She's desperate to remain relevant. It says a lot no one wants to publish her book.

Her last day on the show was August 6th. She hasn't even been off the show three months, do I think she's definitely hungry for any attention.

Sometimes the problem isn't the workplace. It's you.

You could literally see how relieved and lighter Whoopi, Joy, Sara, Sunny and Ana were to start the season. Meghan was nothing but an albatross. She's not missed by the audience and I'm sure the cast and crew aren't shedding any tears over her.

I wasn’t into it either, but Brandy is the MVP IMO. The ladies are all good, but I feel like I’ve seen it all before a gazillion times. And it needs to be on streaming or cable, so we can really see them cuss each other out. It’s too prissy and PG for a soapy hip-hop series.

I think that's the problem. This type of format on a network just lets the (very talented) cast down.

Obviously the fact she had just had her daughter drove the point home more than anything else but I wonder how much the fact her last role on OLTL turned out to be largely a damp squid ended driving home for her that it was time to move on.

True. It all happened to coincide with her and her husband starting their family.

I think the dates on this upload may be incorrect -- the first date listed is May 26, 1976, but the first scenes shown correspond to the daily synopsis for May 31 per the AWHP. The first scene is the one where Robert Delaney smashes Mac's bust and slashes Iris' portrait. (The day with the argument leading up to this cataclysm and the rehearsal where Nic Coster was so angry with Beverlee McKinsey he came in without any trousers on would therefore have been the episode before on the Friday.)

The video quality is not good as it seems to have been someone filming their TV set.

Hmmm, interesting. Never knew about Nic Coster coming in with no pants. 😳

On these programs that are up for debate/negotiation, those home health aides are incredibly low-paid, so I hope the ACA can at least have some funds that can help because it is immoral for those workers to work hard and continue to be so severely underpaid. In my area, the group home employees are on the verge of striking. It wouldn't surprise me if the home health aides were next.

I work as a home health aide. Thanks for the kind words. 😊

In the Locher intrview, Lisa Peluso said definitively that she did not miss acting.  She had "done that" since she was 4 months old and sacrificed a lot to be a working actress her entire life.  She sounds very happy with her current life and seems to realize she had a great acting career, but that there was more to be had leading a life outside the spotlight.  Happy for her...

Seeing the way soaps fared, especially in NYC, she definitely got out while the going was still (somewhat) good.

Exactly. I think this has a lot to do with it. This time last year, a lot of people were still out of work and possibly still quarantined (lucky them, huh), so watching television was easier. I don't see many people DVRing a talk show at this point, when they can get highlights on YouTube.

Yeah. I wasn't home, but I did and do DVR it.

If this is true, I really do loathe her and what she represents. She is not only hurting people, but she is demoralizing countless voters into believing the two parties are the same. I think if Democrats lose the majority in 2022, she is switching parties immediately.

    Sickening. 😡😡😡😡😡
