    I rewatched a clip not long ago of Helena happily explaining to the court how she'd saved Katherine Bell's life - right after Katherine had walked in and crashed Stefan's trial for her murder. The look on Dara's face was priceless.

    Yeah, we know, you made this post twice with slight changes in different threads. To cover their usual questions you ask at once: No, she was not offered a role.     It actually was allegedly set during Eisenhower's inauguration, which I guess also fell on the night I Love Lucy aired the episode where Lucy gave birth? And those elements were going to come into play in some way, and somehow the Lodge beings' arrival was to be depicted with insects and a Formica table? I have no idea.
