were very different. Taylor Miller could have worked with better writing. Taylor was unhappy at AW so it was inevitable that Sally would be written out. When Sally found out that Catlin had slept with Brittany she and Kevin should have moved away. There was no need to kill off the character.
  3. Wow today's episode was good. I know a lot on here seem to be very unhappy with GH currently but this is the most I have enjoyed it since since Guza's first stint in 1996. Is it perfect? No. But it feels more like the GH I began watching in 1983 than it has in many years.
  4. I really like new Theo. I think his casting is going to prove very successful for Days. I am looking forward to seeing what Liam and new Jeremy bring to the show. I assume Liam's dad is either Snake or Speed. I guess his parent could possibly be Ivy. I am a huge fan of Holly Gagnier so I would be happy to see her make a few appearances.
  5. I completely agree. And I also thought Julie Philips was great as Sally. Should could have been brought back in 1981 and played out the stories given to Jennifer Runyon.
  6. I enjoyed Jennifer Runyon and Mary Page Keller equally as Sally.
  7. Was Sean ever seen onscreen?
  8. Thank you! I will listen to them on my podcast app instead.
  9. I just watched the episode where Justin showed up at the Marshall ranch with movers and announced he was moving in. Ginny and Reena start to beat the crap out of him until Kate stepped in and broke it up. It was hilarious! I am really enjoying Purser and Ratcliffe's writing. It is unfortunate they don't last very long.
  10. The videos are all now hidden for me on YouTube. Does anyone know if this is because I am located in Canada?
  11. Thank you for the reminder. I will watch it tonight.
  12. Who was Nina’s grandchild? edited: Never mind I forgot that Chance was Dominic’s “father”.
  13. While I thought the trial was ridiculous I am happy with how the Who Shot EJ story is wrapping up. I hope this means Kristen will be off the canvas for some time. In my opinion Kristen is a character who should be brought back for arcs to drive story for others and then leave. She should not be a full time character.
  14. I was really hoping to see the Obrecht / West / Westbourne / Reeves / Tait family completely wiped off the canvas and replaced with Hardys / Baldwins / Webbers who worked at the hospital. I guess that ain’t happening. That said I’m surprisingly somewhat enjoying Liesl & Britt’s returns.
  15. Thank you! Your comments are consistent with what I have heard from others who watched from the beginning. Now we just need to find those episodes for the marathon!
  16. I have referred to this site on the web archive. Some great info is still available on it. https://web.archive.org/web/20000823060234/http://lavender.fortunecity.com/casino/403/ There is also this one. https://community.fortunecity.ws/lavender/casino/403/
  17. What I would give to be able to watch May 4, 1964 through December 31, 1979.
  18. Thank you! I often thought this sounded like one of those times Lemay was correct but since I was not watching I could not be sure. Lenore and Robert were brilliant so we were lucky to get to watch them shine and might not have had the opportunity if Walter was still around.
  19. Was anyone on here watching when Val Dufour was on Another World? I’m curious if you think Walter was worth keeping or if you agree with Mr. Lemay that he had been written into a corner and killing him off was the best option.
  20. Yes that was my main reaction. I am aware of how close she was to her mother and her husband. This is your reaction to my comment? Completely overblown and shame on you for trying to say my comment is in anyway disrespectful to the grief Linda had after their deaths and is still living with. If you are looking for an argument go after someone else.
  21. I love Linda Dano but we did not need to see her mother and husband. There were so many others there to put the focus on.
