General Hospital: December 2022 Discussion Thread
12-9 Well...as I see it...we have three events coming up...all perfect for climaxing some of these stories. 1) Sonny/Valentin shipment 2) Portia/Curtis on Jan 15...a month from now and just perfectly time with Spencer's release I see. 3)Anna/Valentin/Scorpio/Laura vs Victor I expect one of those to climax in February, but I do see the events being lined up between now and then and hope they build as good as the Maxie/Peter wedding with the Alex reveal did. That said...let me just go ahead and SWOON for these Sprina scenes. Spencer came in hot and darn it if I was not feeling their chemistry at the restaurant. And I've said it in the spoiler thread...I'm really and truly am loving the heck out of AC's hair. I could just hmmmmmmmmmmm. lol. I can even ignore the clear point in the conversation where editing had his old hairstyle pop in for a second. It came back. I too have felt the disjointedness of the writing as of late, but this was a pretty good week. Spencer got out of jail. Nik/Liz dealing with Victor and Finn (I still don't see any romance coming there @carolineg, but I do worry she will be thrown under the bus for Nik or just be a supporting character like she was with Finn). Anna/Valentin reunion with Martin makes three...and a fun adventure as they work to bring Victor down. The Esme mother reveal...which I admit to be conflicted about...but that's because I'm wondering if it checks out with what we have established about Esme so far. I hope that was not the last we saw of Jeff Webber. If so...ugh. It was nice to see the vets through the week however.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I look forward to it. And I agree. POTOMAC has been great. I know RHOM will bring it when I can watch it. And SLC has been typical slow burn chaotic. And so far having here where I live has been hilarious. And oooooooo how I cackled and hollored. Mary Crosby...gone, but most definitely not forgotten. hehe. I saaawwww!!!! And I saw clips and it looks so much better moving. So happy they did not leave out Kiki's confessionals this season. And I don't know if you read the synopsises for the next few episodes but it sounds like they confirm some filming at the nightclub from that article I posted months ago when Larsa and Lisa had the run-in. I hope the cameras caught EVERYTHING.

Superman: Legacy
I did as well. And I LOVE Gal. I would hate the good things (WW, Aquaman, the last Batman movie though not my favorite, MoS) swept away when all it needs is a good pivot. Though I might be eating my words if Flashpoint IS the pivot. It just feels like a new soap writer coming in and doing anything they want rather than following Douglas Marland's rule about waiting six months to see what's good and what's not. I agree with this. But isn't that how DC started...by being (well, trying) to be a darker universe against Marvel's more tongue-in-cheek approach. I am definitely curious, but cautious.

Both good choices to go, too. Makes me think of the time when Taylor was with the fireman.

That I agree. It is VERY insane.

Quantum Leap reboot
Happy to see it, but given that TV shows are getting their renewals turned into cancellations right and left...I hope that does not happen here.

Since It's Also Done...Grade November Sweeps 2022!!!!
I mean...now that I've watched. YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. C I actually found the month enjoyable...shocking myself. And then from there, the Devon/Abby sex that resulted in fallout for them and Chance/Amanda took off and the show got momentum from that that I felt kept going for the month. Then there was the drama with Chelesa. And I have enjoyed Adam/Sally/Nick as well as Diane vs the Coven and how it affects the Abbotts...not to mention Kyle/Summer. But it definitely was a slow start. BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL B- Also a slow start, but once the Thomas lie turned into a fashion show AND a wedding, it was off and running and the cast acted their a@# off. I didn't want to miss a minute. And as it was climaxing, there were hints of the next stories coming...like Dollar Bill vs Carter (about time!) and Sheila's next move. And it has not let up yet so I'll give them that. Classic soap. GENERAL HOSPITAL C Regardless of it also getting some momentum, it really did feel like things were being thrown at the wall to see what sticks. Outside of Holly's storyline coming and climaxing (and Laura coming back like a boss) and a turn in Liz's story, did anything happen? DAYS OF OUR LIVES No Peacock here so no response.

Young & Restless - November 2022 Episode Counts
I find this discussion quite interesting. And now I'm paying attention to how often Victor and Michael appear.

General Hospital: December 2022 Discussion Thread
12-5 Well...I like we continue to get aftermath of the Holly story. I take back what I said about Victor's motives. I thought we were at the end of what he wants, but it's one of those 'pieces of a puzzle' kinda of plan. Lord.. . That said...it does continue to be finally building to a climax. And I cannot wait. Because more and more, we have the vets all over it. I will take Laura, The Scorpio men, and Felicia anyway I can get them. After those great Liz scenes, I cannot believe she has more or less vanished. But...patience from what I have seen online. Why do I feel like Mac really is Cody's father...but Cody was really about that necklace?

Yeaaah this has offically stalled as a storyline. That said...loving AC with the wavy hair.

GH 12/5/22 Promo: Victor's Going Down
Same. If the rumor is true. I could have cared less about Valentin after the letdown of Helena's foreshadowing of his coming. But I LOVE him with Anna.

Y&R December 2022 Discussion Thread
12-9 So it's official. Imani is gone. Such a waste of a character with potential. I have to say though this week had some great scenes for what felt so uneven to me. So are Adam/Sally truly over? Or was the one last time and her moving on with Nick just setting up for a WTD storyline. I hope not. What I do hope is for Summer to put her foot down on Nick/Sally because if looks could kill, the one the actress gave when she walked into Society and saw Nick and Sally at breakfast would have turned Sally to fire and ashes. Perhaps there is some of her mother in her after all. And speaking of her mother, those scenes where it's Jack vs Phyllis also never disappoint. She definitely needs someone to wipe that smug look off her face. Is she going to be so smug if something happens to Harrison or Summer? But I like that Jack/Diane are going to try to turn the tables on the Coven. And I love, love, LOVED that scene where Diane heard something and that classic music cue played (thank you for the confirmation, @Dylan). It was so unexpected, but well done. Per the discussion over in the November Counts threads, I'm now watching to see when Victor and Michael appear next. I love that Devon vs Nate appear to be far from over. And it's just a matter of time before he finds out about Devon sleeping with Abby. And ooooooo I feel he is going to crow and call him out just as much as Amanda did. That Abby/Chance breakup/walkout scene was pretty good. I keep going back and forth over Tucker/Ashley. There are times when I see a spark and feel they got it. And then there are times I feel like TSJ is off. So my verdict is still out. For the most part, no. I feel there are slight moments. But they pass by quick.

B&B December 2022 Discussion Thread
12-9 That cliffhanger Friday ending though...lol. I loved that Finn figured it out. And I hollered at Sheila being in awe when she found out. Like mother, like son for her even as the walls close in on her. I liked this past week that as we deal with the fallout from the non-wedding there was so much going on. Finn and Steffy in the spotlight was just what the doctor ordered. Yeah, it was a bit repetitive in spots, but seeing a soapcouple working out a problem together. THIS is why we like a good couple. And it looks like we are going to get that Bill/Carter p*ssing contest after all. And I'm here for it.
