I thought the Anita and Naomi scene was a lot of fun! I love seeing more of Anita’s character and longing for the good old days of her music career! I feel like we haven’t seen nurse Shanice for a while? Her presence could have been used at the hospital scenes with Eva.

Daphne can stay if they plan to have her go after and seduce Finn, ending this so called stupid “friendship” of hers and Steffy…

haha, trust me I try to forget all that! I do think her last couple years though were better, I guess because Hope wasn't constantly fighting with Steffy since JMW took a break towards the end of her run. Of course fighting over Liam and Wyatt wasn't any better. LOL

Yes! Heidi Mueller played the role from 10/24/03 to the final episode. I think the amount of temp recasts they had made it seem like there were a lot more, and I think almost every main younger character was recast at some point? I know we had Nick Stabile and Priscilla Garita as a temp Fox and Theresa for like 2 months, LOL. I didn't know Deanna Wright auditioned for Mac...I would have liked to see that honestly!

Kim Matula actually popped in my head as a possible recast Ashley, but I know she's made a stride doing movies and primetime now.

Yes it was! haha. Taylor Anne Mountz (who I still prefer as Kay TBH) left after a year on the show, (7/5/99-8/2/00) then they had Gina Marie May play the role for about a month (8/3/00-9/20/00) then Deanna Wright came on (9/25/00-10/6/03)

Haha I certainly haven’t forgotten about MARCIA being OG Rebecca! 😂😂 and looking back she did well in the role and a part of me wishes she could have stuck around longer…..nothing against the late great Andrea though!

I’ve been trying to give him a chance but he’s just so out of place here, and Ben Gavin doesn’t get what being in a soap opera means so I don’t think he will last all the way to the end of year… Im ok with Ashley but wonder if there is a stronger actress out there even for her?

I don’t know if someone replied about this but Mary Elizabeth Winstead was the first person recast on Passions. She played Original Jessica for 8 months then Jade Harlow took over in the summer.

I’m pretty shocked…not gonna lie! There was nothing wrong with the actor playing Ted so I’m curious if there’s a reason why? also was hoping it was Derek too!

I still feel like that was done intentionally. We don’t even know the status of Josh Hoffman who plays RJ. They kept him offscreen just to keep everything one note in Steffy and Ridges favor. IMO

You pretty much nailed it!! Although, I still wish they had acknowledged back then that Steffy was really acting like Brooke which was the important beat missing in the insufferable Liam/Hope/Steffy triangle. It was never Steffys fault where Stephanie and Taylor were concerned…they could have at least admitted back then that Steffy was a vessel of payback for Brooke being the sl*t from the valley all those years, but instead they (Steffys family) took Steffys behavior as being this total badass who knows what she wants and how to get it, and morals be damned as well as anyone named Logan…..yet now Steffys preaching people about morals and it’s just horrific writing and I can’t express enough how much these actors and Bell himself need a reality check with everything!!!

Boy....if only that were the case....Bradley knows damn well he's not gonna make some social issue out of the whole Daphne thing unfortunately.....it's serving the purpose for one of his two favorite things: A Hope/Carter/Daphne triangle, or a Carter/Daphne/Zende triangle....🙄

It's definitely out of habit like Y&R...and it's this sick feeling I need to get over that something I want to see happen WILL actually happen the minute I stop watching...
