  1. Why would they do that? I can't remember the last time EE was seriously interested in writing for gay people. Including all the years Steven or Ben killed people instead.
  2. This link has nothing to do with anything. Just admit to people you want them to agree with you that Marcy Walker is the star of everything and move the fúck on.
  3. Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are getting married.
  4. It was obvious Gordon Thomson was gay as hell on SuBe.
  5. The loudest element of the 'general audience' on social media is angry old Trekkies who think Seth MacFarlane's The Orville - which is basically a TNG cosplay spoof which looks like it was made in 1991 for about ten grand - is 'the true new Star Trek' without all that messy social justice. That's not general audience, it's spamming. You scratch the surface beyond their spamming of the most popular results on Twitter, or check other Trek boards which aren't reddit or PTV and you find a pretty engaged audience, especially at the long-running TrekBBS. But either way, Trekkies always hate any new Star Trek, they have since 1986. Then they still watch it.
  6. Look again. Critics mostly dug it, while a very vocal minority of Trekkers - who hate every new Trek series every time - spammed their displeasure. But outside of a few enclaves like reddit most of the fans are giving it a shot.
  7. Christine Toy Johnson - who played JFP addition Lisa West, a short-lived love interest for Hank Gannon on OLTL - had a heartbreaking turn as Richard Thomas' spouse on The Americans this season. Like many NY-based dramas the show regularly employs soap talent, and OLTL talent in particular.
  8. Politico says WH staff are 'looking for the exits':
  9. Yep. That's that (for now). I think it will keep on failing, but it is interesting watching - they blindly went ahead with this suicide bomb knowing it was a disaster simply because of intense pressure from their mega-donors. Now that that bluff from the donors has been inadvertently called by this failure it'll be interesting to see how the bought and paid for GOPers react.
  10. This thing has had such a rocky road to the finish line and CBS' dumb new streaming service is the worst place for it, but the early word is good from last night's premiere. I hope it works out. The pilot airs on TV - on CBS - on Sunday night.
  11. We're not looking up scuba fetish clips for you.
  12. Cinematographer Peter Deming posts a long series of BTS shots. Click the arrow to the right on each pic to scroll through more on each one.
