Nikki called John from work in a September 1991 episode asking for Jack to come back home so she could tell him she was going to rehab for her drinking. Jack and Nikki were still married but separated at this point but Nikki and John had scenes together when Victor had secretly gathered everyone to the private dining room at the colonnade room because he was going to reveal to everyone he was alive. Nikki ended up leaving before Victor showed up and Jack didn’t show up at all (to save for their own reactions later on) this was September 1993.

exactly! It’s a very important beat that’s not being played. If they weren’t so obsessed with them writing Steffy as the one who was “done wrong” completely washing all her past mistakes and sins away, we could have gotten Rj calling her out on everything! Like everytime she goes on her “Logan’s are bad” tirade he should point out: “you attack my mom and her family, you’re also attacking me!” And of course the godawful parent trapping Steffy continues to do with Ridge and Taylor…again RJ should point out how pathetic his older sister is for being so obsessed with getting her parents back together and RJ should be furious with Ridge! But of course we get none of that!

I doubt it…it’s a shame. RJs point of view of this whole Takeover thing should be needed but once again we have to pretend he doesn’t exist in favor of Ridges kids with Taylor…

I really hate that everything is probably gonna just go as planned, because Bradley is too afraid to think out the box….it should be revealed that Daphne has a long dossier on Steffy and all the Forresters wrong doings or some shady stuff we don’t know about even and is planning on using that info to blackmail herself into having a portion of the company. She’s not about helping Steffy or the Forresters or even Hope and the Logan’s, she just wants it all and doesn’t care who she has to bring down. thats the making of a soap superbitch id like to see!

Ah thanks! I honestly think I’ve only ever seen the first 3 episodes of Bold, so to this day I never saw episode 4 or 5. Haha.

I'm willing to give it some time, but if the current Derek proves to not work out as well, maybe they can swap him with the "Zeke" actor! haha. Honestly too soon to think about serious recasting, yet I know with it being a soap it will happen at some point. That's amazing!!! again I don't want to speculate too much now, but this really could be like a renaissance for people tuning into Soap Operas and for Soaps again in general!

I totally agree, It's refreshing to see a powerful family all be united yet still likable at the same time, just as the Dupree's are. I was living for the reactions though when Anita made it clear they were all going to attend Bill and Haley's wedding as a family! Speaking of old school soap touches.... Naomi playing the piano and singing felt very Leslie Brooks IMO! It's nice to see characters actually have hobbies or other interests too like Chelsea's social media status...I felt it when Kat and Dani prevented her from enjoying her charcuterie! The working class women gossiping about the rich?? hell yeah!! and wow Leslie is psychotic....was that it for Laura?! I definitely see plenty of chemistry with Bill and Dani, Hate and LOVE! I actually thought he had less chemistry with Haley, but then who knows what Bill really has planned for her? It's amazing how fast this hour flies by....that's not the case whenever I watch Y&R...or even a half hour of B&B...LOL Oh yeah, Vanessa!! 🥰 LOL at the Bandana around her head and the glasses!! very old school soap! and I totally agree that guy should have been Derek!!

Oh hell year for sure! BTG is slowly becoming the new crown gem of CBS, but Y&R still isn't as bad as B&B. Yet 1 out of the 3 is the one that most resembles a soap opera, and it's not the two there are over 50 and pushing 40 years old sadly....😂
