7-7 Clearly someone in the writer's room has gotten a crush on Crush. They (and Production) has Chase as shirtless and/or in as little as possible in this block of episodes I've watching. And I am not at all complaining, but it's noticable as heck. Not to mention all the right camera angles too. Cuz that back when the girl offered him a towel was EVERYTHING. Outside of that, I continue to roll my eyes at the REST of his family and the clear shoving of them on viewers. And FINALLY!!!! Sasha has been exposed!!! Publicly. It was sad to see, but I felt it was overdue to be dropped on everyone else. And...GET HER, MS. WU!!!! You know I was here for her gathering Morgan Fairchild. Now her with Lucy though. I love the internal conflict of Valentin playing both sides of the fence knowing it could endanger his blooming relationship with Anna. Just because I've seen it but I have not had time to do this: HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA at the idea of Carly losing everything. And sorry, but Cody is a no for me. I like Josh Kelly, but I find Cutter on OLTL had more layers than he does and I am sure they are the same character. And I still feel like his character is going to turn out to be another Holt.

Episode 4 Now about that plot twist...LOL!!! Yep. I knew we were back to dueling timelines. And with that in mind...it still fell into place with all the plots converging. I guess the only piece of the puzzle that needs clarity is Christina. As of right now, it seems like it's happening at the right pace. But I am starting to wonder if Delores is the only one who knows where the Valley Beyond is, that maybe that is where Christina is. Or dare I say it, with the plot twist if the Valley Beyond was found, giving us what is going on with Christina. As of right now, Season 4 is giving Season 1 vibes for sure and worth a checkout for those who dropped it in Season 3.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOD Well...not surprising. What IS surprising is that people have assumed this is about Carlos King due to one of his podcast where he mentioned that he would love to come in and redo RHOD...AND the fact that Claudia Jordan is being reeeeeallly coy under the comments. Meanwhile...D'Andra IS in talks at Bravo in NY. Thank you for this. I have only heard good things about Alex. Can't say the same for Chris. And I know Ex Soap Opera Star is sad the producer is leaving as well. Given the editing they appear to be getting...and the backlash...one can hope the Coven is ending. You're welcome. Yes, it does lack sincerity. More about her having to do it rather than Garcelle's feelings. And on another platform? She knows she messed up so she clearly has to do it as publicly as possible. So I don't know why she said she apologized privately if she's announcing this publicly. And no one will believe her until Garcelle verifies it. Sloppy. Yeah, Alex was OC.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Well speaking of Yolanda Lite's famous friends... I found it funny that as soon as Diana had drama online...that given the rumors about her...PEOPLE did this story the very next week. Sounds like Sutton (whom shade with that 80s song I heard about since I'm behind) still has ALL the tea...same with Crystal and Brandi/Denise last year. And like a Southern Belle is not kissing and telling.

Yep. Pretty much. And no matter how good Porsha and Gizelle are, we all know her need to produce...and hatred of Monique...will probably result in just what we want to see...Porsha vs Candiace. Twitter will be beside themselves...and I will be sitting there with popcorn.

The magic is back. Watched the first 3 episodes of Season 4. I don't know how to describe it without saying...Through the Looking Glass. There are quite a few callbacks to Season 1 for sure. And at the same time...some things are mirroring it. And that no more clearer than in the curious tale of 'Christina...' Season 1 was about Dolores's journey to self awareness. So far, that is the case with this 'Christina.' Since she's not Dolores because Dolores is gone...then who is she? Where is she? And given who shows up in the coda of the first episode, the mystery of her is on and it is already twisty but intriguing. Maeve got a few echoes as well so far. And she's connected to the main plot of the season. Her and Caleb. And the twist in Episode 2 as they go to find who is after them and why was awe strucking (with sprinkles of humor as only Maeve can do). But speaking of that...there's a LOT of humor which I did not feel was around last season. I would almost say Bernard's storyline is the weakest so far. But even that is intriguing (with a cameo of a past character at that...looks like the writers got the memo that fans were missing a lot of the past characters) in what he does and/or doesn't know. And I would be lying if I didn't suspect that different timelines were again in play this season...which was missing from last season versus Season 1 and 2. However, the storyline still feel pretty straight-forward like Season 3 was. But there's intrigue, mystery, body horror, and enough of the old headiness of the first few seasons to make me want to see what happens next. And again...I do like all the past characters coming back. Can't wait to see how it goes and do hope it does stick the landing which I felt Season 3 did not.

While you know I love you for your love of Kari on M2m...I have to kindly disagree. I would say they have been meh since Harmony's rampage at the start of May. And I don't know why. And I mostly definitely don't like that RIGHT NOW they are shoving Finn's family down my throat in a story (or two) that is not their story. I don't know where the rotation go because they used to have it. But now? Not so muh.

Soap Opera Report Card
Well for the mid-semester I would say... Y&R B- Though it appears to be heading for a C again, this is the most I've watched in a minute. B&B B Same for them. Re: most I've watched in a while. And May was a solid A because so much has been going on with A/B/C plots where I did not feel completely lost. GH C. Had a rhythm and just lost it. WTF happened? DAYS. Too behind to comment though seeing a Lumi wedding that doesn't happen might tempt me to go ahead and tune in to see the slap I just suspect Sami is about to throw.

Same. And you know Ashland is serious cuz he shaved. But seriously...it's just so bizarre to me. Moreso because I know I said in the thread a few months back around when Diane's return was starting that Victoria should tell any of them NOTHING. And that Old Victoria WOULD have done it and needed no man to do it. So to see that Victoria did EXACTLY THAT...I admit that was good and written to who her character used to be. Even her running off with Ashland to start her own company is written to how she is. So I didn't mind that possibility for story either. So to see her outsmart everyone right down to her arriving early and outsmarting Victor, too, just on arrival time, only for a wash, rinse, repeat storyline is just mind numbing. I sure any of us could think of new ways to take this story from the moment Victoria landed and revealed she got the money other than Adam feeling slighted, Nikki stuck in the middle again, and even Nick wanting to rejoin Newman...a move that will only destroy the truce he finally managed to get with Adam. At this point the plot twist of an Ashland kid would be nice. Or perhaps with Ashland now single...he might be moved into Diane's orbit and they could be a scheme team. Though with my luck...he will probably hook up with Giggly Heffa.

Now that I've had some time to think about it...I think I will say the same. LOVE the first half of Season 3. This dystopian world with its hints of cyberpunk. The mystery of what Dolores was up to. The mystery of who was the 5 orbs. The status of MiB. And questions of who was NuCharlotte. And not to even mention who is the man who has Maeve and what was his purpose since it seems it was HE buying up all the Delos stock. There was a lot going on...and the twists to get there (Maeve attempt to escape, the reveal of the orbs and thus NuCharlotte was EXCELLENT...and the identity crisis that emerged from that reveal) But then it was became MEH. Did I miss the scenes explaining the big globe? Oh, wait...there's TWO of these things? Oh, Caleb is someone Dolores met so that meeting in the park at the end of Episode 1 might have been set up? But wait...Dolores wants to SAVE humanity? And then to have Benard off in some subplot for reasons that made no sense...and what his name is a robot, too...? It was just sloppy writing that could have used tightening up because it did not seem clear to me versus the first 4 episodes where everything was well paced out. There was still highlights at the end. Love the return of Clementine and Shogun Assassin Chick. I would have to say Charlotte's arc was good right up until the post credit scene. And that post credit scene was WOW. And I loved Dolores vs Maeve Round 1 (Round 2...mmmm not as much lol). It was a long time coming and worth the wait for me. However, saying all of this...the fact it is STILL on my mind and while the simplest of all three seasons, it was still kinda heady. BUT they could have done all that so much better. But then again, this season might be like Season 2 to me where I like it better on a rewatch. And I believe Season 4 (now airing) is now on Episode 3... But...let's bust out that Season 4 trailer... ...because I am curious about the new mystery that is Christina.

7-5 So Victoria fooled everyone and got all of the money. I admit that it WOULD be something Victoria would do...I'm surprised that the writers would let her do it. So kudos. And now Ashland wants revenge. His exit story? Lol at Imani setting Nate up with this dinner when she know she did not make the reservation for 3. I continued to enjoy Diane lording it over Phyllis that she's back in. And I have to say that I've been really enjoying MS playing subtle. You can tell Phyllis wants to explode...BUT CAN'T. And it plays so well over MS's face and her body language. I know we were mentioning how the Phyllis who always is insecure and is her own worst enemy is the best Phyllis over Superwoman Phyllis...and this would be why. The subtlety is fascinating to watch. I'm finding myself over Billy being all up in Victoria's business. So is Lily judging from her expression.

7-6 Come on, Finn. Why didn't you at least try to fake not remembering anything? It's SHEILA. Le sigh. That said...while I did miss the Quinn finds out the affair episode (is that in the vault btw), lord, that wedding was a trip. Or Quinn trying to get to the wedding. And I do find it funny that given it was Paris that exposed Carter and Quinn's affair...now she has egg on her face at this wedding. On one hand, it was nice to see Quinn being the right beat to play given all Carter has been up to this year. But still on the other hand, it is sad that Paris was basically a side piece. No wonder Grace slapped Carter. lol. I did like the Sheila/Mike montage. But I don't see how Sheila can even nurse Finn. Did Li leave any notes? She is going to have to bring someone in. Paging...Bridget...? I've been enjoying the Katie pop-ups.
