Ahhh, I gotcha. Yeah I wasn’t trying to come across as if I was complaining, I was just wondering what the change was haha. I definitely appreciate what the angels are doing! And yeah, I’d hoped they’d keep doing the 720p on YouTube or maybe even do 1080p, but you’re probably right about them not wanting such high quality episodes in circulation. Yeah, the YouTube uploads are definitely a cluster lol. It’ll be great when the whole series is available, but then what else will we ask for?? LOL

I was mainly talking about the quality of the uploads to the Vault. They weren’t a script and clear for ‘93 and ‘94 as they were for ‘92. I didn’t know why some were clear and crisp and some weren’t. Like some will be a 450mb file and others will be 150mb files. On YouTube, they definitely have been uploading low quality episodes since they started season 10. I wondered what the reason was. Are we trying to save space for the Vault so we don’t go over the limit?

Well, as long as the person who’s uploading the show from Videoland can get episode 1985 uploaded to the vault in HD and without subtitles when it appears, I’m satisfied LOL. ETA: has the person been uploading in HD?? it seems like 1993-1994 hasn’t been in high quality. Just wondering. Not complaining, just asking.

Yes, I remember that. I just am thinking the Videoland version will be even better quality than the great quality version that’s on there. It seems to be in HD when it comes from Videoland, and now that I heard that episodes are being uploaded without subtitles, it would be great to see! I’m just interested in that one because it has Sheila telling Mike about the farmhouse fire and the flashback scenes and it’s one of the very first clips I ever saw of B&B on YouTube when it was on there in less than stellar quality years ago. So it holds a bit of sentimentality. I hope the Videoland angel doesn’t skip the episode just because it’s uploaded from a different source. The colors seem to pop more on the Videoland uploads too versus any other official source. If you’re seeing this, uploader of the Videoland episodes, please make sure to record and upload episode 1985 without the subtitles in HD when it gets added to the site!!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I think seeing Lauren’s very first appearance would be the rarest scene of them all since it hasn’t been shown in any flashbacks since it first aired. I wonder how they’d tie it in, since in her first episode, she’s actually a friend of Traci’s instead of a bully. She does, however, advise Traci to sleep with Danny if Traci plans on keeping him…so maybe they’d use that part. Y&R does have a habit of uploading small tribute vids on their social media pages and YouTube channel of character anniversaries that are celebrated, like Beth Maitland. They even showed some of her first episode in the tribute episode and in the YouTube mini-tribute. I’d also love more stuff we haven’t seen before. The JoAnna scene you mentioned would be perfect!! I’d like a nice scene of her and her dad in an early appearance of them. They definitely need to show some of her relationships with Paul. And yes, definitely more of her bullying Traci. I doubt they’ll use the sundae scene since it was already used in Beth’s episode. Maybe they’ll use the pool party scene we’ve seen before or something like that. I hope they don’t spend too much time on her and Michael, as the character has so much more history to be featured before she and Michael got together. They definitely need to show some farmhouse scenes with Sheila and Molly. We need Lauren in college and her dorm room scenes, too, with Traci and her friend Betsy. I hope they spend time on her and Danny’s relationship since that was her first love on the show. Ohhh, I’d forgotten she won that!! And yes, I’d love to see all those clips!! Her first appearance is my most-wanted Lauren clip. I wanna see how they physically did-up the character. If they made her look prettier than Traci from the get go, or if they went easy on her appearance and made her look more like an every day college girl. There’s no way they could do a Lauren tribute episode and not show Paul!! I say if they can show Brenda Dickson scenes in the 1984 V&N wedding episode that aired as a classic a few years ago after how it ended between her and the show, then they can definitely feature Paul in a few scenes.

Since next month (the 25th, to be exact) is Tracey Bregman’s 40th anniversary as Lauren on the show, do you guys predict they’ll do a tribute episode to her?? Do you think there’s enough material for one?? Do you think she deserves it?? I personally hope they do one and show her very first appearance with Beth Maitland during the episode and go through the journey of her character with Danny, Paul, Scott, and Michael as her leading men. Then they touch on her endless times of being antagonized by Sheila and her bullying of Traci. They should also touch on Shawn Garrett and how he tortured her as well. They, too, should touch on her relationships with her mother and father, and her close friendship with Katherine. I believe if they did one for Beth, they should DEFINITELY do one for Lauren. I’d love to know your thoughts on this.

I’m still looking for these! I’m especially looking for material from the years 1978-1980 and 1983. I really hope someone can help! I’m not looking for stuff already on YouTube.

Ahhh I see. Well I guess we’ll have to count on the Y&R angels that are potentially out there to provide us with episodes from the early days (the first decade). Let’s hope there’s more to come in the future. 🤞🏾

Ahhh. Very interesting information. I’m definitely not holding my breath for Sony to ever release the episodes in any capacity. That’s why I always hope and pray for a Y&R angel to appear in the form of a human and gift us with full episodes from the first decade of the show…especially the late 70’s and early 80’s because that’s the most sought after (well, at least for me LOL) era of the show. That’s probably our only hope of ever seeing those “lost era” episodes. It’s just finding those who have them, or them finding us.

Why are they so difficult?? I don’t get it.

So tell me, do you all think that Y&R will ever get the treatment B&B is getting with them uploading the entire series (starting from episode 1) to Videoland and YouTube?? Also, why do you think they haven’t done it already??

Has the episode been uploaded by Videoland when Sheila tells Mike the full story of what happened between she and Lauren at the farmhouse with Molly??? I remember the her scenes were uploaded to YouTube years ago and she was in a blue outfit and there were flashbacks of the farmhouse scenes. The background music was epic and the way they did the scenes was amazing! I can remember being around 10/11 years old watching it on YouTube and having chills from what I was seeing. As I was typing this, I just found a video of what I’m talking about. Here it is!!

When I go to download each video on my laptop, I click the three dots next to the title of the video and I click "download" and then it'll start downloading and then will either stop mid-download and say "failed" or it'll now most recently only download to a certain megabyte number and say "completed" when it hasn't downloaded all the way. It's highly frustrating.

Maybe it’s the browser I’m using?? I’m using Mozilla Firefox.
