DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos
Ah, that makes sense, Carl. And thanks so much for all you're sharing. I wish TV Guide had a usable archive, or I was near my old college's library -- Michael Logan had a column talking about the Hayes in a production of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf circa '93. What a night that had to have been. And the one I'd really love to dig up is when a group of L.A. soap actors (SSH, Lynn Herring and a few others) gave their thoughts on Soapdish. I remember them being favorable toward it, but Susan said she would kill to know what Lucci thought!

There was also the "New Age" edition -- (thanks, SayNoToUrSoap!) -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xoYmr7a8Po I rewatched the Mathis version. Not a fan of the music, but the graphics look nice (even in an admittedly poor upload), and really, I'd have loved to see new people get phased in as time went by. Those are caricatures, right?

What I love about that first theme is how with each repetition, the melody becomes more and more majestic. Runner up would be the Osborne theme. In terms of opening graphics, I'd actually give the crown to the Mathis opening.

ALL: They Almost Became
I also wish Oppenheimer had stayed on as Alistair, although hearing that about Katherine Helmond makes me wonder if they considered Robert Mandan. Didn't somebody say Robin Mattson was up for Grace and Faith? Either way, anybody would have done much better than Dana Sparks.

Amen, Carl! And that "St. Kurt" [!@#$%^&*] (Seasons 2-3, in particular) infuriated me to no end.

That sounds incredibly compelling, SayNot! You wouldn't happen to have any of this, would you? No worries if you don't -- the summaries are more than welcome.

That's the late, legendary Ernie Anderson (Paul Thomas Anderson's father). Here he is announcing a cavalcade of stars from 1979. I dare anyone to name 40+ people currently appearing on ABC.

That's excellent, abw! I think it's classy for actors to fulfill autograph requests.
