According to veteran director Peter Miner (many soaps, Dark Shadows, etc.) in the OLTL oral history, Marisa Tomei asked to be let out of her contract because she couldn't handle learning that many lines per day and felt it left her no room to perform well. He sympathized with her.
Any Republicans who do have an interest in basic governance vs. tribalism are still cowed on some level - either by their mega-donors or election concerns. Look at their latest repeal failure; many of them knew it was pointless but it only went ahead because of direct threats from people like Adelson or the Kochs. Until some of them stand up for the right thing, none of this will change without either criminal indictment, resignation or a midterm election. And I'm not holding my breath on any of them standing up.
Well, GSGfan2017, no offense, but you seem to get a thrill out of Marcy Walker and her beautiful long hair in violent scenes involving rape or bondage. And um, that creeps people out.

Watching several 'liberal' journalists and bloggers get outed as secret sources/pals with Milo as fallout from the above Buzzfeed piece is grimly entertaining. The least surprising for me, somehow, is NY Mag's Olivia Nuzzi, who inbetween some good work has had a somewhat odd path to her career and used to get very, very angry about Hillary Clinton. The Buzzfeed piece doesn't cite her, but she apparently appears in several email chains and tweets chatting happily with Milo, Ann Coulter, etc. (who she calls 'a goddess') I just never trusted her. Meanwhile:
