  1. He needs to quit. I am drinking wine. lol.
  2. Now that I have some 'wiggle' room. So I have mentioned that my December work schedule is a fresh level of hell every year. And this was no different in my postal job. This year in my hospitality job there has been a lot of turnover. Which included the 'heart' of the group, the person who hired me and kept the place going. I worried how things would fall apart without. Without the right hand person in most of my jobs I've been in, that always end bad. So my hell started on last week when I walked into work and found out that they fired the back night crew pre-Xmas. Rather than communicate this, the back supervisor decided to go home early rather than form a plan for that. I reckon that those without a restaurant background or knowledge of how holiday work have no idea how hectic, busy, and entitled things/people can be. However, one of the things I like to drill into people is foresight is your friend. Meaning one has to anticipate situations and plan accordingly. Just in case. There was NONE of that this week. And if I had not point out X-mas Eve, my immediate supervisor would have been working alone. None of my upper management apparently wanted to work, but yet did not staff at all. I don't know where their head was at, but did not care. This past weekend was not good. And then no back staff?? Then I found out 1) the head of the company was leaving for a promotion and 2) my other immediate supervisor got a co-vid scare. AND my management wanted him to STILL work. ... I heard the response to his worry was 'can't live in fear.' ??? As for him, I've worked with him enough and we are the same zodiac sign and I am also observant enough to see he was freaking out. As I am sure I mentioned here, I NEVER had any real downtime from covid due to one of my jobs being an essential worker (which is why me taking time off in October was a BIG DEAL but I digress) so I cannot believe to tell you the amount of covid scares I had when California attempt to reopen. I tried to keep him calm, and give suggestions since there are plenty of places to go...or even get covid tests (apparently the library here gives them away for free). But I did not like how my upper management did not see at all concerned. Especially the head, sending out an email about how we kinda expected to have a moment. Oh ready? While this was going on, one of my other supervisor (a new hire) was going about his day coughing an awful lot. That gave me pause. Thankfully for long stretches of time, my part of my job is one that involves me being by myself there. Still...that made me go hmmm. So when I went on my break, I decided to check out news reports over new developments on Omicron and Delta. Just in case given what had just happened. I had to give out breaks. And while the night crew was going on their breaks, it got busy as it tended to. And this supervisor...kept getting on everyone's computer's but his own. I side-eyed since he had been coughing and given what my other supervisor just found out. I at least lysoled off my section. I also basically warned my co-workers that perhaps it would be best if when they came back from break if they did the same with their own desk. Not surprising for me...decades in customer service...my observant skills (and writer skills) were on point. It turned out he got covid. As did a good amount of the day crew. ... So if I had not strongly recommended that to the night crew, they might have it, too? I myself as I've mentioned got both shots and recently took my boostered shot since my essential job required I made time to do so. I was mad at the time since my December work schedule gives me no time, but I was thankfully a few days ago that I did because of this. However this job I do not think everyone has been allowed to get their boosters yet. My immediate supervisor was extremely angry (as was I) because she lives with her family and that includes grandparents so she was worried about that. And the response for upper management was apathy. Yeeeah no. Oh top of that, there was the aforementioned firings so night time is extremely short staffed and back daytime I have found (and called out) are inefficient, too busy trying to scapegoat their own shortcomings...one of which is not communicating. On top of this, there is a covid guest in house. ...yeah, a note was at least left for that, but I do not like no one communicated that fact more efficiently. Perhaps my upper management need to lead how to shorthand or use code (I found out I was right when my immediate supervisor told me in front of people by using code words. I got it. I had to try to not be livid). So...the hell of my past week. PS. The supervisor I was worried about...turned out to be negative. My story being a case in point. I can't. @Cat and @DramatistDreamer thank you for the info re: Japan. As I sat waiting to get a NYE haircut, it gave some comfort while at the same time made the last week inexcusable.
  3. I admit I heard about that a few days ago re: Monique and did a SMH. I do wonder how that fact will come into play on that show. The producers also do FAMILY KARMA which is also a great show if you haven't checked it out. And THAT is a sign of a great show. They haven't had drama with each other for three episodes, but enough drama in their own lives to make the show interesting. And it sounds like it's petty drama (Chateau Thelma vs Moore Manor comes to mind) which is the kind of drama I can get behind. You just remind me my brother is late with his info since he does have Peacock. Grrr. Now I know you have better taste. 😜 I kid!!!! Did you ever watch Season 2 of MIAMI? This is not a shock...okay, Adriana, but everyone else. If you like a telenovela style to your reality show, it sounds like it's giving which Season 2 did and is one of the best HW sesasons EVER.
  4. Girl, you late!!!! 😜 Couldn't remember if L&M had a thread so posted it under the RH thread. I do think it's interesting that not only are they building the show around Monique, but two of the women had tested for POTOMAC. And what's this about a mistress?
  5. All I have to say is WOW. Trigger warning!!! There are 3 parts to the clips and it gets worse as it goes along. Just SMH.
  6. POTOMAC Well...adjacent...but ooooooooooo!!!!!
  7. 12-15 Could someone had warned me of all the hotness on display in the spa room? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! #justanotherchasegroupie Not that Finn looked bad for his age. And yay to a Davis Girls scene!!! Though I admit that I did not recognize Molly at all. And I cheered at the Britt/Brad reunion!!!! I loved even more when the Britch came out with Ms. Wu. And I STAN Ms. Wu checking Michael. Who the Frak does he think he is? Oh, yeah, Carly's son!!! Meanwhile, I loved Brooklyn starting to check Willow as well. I mean...who are either of them to get in Chase or Brooklyn's face when they were lying at the start of the year. Seeing Willow's mom reminded me that yeeeah we do have a big cast. I had completely forgotten about her and all the stuff still in play with Alexis, Esme's fascination with Ryan, etc. OOoooo...this look Brooklyn just gave Chase. SAME, GIRL. Yeah, they are slow burning this nicely. OOOOH and the Brooklyn/Chase continues into 12-16. Well...hmmm.... lol.
  8. I LOVED it when I was younger. And have read it twice. I know it's not for everyone's taste but I loved it more than DREAM BOY which I also loved. His descriptive-ness was perfection. You could see Nola, taste Nola, and smell it for better or for worse. And it has different points of views and I felt like they were all different though it does drag a bit near the end. Perhaps it's because I, too, am a boy from a small town, but I remember it really resonating with me both times and the ending has haunted me for years. I really should get around to buying my own copy some day...it really has stayed with me.
  9. Hehe. See? I was trying to be nice for once. @Soapsuds he still has an EP credit so I would say somewhat loosely maybe.
  10. Thank you. I knew when they were fully back in the swing of things that they had at least made it to 3 months ahead...which I think is better than six months so they can pivot story-wise, but back to Six again. Alas.
  11. Yes, it is a tightrope she walks for sure. Even public opinion is picking on her as they sympathize with her. They were comparing that wig to the one Robyn wore at Wendy's local summit in Season 5 of POTOMAC. Yeah...Heather still gives funny moments, but she has not at all been the same to me this year, always throwing Utah Lydia under the bus every chance she gets. Hehe. Yes, in the context of RH, Utah Lydia is fun to watch. Lord, Andy is a total Kevin. But not surprised. Peacock's gain.
  12. NOW I'm interested. But you just gave me Jim Grimsley's BOULEVARD vibes.
  13. Clearly I missed it, but...KIM CATTRALL!!!!!!!!!?????????? And given recent events...the irony...
  14. What a difference time makes.
  15. WAIT? You think I like JEN? JEN SHAH? But DING, DING, DING!!! I couldn't find the words last week for while the episode before the Pho party left such a bad taste in my mouth. THAT'S WHAT WAS BUGGING!!! At least in Season 1, they seem like a group of friends from diverse and interesting backgrounds. But since the reunion...YES. They are about alliances and it shows. Fascinating to watch for sure, but where is the friendship? I know there are moments of it (Jen and Heather breastknocking, this past week of Utah Lydia (yes, I LOVE that!), Meredith, and Jeannie and the wig), but they are actually rare now where I did not feel that in Season 1. Last season, Lisa was Fabulous, but this season I did not feel she was living up to the title of Fabulous Ice. And you said why that is. YEEEEEESSSS!!!! She is putting in the work for sure, but she really is coming across as the world's dumb villianess. But it's funny. lol. Now...Jen. When I meant Oscar performance, I didn't mean that as a compliment. No, no, no. Where Ms. Pat the Puss was doing things that made me see red, red, drag that trick, red all last season of BH, Jen is not coming across like that. I think you, me, and @Chris B see how deluded she looked. I honestly feel like I mentioned before that she is playing her hand well for the audience for sure (if I ignore that Twitter video she posted yesterday), because I have not heard (outside of yesterday) ANY trolling like Pat the Puss was doing online all last season. So all I have is what she shows on the show. And that she is doing well. Her looking humbled. Her filming with her family. Trying to play innocent. But again, she is PLAYING. And we see it every time she steals a look at the camera...which she has done every time she is on screen EXCEPT during the Pho dinner. I don't know if you have seen the comedy satire SERIAL MOM, but I honestly feel like Kateleen Turner's character in that moment ('Suzanne Somers, this is my BAD side!') that she is seriously in her deluded mind the victim and she is going to ride this (and fame) all the way to the trial and like Serial Mom try to get a hung jury by discredit everyone in her path...except not with the comedic flair of Kateleen Turner. In fact, I feel Bravo is banking on that. That's why they are (already) casting for Season 3 and then I believe filming will start around the time Jen's trial actually starts next year. And while yes, I know she's playing 1) I am entertained to see how far she can go like the best soap villainess of old and 2) I cannot help but feel sympathic toward that family. No kids should have to be treated how the FBI did in that arrest episode. That can only be traumatic for a person of color...and a kid at that. She definitely is miles ahead of Pat the Puss, but still not a fan nor a stan. I agree about Heather. She has not been the same since the reunion. And like I said then, she's like Jen, but subtler. Little Girl will never be a grown A^& woman like Ashley Darby. #trust RE: Miami. I know, I know. I will. It looks like it's Season 2 (but refreshed) all over again and I can't wait. I figured it was a good idea to bring those videos over. Cuz there are just too many questions. Thank you. THIS. And some of the best shows are the shows where the setting...RHoNY and RHOA come to mind...is also a character of its own in a way.
  16. That is my worry as well. Like Sheila's last return started off well for me in 2017, but to see her end up as a waiter and fade away. Yeeeeah NO. At least she has a bit more meat to her from what I read, see, and look forward to seeing.
  17. 12-13 The amount of people who are wanting Peter to die already have me hollering. So far, my favorite has been Liz's death glare and Maxie being so flip about it. That did lead to a nice Liz/Maxie scene. I guess Hades froze over. KILL HIM, LIZ!!! KILL HIM!!! And finally we are back to Curtis!!!! And the missing link of his story...STEEEELLLLA!!!! If anyone would have knowledge of the backstory...it would be her. And she felt missing from it so perhaps that was why the story stalled. SHUT UP, MICHAEL AND WILLOW!!! You don't get to judge Chase or Brooklyn given what you did!!! And I loved Chase stepping up to those twits. I do like that Jake is fitting in surprisingly fine. And I loved his talk with Curtis. LUCY!!!! MS. WU!!!! YES, GIRL!!! GET YOUR STORY!!!! And BRRRADD!!!! At last! Can we get Lucas back, too? If you had told me a year ago we would have a vibrant triangle with Carly/Sonny/Nina, I would have thought you were crazy. BUT...they are so slow burning this and I stay fascinated. If they only rope Kevin in as Sonny's therapist as he assimilates back into himself...but alas. But I could say the same thing about Epiphany and Britt together. Epiphany NOT checking her. I guess it was cold down there as well. The best thing about Brando/Sasha's drama (outside of Sasha discovering Nixon Falls tea) was seeing Amy!! Can we get Chet back, too?
  18. OC OOOOOooooo...Sweet James spoke up...
  19. I would rather err on the side of caution than to be in a hospital bed. Speaking as a vax and boosted as well, I expect a bit of common sense. If one does not have sense, one gets to deal with the consequences. Again, whether we get through this or not is depended on if people can not only think about themselves, but other people to SOME extent as well. Now THAT (you had it already and 3 booster shots) I can understand. Sadly, people cannot read minds. From what I see in my jobs, just being around town, and talking to friends and family in other places, I agree with. I still felt for the few days I was there, that Manhattan did a more thorough job to stay on top of people masking, v cards, etc. than what I'm seeing here in San Diego now.
  20. RHOA A FOH for Sheree? I bet I'll love it. Happy to hear Alexia is reigning...AS SHE SHOULD. Wait. What picture of a black baby? Yeah, I feel the same about Mary. I know what people are saying, but I know what I'm SEEING. Shades of DALLAS for me. And it doesn't help that Bad Weather are so transparent. Moreso for the reasons you listed. And to think I used to love Whitney and Mary's friendship because they both felt like outsiders. And oh my God YEEEEEEESSS!!! I really and truly feel that the reason they are mad, too, is because Mary can READ...THEM...DOWN. And for her aloofness, she is highly observant. That's what made her so great during the Season 1 reunion. She may be many things, but stupid is not one of them.
