If the reboot takes off, who knows? I don't see BBT lasting that much longer (it's in its 11th season). Then again, how long did Chuck Lorre's other hit sitcom (Two and a Half Men) stay on the air loooooong after it had been played out?

To me, the Maggie recast was so seamless and Lydia Bruce fit in so well with the show's dynamic, it felt like she had always been there. TD struck gold when they found her.

Yes. Actually, technically Leon Jr. was her stepson. He was Leon Stevens' son from his first marriage. Here's the story, in a lawsuit filed by Leon Jr.'s ex-wife against Cessna: https://law.justia.com/cases/federal/district-courts/FSupp/634/137/1885566/ The next year, David O'Brien's nephew (his sister's son) died in an accident. I read that in one of the soap magazines of the day. If I can find the article, I'll try to get it up here. Here's Lydia's obit: http://m.legacy.com/obituaries/tucson/obituary.aspx?n=lydia-bruce-stevens&pid=113609822&referrer=0&preview=false Here's the final resting place for the Stevens family, in New Hampshire: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/150731096 Lydia's husband Leon Sr. was also an actor, and played the recurring role of Judge Clark Bowman. He was the chairman of the hospital board.

Sadly, I feel SB may have been ahead of its time with the rapist's identity in light of the #MeToo movement. But I digress.

She last aired in May 1968. Her absence was originally 8 weeks so she could play Sean Connery's wife in the film The Molly Maguires. Lydia Bruce was hired to temp until Bethel returned. She decided to stay in Hollywood, and Lydia became the permanent Maggie. What started as 8 weeks as a fill-in became a 14 1/2 year run, as Lydia would stay until the series finale in December 1982.

I guess watch the regular Hallmark movies? If it has Kellie Martin, Danica McKellar, Candace Cameron Bure or anyone else I grew up watching/around my age, I'm there. Remember growing up when all the networks had those "moment of truth" movies with people like Elizabeth Montgomery, Patty Duke, Meredith Baxter, Lindsay Wagner, Melissa Gilbert, etc.? Here are a couple of articles that get right to the point of what you're talking about: http://www.chicagotribune.com/entertainment/tv/ct-hallmark-channel-christmas-movies-20171207-story.html https://www.google.com/amp/www.philly.com/philly/entertainment/television/hallmark-channel-ratings-harvey-weinstein-matt-lauer-20171212.html%3famphtml=y P.S. Even though it's a "crime" show, I still love to binge watch on Monk. No matter what, Tony Shaloub always makes me laugh.

Keith Blanchard was an adorable little boy who was a fine actor as well. You didn't see him staring off camera for cues, and he didn’t come off as overly precocious. His Erich was just a normal kid.

You know something? He creeped me out in that movie. I was fine with everyone else - Jessica Lange, Teri Garr, Dabney Coleman, Bill Murray, etc., but something seemed off about Dustin Hoffman. How about that scene where dressed as a woman, he is mauled by George Gaynes' character? 😨😨😨😨😨 Like Dolly Parton said in 9 to 5, it's time to turn all these roosters into hens!!! Now!!!
