That's good to hear. I didn't like they seem to be giving Kiki the DALLAS Jen Davis FOH edit, but good she still shined through. Since my brother is having trouble remembering his Peacock account PW, I'm happy someone has been posting episodes online to watch. Yeah, it was a CHORE after the gaslighting of Mary to watch. And once that racist started to talk and everyone wanted to add on...I literally almost turned the channel. It was just that triggering. Could you imagine how that all would have went IF Jeannie had not pi#$ed off someone enough to unearth all those posts of hers? Just...foul. Outside of Jen's drama (and seeing Coach Shah speak)...Yeah I can't either. This might just be like how I felt about the BH reunion...I tapped out after Part 1. It's barely fun anymore. Okay, it's mostly not fun. That...was just too much. ALL OF THIS.

SLC Part 1 left me cold. In fact, seeing that the gaslighting continues next week, I think I will seriously skip over Part 2 which I feel is going to be filler anyway and be back for Part 3 for Jen vs Utah Lydia. I can see why Twitter was upset. Mary was definitely, truly, and utterly everyone's storyline. I posted the synopsis for the reunion weeks ago, but I hoped there would be more substance, but nope. Given the few times that Housewives have decided to not show up to a reunion, it is very telling that rather than move on after the announcement that they kept harping on it. So...nothing happened this season? I mean...there is Jen's arrest, but we are not allowed to mention it, right? God bless, Utah Lydia. She will be good and God darned if she was not fighting for her relevancy as a boss bitca that only 'appears' to be a victim. And she almost immediately saw Bad Weather coming with their annual reunion act. While NO ONE will EVER top Monique's binder, good to see her bringing receipts to back up the Angie catering arc that started off the season. Jeannie v Meredith was easily the highlight as shown above by @Cat. I guess Andy and the Budget Coven planned to do a whole narrative (and also next week) of Mary being the villain and a racist. And they thought they were going to pull Meredith along for the ride. And Meredith was like 'no, bitca.' She gathered that girl and gathered her good. But the gaslighting. The trying to paint Jeannie as not in the wrong...even though she knew of her posts and the world did not...and allowing her to even have a narrative that Andy was supporting. Too much for me.

Easily my favorite part of the episode. Meredith got her ALL THE WAY TOGETHER. They really should have. I found it EXTREMELY triggering and I never recovered from it. NO I don't need a rewatch. And the fact that through that whole section Jen looked like she wanted to say something, but kept her mouth was the only standout from it.

THEY DID. Not helped by the writers...though I don't think it was Dan, but Chris...doing the sin of doing a rewrite (going back to our conversation in the GH thread) when there was really no way given history that Anna would sleep with Faison EVER. Her/their history was seen on screen mostly. Even with the wiggle room of missing years, it was STILL implausible. He was Dead Man Walking from the moment of the reveal and having him do bad while making fan favorites look stupid only made it worse.

SLC Hm. Episode started with a disclaimer about how it was filmed before the bombshell of Jeannie's Facebook posts. But...but I thought Utah Lydia and Andy Cokehead found a way to get it addressed on the reunion. Or perhaps they are talking about the race section that aired tonight that is getting soooooooooo much backlash as I type that it sounds like they should have edited it out....

SET IT OFF reunion tonight with Jada Pinkett Smith. And her character is trending....

Well, just speaking for myself, I felt like the writers were going with Ninata having a mental break after Nelle's death before Nixon Falls but the chemistry between CW and MB and the direction of the story gave the potential for that (cuz CW pays great crazy) gave the story a good shift. I definitely do not see her as a woman on a verge of a breakdown now. So like you, I would say she is a woman in a complicated situation.

I saw. Heck, Spencer is a recent addition to that list. His return continues to be bearing fruit. In his absence from the screen, suspicion of the stalker was not on him (except for eagle viewers here so I know I was not the only one who thought him outside of Ryan). And once he returned, we have history with him in contact in Ryan off screen, his relationship with Esme who continue to be a menace, and his presence recharging the teen set since Trina did not know the history while Joss and Cameron did, allowing for a light story before they dived in the stalker story more. And who knows what other hidden history that might come up (like Esme's fascination with Ryan off screen aka hidden history). All of which (so far) seem plausible.

I agree with this. There has to be some wiggle room. Otherwise, it does look like the writers do not know their history.

Well, it's great to hear that this great momentum that GH has snatched up with Louise's kidnapping WILL have a climax. Hopefully they planned it out right. Right now, I'm near the end of the 2-11. And I am liking it. The fact that Maxie was taken by Peter the episode before and it does not appear jarring that the writers switched gears, ignoring the cliffhanger with only references, is kinda ballsy. But still it is not interrupting the rhythm at all is great writing. Good for them they have several balls in the air so they can just switch to that, too. LOL at Trina side-eyeing her parents for their VD dinner which is only making Trina think she's dealing with Single Awareness Day. Heeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllo, Chet!!! I am starting to wonder if the person hating on Liz and Finn is either Aidan or Jake. But would the writers do that? I am LIVING for Ava's reaction to Nina/Sonny/Carly blowup. And she definitely knows how to play them. Speaking of Carly, does she have any female friends because her scene with Sam was actually odd. Meanwhile, her talking to Drew has gotten VERY repetitive.
