Oh, you have no idea how spooky! lol. You see...Due to work inventory, trying to have a social life again, and now more family drama, I am still on LAST WEEK'S POTOMAC!!! Since that's Must See TV for me, I'm shocked that I've been so busy and tired that I haven't gotten around to it. Fingers crossed for tonight. And Canton? Really? BECAUSE lol I have a lost love there who was military and ex-co-worker. Found out another ex-co-worker just randomly moved there. Emphasis on random. He was our 'Jax' (VPR, not GH) so given they were...very close, shall we say...and he knows no one else out there...well...I didn't realize I was in that much of a triangle? Lord, my life... should write a soap. You did??? lol. I love me some Fabulous Ice and her Type A personality and love of Diet Coke. She reminds me of an old friend of mine...who is the same way. I enjoyed her on camera last season and she looks like she will be fun this season, too. And messy. And YAS that was a hilarious scene from the reunion. And I expect that if Lisa/Meredith fall out for real, it will be explosive. POTOMAC After dipping last week, ITTTT'S BACCCCK!!!! AND... SLC

SLC I guess great minds truly think alike since I see @Cat got to the premiere first. lol. I thought it was a great opener. And I also thought it was eerily similar to the whole view of POTOMAC Season 5 pre-fight. We got a flashforward to what was to come, some post-arrest scenes, and then flashback to two months earlier. And we got to focus on reunion fallout, how the girls were doing, and a light glaze over how they were affected pandemic. It looked like they are going to join the ranks of NJ, POTOMAC, etc where you can barely see hints of the pandemic at all. Good job, Production. That of course meant that we got to dig in a little bit more. I am curious to see if the arrest narrative will be done like last season Meredith drama was done. Like a slow burn soap opera. And by the way...SETH IS MINE, CAT!! 😜 JEN. Well, looky-looky at that tea that she spilled this episode. So Coach Shah was going to divorce her? Whatever could have changed in the last few months that he stayed? Things that made me go hmmmm. Or maybe that is why Jen is being nicer starting out...she had to be a Stepford wife for a while. I admit that I liked the less-is-more with her. We got to see more of her family...LIKE THE AUNT WHO STARTED THE MARY/JEN FEUD LAST SEASON!!! We got to see her hottie son Sheriff...who can get it. And we see the Jen/Heather friendship took a hit post-reunion. Coming into the season, Jen has a bit going on....husband drama, friends drama, and the forthcoming arrest. So...definitely not boring, but not over the top like she was last season. So far so good. HEATHER. I admit while I liked her shattering Fabulous Ice last season, a not nice side popped out Heather at the reunion. So I was not sure how I would take to her this season. I am sad to say that so far, outside of her family scenes and the scene where she ordered for everyone, my reaction to her was meh. Coming into the season she has her feud with Fabulous Ice and so far My Fabulous Ice is paying her dust really. MARY. Mary stays love. And I see in next week's sneak peek that is currently out we see ANOTHER of her relatives. She stays bring the koozy and I will not get over how effortless she shades Jen every chance she gets. WHITNEY. LORD, GUUURL!!! Her drunken self vs the cake was hilarious. Other than that, she is kinda there. JEANNIE. I agree with others. Great intro. Great addition. Good backstory. And they tied her to Fabulous Ice. It will be interesting to see how she reacts with the others. And her whole vibe reminds me of comedian/actress Awafina which I was not minding. And there is NOT A THING wrong with fugly. I once had a guest at my old job would was a perfect body Korean guy. There always seem to be a body stereotype on Koreans here in the US which he did not resemble at all. And I had the biggest crush, but my coworkers all though he was fugly. But hey, I like big noses, hate all you want. lol. It was not until his last day I found out the feelings WERE MUTUAL. Awwww But I get what Jeannie is saying. LISA. Let me put my hand on my chest Fabulous Ice style, mouth dropped open like her, and eyes widened like her and say I cannot believe how open she was. I LOVE IT!!!! There was always a hint of frost to her and I loved her style...everything EricFake wished she was. But that is all here this season. But there was something new that I loved. What was it? WARMTH. For someone who let us know from go that she will do what she wants, it was clear Fabulous Ice DID take note of how she came across and is pivoting while staying true to herself. And that makes so much more layered and complex for me. Coming into the season she has a good storyline too...her feud with Heather which is getting messier due to how they both want to be close to Jen. And then there is the growing (?) rift with our soap heroine Meredith due to the same issue. More messier since they have 10 years of friendship on the line. It was so surprising to me how last season they were thick as thieves, but this opener it is not as true as it was. MEREDITH. Awwww....our soap heroine. That was all she was last season. And it was a great relatable story. Her marriage unraveling...and the gossip that came from it, revealing who her real friends was. And like the soap heroines of old...just when they get some happiness, more drama come their way. Not only does our heroine have to navigate this growing rift with her BFF and the fact her friendship with the gossiper is OVER, but now she has to deal with her father's death (and that was so triggering for me since my father's anniversary is coming up and I am TRYING to not get in my feels this year) and the harassment of her son not helped by the gossiper. So like the soap heroines of old, Meredith is doing what she did from time to time...she is showing her strength. Her fire. There were hints last season that this beautiful cat had claws and was not afraid to get into it. Some of my favorite scenes was when she did this. So all I have to say so far for Meredith is...SECOND SEASON CURSE WHO? BORING WHAT? Great start. Can't wait for next week. @j swift lol. It will be some deleted scenes in one of their NEVER BEEN SEEN episodes cuz they will skip packing this close to the end of the season.

country (which admittedly seems odd given that the season was filmed at the second height of the pandemic)? If so, they'd better go already, we know it usually takes them a full episode to pack. Yep. My hometown of San Diego is the last cast trip. The rich area of town La Jolla to be exact.

EPISODE 1 In a word...WOW. I was a regular viewer of DAYS (and MELROSE PLACE so I like that jazzy opening btw) in the late 90s right up until I would say JER's second run. From there it was on and off ever since. And so far this screams 90s vibe to me with more of the modern elements of the show mixed in. I like while the main plot looks like it will the search for the jewels...oh, look DAYS 80 element...there are little plots going on. And I love those because they are touching on so much history. I know...unpopular opinion but I like Princess Gina, Carrie's relationship with Rafe, even Ben's serial killer history. Yeah, Lisa Rinna nailed it from scene 1. I will give her that credit. Oh, Billie, Billie, Billie. I stopped watching again as Ben and Ciara started. I had hoped that RC would do a decent job at redeeming Ben, but reading the threads here, it seems that all he did was prop Ben rather than write a redemption story so seeing their scenes in that light did nothing for me though I like RSW and VK's scene...though I miss edge Ciara. You know...Bo's daughter. I love Carrie. I love Anna. And I live for the moments when they get scenes together. And AP has aged well and did great as Austin. It goes without saying that I loved Wilson/Chad. And yes, they all looked yummy but we all know which one I like. And I have not been watching so I have to ask...so did Chad sleep with Gwen after all when he thought Abby and Jake might be doing something. I had assumed that Gwen made him THINK they slept together. I like seeing Eli and Lani happy. Nuff said. And Paulina is a hoot. And you can't go wrong with John and Marlena...who I LOVED in the late 90s. So far, so good.

I think you are right. It always felt like when Anna was returning, Carrie was leaving and vice versa. So I would say this is at least the third or fourth time they actually had scenes together as well. Great minds... Thank you. I figured.

I'm definitely curious to know what went down. Last year, Ole Coven wanted to rub it in with pictures post-reunion. This year? CRICKETS. HOWEVER, Garcelle and Sutton with out for celebratory drinks with their makeup teams. So...?hmmmmmm

But seriously, outside of the stray week where the development was jarring or some pet was heavily propped, I feel that from January up to now (I'm on September 1) GH has been soapy. Beats have been played. Plots have brought. And good developments. My only exception would be the two week post February Sweeps when it was clear someone's hand was in the writer room, keeping that sucky Peter around longer than ever when he should have been gotten written of and interesting developments like the Finn/Chase mixup was clumsily done. Kinda like now. It's clear someone's hand is in it again because all the villain who got great comeuppances are ALL back. And being propped to high heaven. And interesting plots like M/W/C are being abruptly ended when there was still plenty to do with it. This last week of August was truly a chord from the moment Mr. PLP showed back up. Now we have Cyrus back WITHOUT Laura...ugh.

I would ALMOST agree, but seeing Giselle and La Dame on BRAVO CHATROOM a few week ago, it looks like they have mended fences somewhat for now. They have a real ability to pull waaaaay back before they get toooo toxic so I feel they will mend it on the show soon enough. TBF, Askale is an actual friend. And the rumor was Vivian (Karen's actual friend in this past episode that I need to finish watching) was in the running as well. Otherwise, I would agree that they need to keep it with hiring real friend or friend groups. Then again POTOMAC has usually been good at who they ask or at least wise at it for better or for worse.

BH I'm sorry, but dare I say it? Is there blood in the water? Daily Mail mentioned that the only person EricFake is talking to is Ex Soap Opera Star. And as mentioned above, the blogs have been mentioning more and more that EricFake is livid with Kyle and Dorit. Well after this week's episode, if she was not, she should be now. For all of their *airquote*bonding*airquote* and *airquote*FoxForceFive*airquote*, after tonight I'm sorry Kyle and Dorit are totally railroading EricFake. Kyle trying to manipulate the dinners with her producing skills and Dorit with her jabs. At EricFake at that. And then Production with all the rollbacks that put EricFake in an extremely bad light. Add on PK this week (and looks like next week along with Mo, too) saying what WE ALL HAVE BEEN SAYING about EricFake's social media activities....AND WHAT SUTTON SAID ABOUT REPUTATION. Hmmmmm...I wonder who put him up to that? I would like to say Dorit did it alone because she wanted to keep her hands dirty, but Dorit is smart enough to see that maybe the audience would be on her side in this instance so it has to reach more...behind the scenes...and who on the cast is flawless at that...oh, yeah...KYLE. I wish I could say I felt sorry for that trifling heffa, but since I DON'T...all I wonder is how the reunion will go down. If I didn't know better, I feel like Kyle might actually be leading EricFake to the slaughter....I mean reunion. And it would be extremely well deserved comeuppance. That said...this episode was pretty good until the end where I felt it dragged a little, but I loved Garcelle showing them how a real host does it. And that food was gorgeous. Good fun. Light shade. Girl talk. See how simple it was. Oh, EricFake wants to leave because she can handle being in a room with Sutton? Well... You know how you were one to Sutton when she walked out? Guess what, trick? SAME. So the tea from next week? So that preview next week of everyone appearing to gang up on Garcelle might have to do with that interview she gave where she said the others were coming or her. Allegedly. KYLE. GUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRL!!! She was not even trying to hide it tonight at all. She was soooo talking out of both sides of her mouth. She was being one way to EricFake in the group and different in Confessional. Same with Sutton. Just self-producing like no one's business and being toooo messy...not in a good, fun way either. Sloppy in fact. I loved Garcelle having Sutton's back and calling her out at the dinner and then again at her own dinner. And Kyle wanted to sit there in her confessionals and be slick. See? Is that not what people say about her all the time...Garcelle was making a point and Kyle feels slighted when it was JUST....HER...MAKING...A...POINT? Totally glazed over it. Then again, when the point is to BE HONEST and what that ACTUALLY means and given Kyle does not know the meaning of that phrase...I guess I can see how Kyle overlooked it. I also loved that Sutton called her a*( out, too. And no amount of being a Dorit (c)Sutton and talking a lot and it being a looooooooooooooooong runon sentence that makes no sense will help. Truth? Garcelle and Sutton see Kyle for what she is doing. Now do they see her for what she is? Hmmmmmm. And I feel like Dorit and her are totally in cahoots after that talk with PK...interesting since he had EricFake's number in Season 7. DORIT. Speaking of her...payback must feel good. And by payback I mean PK being messy and reading the heck out of Trifling Heffa. He called it in Season 7. And for those people in the back who are STILL defending her, he explained it done in simple terms why Tom seems fake and phoney and why Trifling Heffa is looking ooooh so bad with her social media presence. At this point, if people don't get it, well...*side-eye* I liked that Dorit was subtly being on Sutton's side without being on her side. Probably because she was more in self-preservation mode. Hopefully, she will get smart enough to NOT keep coming for Garcelle. That won't end well for her. EX SOAP OPERA STAR. Speaking of people in cahoots, she has to be with Trifling Heffa. Makes me wonder if they are allegedly hiding money between them for her to be so quiet over this. They are even sharing selective amnesia now. Meanwhile, she still wants to come for Garcelle, too. And that won't end well for her either. TRIFLING HEFFA. In the actual iconic words of Kristen Doute... ...she can eat a bag of ^&*(. Running around like a rabid dog and attacking Sutton. Then being a C-U-Next-Tuesday as Sutton walked out like she don't care. Then getting bothered when Sutton was at Garcelle and doing exactly what Sutton did so now she's a little hypocrite. I was hoping she would have stayed at the dinner and ripped Trifling Heffa a new butthole. In hindsight, the best thing she could have done was leave. She made all of those hoes look crazy for thinking she was going to sit there and be ambushed. And I loved she called them out on that. And I loved Garcelle had her back. I am hoping going forward, she continues to keep one eye on Kyle. Especially now that she is starting to see how she works. And as usual, we got to see her glamour on display with her shutting down another store to shop. #thepowerthereallyrichhave Kyle could never... GARCELLE. First of all, I stay looking that she continues to wear Asa from SHAHS OF SUNSET's clothes and looks fab in them. I would die if Asa cameos in since she was the most authentic of that bunch IMHO...and she married a Jackson. That said...Garcelle continue to do no wrong. Having Sutton's back. Calling out Kyle. Calling out Ex Soap Opera Star. Helped Kathy check Trifling Heffa. And as usual, we see a bit of her life. I am not looking forward to any gangup on her next week AT ALL. Well, I hate to say it, but it was a pretty good episode. 5 episodes I believe to go before the reunion (which films Friday) and it turns out they have not shown the San Diego/LaJolla trip that I was looking forward to. The walls are closing in that trifling heffa and I am cautiously getting excited to see it. FInally...we are going to get Kyle vs her? Maybe? Really? Truly? Feels like it.
