  1. Well, this is looking like another busy work weekend with it being a holiday so apologies for being early. DISCUSS!!!
  2. It goes to show to me how good that Nikki/Lily scene was that I didn't even notice. lol. But yes, over Billy. 8/22 really was. I was wondering did we get a new writer in.
  3. RHoDubai Oh...?? More Sara/Saba fallout tea...
  4. WHhhhhhhhhhhhhhattttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt?????????????????
  5. Hehe. I've actually been enjoying B&B more than all the soaps surprisingly. But it appears to be in one of those grooves where it can bounce more than one story at a time (off the top of my head 4 is running) so it's a lot more enjoyable since if there is one story I don't like (looking at you, NuTaylor!), there's other things...and hotties...to look at. lol. Don't get me started on Billy. I think of the gif of the old black woman in the wheelchair thinking of that screaming scene. Am I supposed to care about that prick? Cuz I DON'T. They haven't gotten to that yet with Faith/Lucy so I'll reserve judgment until I see the scenes which I think is on yesterday and Tuesday episode. Right now, it just seems like Lucy might be a bit obsessive like her biological mother for me. Though I do feel an undercurrent. And I am looking forward to JM without that annoying jacket on. I agree with your idea though. If only JG could write. This fling wouldn't be coming out in private right now...for example.
  6. 8-16 Okay, that was pretty good. And oh, look!! The return of the Friday cliffhanger! Quite a few. lol. Mmmm Brennan in a suit...how Beast of them. lol. I enjoyed his interacting with Laura. And it did not grrr as much with him and Anna. It continues to be a testament to PM's work on doing an organic connection between Cody and James as well as doing the reveal of Cody's being Mac's son...and thus more reason to care about him...that the James Running Away storyline had me surprisingly invested. I loved everyone involved from Maxie, Spin, Felicia (good on her for calling Mac out), Mac, and even Sasha. And wow...the deliciously soapy tea of James also now knowing about Willow/Drew...my interest in that story angle is also piqued. And finally...Mac acknowledging Cody as his son FINALLY. A nice somewhat tidy end to that arc. Now...the Three Stooges...I mean, Scotty, Wagger, and Ava...just ugh at the woulda coulda shoulda. Though it already is apparent that Wagger will be Ava's way of wiggling out of things. Though Jason now knowing she knew ahead of time might play a role later. And THANK GOD, that pharmacist said aloud that it was Val who did Sonny's meds in...and another dangling plot thread tied up. And also at least Jason knows Ava WAS NOT behind it. That said... Wagger using the angle of the pictures defense on Kristina. My only regret is that Ava herself did not think of it first. But again...we have to pull her out of femme fatale mode le sigh. But I know Maury West will play it to the hilt as a victim so I can't wait for it. And it now becomes REALLY personal for Sonny. So I am actually excited. I continue to enjoy the growing rift between TJ and Molly. TJ is fed the frak up, and it's shocking to see. Not shocking to see Stella and Curtis. I had almost forgot about him. lol. And I will take Alexis any way I can get her. And I love that she already can sense that Kristina asked Sonny to take Ava out. RME at the propping of Natalia. But good to see Lucy. And Tracy was reading people down so I love it. Still annoyed at the 180 on BrookLynn. A kiss secret. A mastermind reveal. A false arrest. Yep. That's a lot of cliffhangers for a Friday.
  7. Time will tell. Let's just hope that time is given versus those who did not get it.
  8. 8-23 JG is really allergic to writing a reveal at an event, isn't he? I knew Chelesa couldn't keep it together. So she was going to blow her own life up with the secret of the Adam fling eventually. But she couldn't wait until the launch of AC to do it for it to come out...and just as Victor snaps up the company from Billy Boy? Am I asking too much? Just ugh on her. I think the only thing that makes me care about it at all is Sally and her connection to Adam. So him lying to her was something I cared about. As for Billy... I was surprised to see Faith and Lucy. I did like to see that Faith was a little bit more honest and tried to let Lucy down easy. But it looks like next week is going to take a turn. And speaking of turns...where is this Sharon storyline going? Because that spectre of Camereon has me thinking she wants to go off her rocker and do something to Daniel now. But would she? Decent week overall.
  9. Not at all. Typical show mess.
  10. I trust Errol as well since we know he fact checks down to the bone. So going back to discussions months ago, there is clearly some BTS drama going on at GH. And it is NOT all about the money. And it is not shocking...especially after everything that happened with PM...to see that some of it is personal. The giggle I just let out. + 1 Exactly.
  11. 8-23 OMG!!! How I gasped at Steffy seeing Luna kiss Bill. This is crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But a great week. Cuz wow!!! Yeah, I'm over Hope acting innocent when she has been acting like a mini-vixen. Just own it, Girl!!! lol. So I didn't mind NuTaylor telling her like it is. I did like seeing RJ and them arms. And Nipples. That said...he must have got the arm waving from Scott Clifton because that's the only thing I'm noticing about his acting. I was so liking how the plotlines have been flowing so well. Steffy vs Hope. Then she ran to Liam. And by being at Bill's she saw that kiss. And then the look of Luna seeing Steffy in the mirror. And just when I thought it couldn't get better...Steffy gets put into the Luna storyline and FIGURES OUT THAT LUNA MIGHT BE CRAY CRAY. Too late mind you. Cuz when Luna offered her tea...I knew. But drugged? I mean...does that mean Luna truly is the killer? Cuz I got questions. Like...why...speaking rhetorically.
  12. Very. I loved Brody on OLTL. So much talent...they stayed around past his original arc with Bitchy Bangs. He was wasted. Ironically what is about to happen is similar if not the same to what is about to happen to someone else. To give you an idea. Amen. Hotties but *shivers*
  13. RHoDubai Well, I look forward to seeing what you think @Soaplovers given your feelings for Lesa. Another great episode. I can't believe the finale is next week!!! Allegedly. Someone made mention of a dead week in Bravo's schedule so I'm ready to see if there is going to be a break in airing for it or the reunion episodes. It was nice and clean fun until they came for Lesa. And Lesa GATHERED. Bad look? Maybe. Justified? Yes. It's been established not to come for Lesa's business. And she really didn't do anything wrong in my eye. Her expanding her business is boss moves. Advertising on a show is a given and smart...a bonus/reason for being on a Housewives show. And it's not unusual for a business to rent a venue and fill it full of merchandise and projects and gifts. There was a lot of synchronicity in how she set it up with Taleen doing the yoga as well. And the first frame of footage we saw of Lesa was a tight Jamaican beat and her doing business. And Lesa knew it had to be perfect. But that turned into a petty fight that turned into a big gang-up. But the fun. It was great to see the wives with the husbands. It was fun to see the Ayan/Lesa friendship on full display...so they were back to normal (so what happens in the finale cuz Ayan had her back all through this episode?)? And don't get me started on seeing Stanbury's parents, warming my LADIES OF LONDON heart. STANBURY. lol. She continued to have a great season. And this week we got to meet her parents. And it was just so fascinating to watch. Caroline and her mother are very alive and yet so different. Yes, times have changed. And Caroline has grown from her upbringing. I feel that she has. She is reserved still and can bring her ole LADIES OF LONDON ice to the surface, but she IS more relaxed. Meanwhile, her and Sergio were background to the group mess, but she still gave fun Confessionals. TALEEN. Yeah, I think I'm over her if not her husband cuz Gemini. That said...just lord. I think I'm just exhausted because there were moments where I liked her. I liked her at Lesa's event and how she helped out. And I liked her on the golf course. And I loved that she was trying (?) to give Lesa the heads-up that Brooks felt a way about the event...though Brooks could have mentioned it herself. Where she lost me was her trying to jump in the group scenes when Brooks and Lesa finally talked about what Brooks's issues are. It deflected off Brooks and Lesa's talk and resolving it. And while she did not rise to the bait at the last dinner cuz she was already properly dragged earlier, Taleen just could not help herself and Lesa proceeded to gather her all the way together again. Me and Brooks were like: Cuz Lesa was bound and determined to finish Taleen off. And the sad thing is Taleen can't step to Lesa like she tried with Brooks cuz as anyone who saw the COLLEGE HILL clip...Lesa don't play...and her accent was already out. Don't try your luck. BROOKS. I see she's being messy online as I talk so let me go ahead and say my thoughts about the episode LOL. Definitely a case for me of 'you sure make it hard to love you.' I couldn't figure out if she was being typical Housewife-Throwing-Shade-At-Housewife-Event or if she really does not like seeing another woman succeed. She saying all this mess about Lesa's event and how she was upset that it wasn't at HER spa. And then Lesa found out, gathered her together, and she was STILL mad. Then Ayan had to get her lick back and set Brooks up to get dragged by Lesa TWICE. Where is my diva at? lol. Cuz she became quiet as a church mouse when Lesa threw up the tea that 1) she does not have black clientele at her spa which is what Lesa is trying to cater to for this launch and 2) her own glam squad don't work at her spa so who is she to be mad at ANYBODY??? I love you, Brooks, but Lesa got you and Tweedledum next to her. SARA. Another episode. Another section where Saba (who okay @Cat you win I have warmed up to her) tried to talk so much sense to her. What surprised me about the scene was the fact that that has very much been my problem over the last two years so I see what Saba is saying, but I don't feel Sara is healed herself enough to hear it. In fact, until Sara heals herself and understands who she is, rather than the persona she puts on on camera, her life is not going to be as fulfilling as she would like it to be, especially for someone who is as spiritual as she is. As a spiritual person myself, I know that is a VERY hard lesson to learn. But if I can come out of Mercury Retrograde (ending today) in a much better and introspected person ready to take on his goals and dreams, I feel she can do it as well. AYAN. Clearly the comic relief this episode. I didn't hate it. And I love how she has always said that her only workout is her husband and that continues to be so. lol. And this episode was just such a spotlight for her and Lesa's friendship. So I still am wondering what happens next week that it dissolves. Cuz their cart ride was hilarious. They had the cute 'i like massage/you paying?' moment. And as I said before, Ayan had Lesa's back at every turn of the gang-up. Whether it was her in the background frame snapping her fingers at Lesa vs Taleen Round 1 or her setting Brooks up to get dragged again at the Gang-Up Attempt Number 2. LESA. QUEEN. Cuz that was petty drama...the kind I like mind you. But it did take on a whole other thing as the episode went on and snowballed. Was she over the line? Hmmm standing on business for her business? I would say no. She went as far as she had to to get her point across. In fact, I felt she said it at the last dinner...she was matching their energy. So if they started to yell, guess what she was doing? I did not at all like Sara trying to label her as aggressive...cuz We the audience see what you are doing saying that about a BLACK WOMAN. And we are NOT impressed. And right when Lesa was about to go too far, her husband was right there to pull her back from it. She let them ladies know...there's no gang-up/takedown happening tonight....LOL!!! THANKS FOR PLAYING!!! Other than that...I can't believe we are at the end of the season. I'm going to miss them all really.
  14. I was thinking the same re: LH. Lindsay seems completely happy just directing.
  15. Very good to hear coming from you. Hmmmmm A waste for sure. Totally. With his FOINE short self. But journalist doesn't mean boring. It's all in how it plays out. And I felt Lulu was at least good at it. And then look at Alexis. I thought her becoming a publisher was a much ado about nothing and so odd, but as it went on, it had some meat to it and potential for story. She grew. And that made her potential return to being a lawyer so fascinating to watch. I wish PM was still around because I wanted to see if this would be a dilemma for her since she was good at both jobs. Ahhhh! I see. Makes a good case for the Rules, too, given COD always came across more old school.
  16. And a hanging thread from my days of watching BH has been wrapped. A cohesive best for reunion looks. And @Cat Lesa says the dress changes colors, too.
  17. Again, I would say someone is out to get or humble FV and has for some time. Thus the PM mess. Hahahahaha We see each other!!! Very much a statement.
  18. See? I was just about to say writing shift. And it definitely felt like a shift. But interesting that that is one year into CVE and DOC's run. Or is this after DOC joins?
  19. 8-22 Yesterday it was the Nikki/Lily scenes and Victor/Billy scenes. This episode it was the underrated Adam/Kyle scenes...next generation characters who SHOULD be in more scenes...and the Adam/Jack scenes. It's clear there are some better (and probably new) writers over at Y&R. Cuz this episode was a real gem. I was actually shocked to see the episode start off with Kyle and Adam. And watching them interact...and realizing they are both having drama with their kids...I was wondering why we don't see the next generation interact as much. Especially right now when they were clear mirror images of each other at this point in time. Well-played whoever wrote that. And I thought that Adam/Jack scene was delicious. Given that Adam definitely knows more than Jack what's going on. But Adam/Jack always have good chemistry so it was good to see it on display. So it was safe to see the episode lose its spark due to Billy/Chelesa/Adam/Sally. It looks like the truth is about to come out. We will see. I would rather it not, but we will see.
  20. Same as well, but I suspect that she will not be back as long as FV is there.
