mmm...not sure about the whole day passing in an episode...seems too similar to what Mal Young tried to do when he was EP over at Y&R...haha Showing a weekend would be different on a soap

That's pretty good for a first week of a new soap! Y&R's entire first week was one day I believe, and Passions started day #2 the second half of episode #5 I wonder if BTG will ever do that rarity where they end an evening and begin a new Day within the same episode? From what I've seen I think that might have been more common on classic AMC/OLTL?

Just finished episode #2! It definitely seems like the show is finding it's footing, beat by beat! It will be interesting to see how the week concludes. Ashley and Andre definitely have better chemistry then her and Derek, and I felt more spark with Ashley today then on yesterday's show. Nicole not having anytime for Haley was hilarious, her and Bill are definitely a piece of work. I wouldn't want to cross Vernon or Anita if I was Bill. It's also refreshing that the family seems to hold the man accountable for the affair which is something you don't see ever on say B&B. It's gonna be quite the showdown tomorrow with Dani and Bill based on the ending! LOL Eva and her mother, they are social climbers and I'm looking forward to seeing what they do! I guess Eva's mother had a past with Nicole's husband? gotta have the folk from the wrong side of the tracks, if that's what they are? I thought Martin and Smitty were cute. A kiss would have been nice, but I do think it was intentional they didn't show too much affection...I'm looking forward to seeing their kids too. I'm in agreement with everyone that some of the character's look way too young to be parents to 20 or 30 somethings, but at the same time, I feel like this is a throwback to B&B and even Passions where most of the actors playing the parents would be way too young to have kids at certain ages. I know Mike Manning is 37, and I'm assuming the actor that plays Martin is around that age or a little younger. The actor playing their son is 20 IRL I think, so it kind of gives me flashbacks to Passions when you had a 37/38 year Eva Tamargo play a mom to 5 grown kids, two of them at least pushing 30 and the others playing teens. Although at the same time I think people tend to look younger these days too so that doesn't help. Who were the two assistants of Nicole who had that conversation together? are they contract players, the older one looked like Bessie from the first episode? I love even the recurring/dayplayers are getting good airtime!

Griffith has watched the SAW movies too many times apparently…

That’s one thing I noticed. as handsome as the men are, some of them do look a little too similar and besides the ones that stand out more because of them being older like Vernon, Bill and I guess Nicole’s husband who we haven’t met yet, the younger ones including Martin kind of have a similar look to them.

I’m quite surprised Victoria wasn’t considered for BTG at all? It’s still early yet but thinking of it, most would assume she’d be a must get for the show.

Good first episode! But looking forward to the rest of the week! I was kind of hoping we would get real closing credits but…oh well…

Well I think he’s cheating on her, but yeah the actors are just kind of blah…

It’s refreshing to see a show hold the men accountable (so far) for their cheating actions.

Hopefully by the end of the week we know “who’s who” a bit more lol i liked that lady too and hope we see more of her. It’s always the unassuming ones that get promoted to a bigger role.

Is the grandson the one that’s gay? It’s kind of hard to keep track of the relationships but im Actually enjoying what I see so far! Haha I’m getting so old school Kay/Jill/Phillip vibes from The whole Dani/Haley/Bill stuff.

Does the actress that plays Daphne have any other facial expression other than smirking? I guess she doesn’t have to do much but….what a fail of a character…

Yeah Hope laying into Ridge today was great! (Of course Steffy wasn’t in the same room the one time her own past was brought up too…gah) Brooke still wanting Ridge is pathetic but that’s Thudley for you…even when Ridge is told off he can’t bring him down. 🤬

Haha I actually currently have daydreams where the next time, say JMW does a Bold Live (either by herself or with Tanner, whoever) there’s gonna be a HUGE article that comes out: “caller puts JMW on blast” 😂😂😂 probably because I actually want that to happen! I can imagine going on X and seeing the clip being reposted of the most heated part of the argument between JMW and the fan ripping her into shreds! again I know it’s not the actors fault although based on interviews I do think JMW seems to be a bit ignorant to her own characters history so she would kind of deserve to be called out like TK does!

Look I know actors have no say whatsoever when it comes to their stories or what their characters do or say but I really wish someone would have both TK and JMW on a live stream interview, and really lay it thick how terrible their characters are and force them to watch old clips to back it up…I know…stupid idea maybe but I really want to know their true opinion at this point even if they are just gonna kiss. Bradley’s a$$.

I totally agree! who knows, I might be getting a head of myself here but maybe BTG will be so successful that in the next few years MVJ will create another sister show that exists in BTG universe for possible future crossovers? Again a big “what if?” But how awesome to think CBS could possible have 4 soaps in its lineup again that they haven’t since 2009?! (That is if Y&R and B&B don’t get cancelled beforehand)

That’s fair! For obvious maybe it’s a good thing if the people of Fairmont Crest never mingle with the likes of those living in GC or LA , 😂😂

I think this was mentioned a few days ago but I do really wonder if they will mention any characters from Y&R and B&B the first week or month In the show? To tie all three shows together and make it possible for future crossovers?
