  1. Honestly, I feel in my gut that EK/PM have already decided who is leaving and the writing we are seeing now is the buildup to it. Instead of 6 months per the Rules...it's going to be May Sweeps at earliest or end of Summer at the latest. And when it happens, we are going to realize they were planning it out all along. But...that's just my gut.
  2. RHOP Well, I've put it off for a while...but I did finish the RHOP season proper. The divide, the divide, the divide. Even the last set of episodes the divide was a main reason for what happened. But I'll say THIS...why is that RHOA can have a divide (Talls v Smalls, Pretty v Beasts, Aunties v Nieces) and STILL give us a show and RHOP...no longer can't? The divide has been all-consuming now and not in a chess game way like RHOBH which used to make it fun (for me) to watch as I tried to figure out alliances and next moves, making it fascinating. At least, the finale gave a turning point in the divide, but moving into the reunion...if there is going to be no resolution...well...those who saw the reunion know the ending. I again have to lay it at Production. I felt this season had a STRONG start...everyone and their mama coming for Robyn Juan's Roommate. The world. Her castmates. Even her friends. And even Production themselves. And I was here for each and every moment of it. But then the cast trip happened and...the season died on the vine. In fact, Production pivoted...not unlike BH Season 10 where it looked like it was a Kyle takedown season and suddenly it was all about Denise. It became clear to me when the episode about the finale was all about the other storyline going on this season. So much of the focus had been on Roommate, I had forgotten about other storylines period. Candiace and her career plus baby. Wendy and her online show. Ashley and the divorce. And lest we forget...Messy Mia!!! The season would have been better if it had laced these stories into the main one...namely the Roommate. But...let's talk about Messy Mia. People have questioned her getting First Chair at the reunion versus Gizelle. In light of putting Gizelle on notice while still letting her skate, I felt that move was a subtle case of putting Gizelle's next target on notice and I hope it backfires, leading to Gizelle's overdue takedown. Mia IS NOT Monique. And Monique had NO problem giving it to Gizelle. Mia has successfully this season uspered Gizelle's position as Bone Collector, Pot Stirrer, and Delusional Housewife and still doing it while all looking FIERCE for someone with NO money. Allegedly. If Gizelle comes for her...oh, it will be a mess. And even at the reunion, Messy Mia had no problem spilling Gizelle's own tea. So...tread lightly, Giz. In terms of the season, Messy Mia stayed giving content. Her slowly deteriorating marriage to G...and the bombshell of her first love. Her fun rivalry with La Dame. Her reveal of sexual assault and how it impacted her always fascinating dynamic with BFF Jacqueline who should have been a FOH again this year (cuz you all know Battle of the Receipts last reunion lives RENT FREE in my head). Everyone else might have been hiding their secrets. Not Mia. Or was she? She does her hiding in such a coy way...a GOOD Housewife technique that works for her...and favors (for me) Sheree on RHOA. Though to no one having storyline, she rose through the ranks to become a factor. Who knew? lol. And lest we forgot, Messy Mia this season was asking the questions we all wanted to know and getting away with it (Juan and the hotel, Ashley's divorce, her new man) and most importantly, being able and willing to still film with everyone. I always like how she still respect even people she dislikes. And that brings us to the finale. Oh, that fight. I am STILL shocked Production did not want to buy the footage from TMZ. But I guess we can see why now. They would have not been able to let Ashley skate if everyone saw that that fight was started by Sesame Street. I was happy to see that...rumors aside...La Dame was still there. I loved Keirana was able to get her story out. But it was STILL gross they tried to paint Candiace as the aggressor. A great Come to Jesus moment by La Dame. And that last ten minute. Wooooow. Gee spilling all the Mia tea and dragging her. The cameras everywhere!!! The reactions!!! The authenticity!!! From Messy Mia of all people. And the questions it presents...just a trainwreck, but here for it.
  3. Lol. That has crossed my mind, too, watching. I won't be surprised if that beat gets played, too. I might even fangirl giggle. Lol. I know the running joke here has always been that I take forevvver with this show and keeping up...with the watching if not the board...but I admit that I've been consistent since PM...which was as I expected. Only a week behind come Tuesday. lol. Even a slow week for me has a spoil of riches. So much for my eyes and mind.
  4. Well boo!!! lol It's been funny how little I've seen in terms of reviews and thoughts on it so far. I'm shocked or just too busy.
  5. 4-15 I find it weird that SB is looking like a whole snack body wise. lol. That said...watching Jason with Diane and now Carly, I can't help, but feel they seem to be giving Jason the story that Drew had when he was Jason. The disconnection from Sonny, the mob (?), and that kind of life. To have a new life that is...legal. Cuz Jason wanting to use his half of Sonny's coffee business to make COFFEE??? Okay...so I expect a connection with the Quartermaines again soon. And the more they do this...it simply makes Drew look more and more irrelevant...proving Drew right about his place in Carly's life, but still...LOL. Okay so they are not going to reveal the Drew/Nina hate sex yet. Hmmmm...interesting. Something to explode in May Sweeps? Speaking of...are we setting up for Wagger/Carly? Because it does not feel like they are going to do Jason/Carly as lovers this time around, but you can feel their connection for sure. I have been loving Alexis's storyline. With new writers coming in...usually the new writers would just immediately come in, give Alexis her job back, and then DONE!!! I like that we are seeing Alexis long for it, debate it, see that headaches *cough*NinaGossipGuy*cough* aside she loves her new job, and just the soulsearching of it. And NLG is doing it sooo well. The ending is going to feel earned and it's been a minute to see a complete(?) character based story. It has a nice push/pull, too. Most of me is for Alexis becoming a lawyer again. Then there will be a moment where you see how good she is at the Intruder. And then alas. But speaking of push/pull...I've been feeling that way about the writing. This past week, there was so much talking going. The audience getting into the characters' lifes. What comes to mind is Tracy teaching BLQ about money and a man's pride, Sasha in the stables, Alexis period, Curtis's progress. It feels like a little bit too much talk at times, but there's also a feeling of momentum going on. And I become curious about where it is going to go. Speaking of...Ava with the pills. I admit I was wondering if it was going to go to some Sonny/Ava thing or a reveal that perhaps she's in cahoots with Val, but it does not seem like she's done anything with the med tempering and might now figure out someone is tempering with Sonny's meds...right as Jason, Carly, and Drew are questioning her presence in Sonny's life...is inspired. Speaking of Val...Anna's mind is starting to click. And I love seeing Anna in Boss Bitca mode. And the fact she's slowly starting to figure out Pikeman. A cat and mouse game between her and Val who are both still smarting from their breakup...I'm down.
  6. And more reason of why I loved the development of Stefan during said time I mentioned above that appears to have snowballed. But it was not the first time a show casted a couple that were love interests on one show and hoped for lightning in a bottle twice. Definitely was not the last, either. I simply loved that I knew SN as Stefan before I knew him as Patch. And the night and day was just such an awesome example of how well an actor can be. I see no Patch in Stefan and I never saw Stefan in Patch. Well done, SN. Thank you. Bullseye!!! Also love the other info you spilled. I vaguely remember it so it was nice to be refreshed.
  7. I saw this and wanted to take the time to respond. I personally did not see the scenes because the episode itself was kicked off my possessed tv system before I saw it. Thankfully, B&B is very good...okay overdoes...at their flashbacks. I did not like that the episode itself appeared to turn into a witch hunt. Or that it triggered people. As someone who has been triggered by things in media I watch...I get that. However, this situation got no trigger...at least for me. And I've seen SA been done much worse to trigger. That said...my humble opinion is the same as the above. Moreso because I am finally watching 4/15 and 4/16 and the writers PLAY...THE...BEAT. Which love it or hate it so far they are turning on everything you just said. Which to me and them being the writers is also what they felt happened. And they are at least good enough writers to have the counterpoint to it. I was in awe, they figured out that the Zenda/Luna might be a sensitive subject to some. That they might have written that sloppily and needed to deal with it in some way. For that, I will give them some respect. To me, it was more a misunderstanding (that could have been written better by the writers or not written at all but we all know how I felt about the RJ/Luna/Zende triangle from the beginning) than I would feel is a rape...a word I feel has also been thrown around too loosely. But now that the discussion has made it on screeen, we can move forward with opinions and not pointed words. Speaking of...4/15...4/16 It was good to finally see Poppy show up. She's vanished so much since the 'mints' appeared. Is she even still with Bill? Yeah, this ten toes storyline is starting to drag. Is it Sheila? Is it Sugar? Is Deacon just losing his mind? lol. No...no more Hope/Liam. My kind of toes. But wait...is this from...??? Let me hush. 😜
  8. Oooo tea. lol. But I figured. I definitely feel PM will be taking that story if he chooses to continue it to a much, much better place.
  9. The real question is...with Patrick and Michelle back in the game...is that the LAST win for DAYS in the foreseeable future?
  10. Hehe. Also my first thought as well. Friday cliffhanger anyone? You're not the only one as a fan of the comic AND the original show...not to mention that first major arc in Season 3.
  11. I can see that. Imagine seeing Stephan Nickels and not knowing he played Steve on DAYS...which was me lol. Oh, the night and day. I definitely get the involvement with Stefan. I found him as a young teenager endlessly fascinating. But I always did like the tall, dark, and handsomely silent type. lol. But that's how I felt about Nik back in...lol. But I can see why Nik isn't everyone's cup of tea back then now that I'm older. I can respect your thoughts. Hope I'm not coming across prickly. Ah!!! I see. hehe.
  12. 4-9 Well, darn!!! I wasn't necessarily shocked that we are moving into Jason vs Sonny...not helped by the manipulation of Sonny's med. But watching Diane in between Jason and Sonny really is making me ask questions. Most importantly...with all of Jason's asset reverting back to him...how does all the ELQ story up to this point that happened after he 'died' get affected. And as the first...if not one of the first to call the Drew/Nina hate sex...YASSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And scruffy Drew at that. MMMMMMMMMMMMmm!!! lol. To much more hating. hehe. Ava should is rocking those bangs. I still can't get over how quickly I feel that Willow forgave Michael. Idk. I liked it. Broody and gothic before I knew what gothic was. And there was so many good moments. Well...before it went downhill from what I remember. Stefan/Bobbie stand out. The Baccahanlia itself stood out. And of course, the Laura/Katherine talk and the complexity of it...what did it say of Stefan's 'love' of Katherine if he was truly making her over in Laura's image...something no one would have said in that moment...only for Katherine to die...and coming back looking like Helena, Jr. lol. I would say Nik and OriginalGia. But even that was a recast Nik. Nope. Because then it would be a SPOILER. Same. For the time it was different...and I still see the promo in my head of the 'ring'...and the mystery of what had Laura spooked. That gothic vibe. But yeah...overuse to silly reasons probably did that in. And the writing.
  13. 4-9 Well, darn!!! I wasn't necessarily shocked that we are moving into Jason vs Sonny...not helped by the manipulation of Sonny's med. 14. Oh? I don't mind his writing at all.
  15. 4-12 See? This is what I was afraid of. Ashley's story has dominated this whole week. It has been on all week. And something new has happened all week. And the movement has been exquisite. And BOOM!!! She becomes the B story...okay, C story for Victor/Nikki. I wouldn't have minded so much since it IS Victor/Nikki's 40th anniversary...but all we got from them is a 5 second clip and a lot of talking and speeches WITHOUT flashbacks? I do respect that Ashley mentions littered Friday's episode regardless of the return of the Newman focus to keep the relevance of the clear A story this week. But going back to Wednesday's cliffhanger...I loved we got a bit of a mini-climax...for now...in Ashley's story. REAL Ashley made it back at last. And had a good coda with Traci. But it was not without her vs the Abbotts giving more great scenes for them. And Diane. And now they added in Sharon. She really is turning into Marlena Evans when it comes to these things, ain't she? And then here comes Jordan... ...UGH. Okay, I will give some credit. Since Summer vs Claire has really been the B story this past week, the add-in of recast Harrison, brings it to the frontburner. So it does bring us to the next leg of Claire's story...trying to see her blend into her REAL family now that the main push in the Jordan storyline is over. From that perspective...I can see Summer's side. And the looks AL was giving...WOOF. It looks like more of the same in the current week. I almost wish they had gone with this angle post her getting out of the sanitarium. And...I LOVE Nikki's dress. And how great Victor looked and how EB looked at her with such love in his eyes. And there was even a look EB had during his brief talk with Adam that was so fatherly that I really loved. Oh God, yes. Eileen has been perfection. So meh none of her on Friday. I enjoyed having her all week last week. tbf, JG has made it no secret that his favorite family is the Abbotts. And it does show. I think you would love the whole week involving Ashley...from the coda of Friday 4/5 to 4/11...it has been the main story. And to see the story structure with cliffhangers every day this past week has been nice and refreshing. From what I remember re: Mamie. Mamie was in cahoots with Tucker. He was her silent partner. Payback on Jill while Tucker got closer to Devon and Mamie got to keep the company just for the Winters as they tried to repair the rift between Devon, Lily, and Nate. Which she eventually did. Now that everything has been out in the open and due to Jill and Mamie's continued dislike of each other, Jill brought Billy and Chance on to C-W so she was not basically outnumbered with Devon, Lily, and a returned Nate who thanks to Mamie (and Tucker's messiness with Audra, Ashley, and his own business dealings) did mend his relationship with Devon and Lily. However, the story has more of less stalled now and Jill has been nowhere in sight and Mamie's appearance has been too scattershot for my liking. If you didn't asked, I wouldn't have thought about it at all. It's been turned from an interesting B plot to basically a D plot. I want to say right now...the last time it was touched on has been Billy trying to use Chance. Chance retired from being our police guy and joined C-W, making Jill (and Nina) happy. Billy was acting like a mentor. But Billy also started to ruffle Devon's feather. Chance went to Nate for advice and Nate has kinda turned into more of a mentor than Billy which has caused some friction between Billy and Chance. I don't know if you were watching when it was Devon vs Nate over that music festival (when the subtext was the hostility between the two over Nate's hand/Elena/etc.), but they basically recycled the music festival plot with Chance=Nate, Billy=Devon. The writers even gave a line name checking the plot as if they read this board because I said the same thing. In any case, Nate told Mamie about the friction and wanted to see if Nate would fan the flames. Meanwhile...Billy vs Devon was getting more frequent...not helped by the triangle between Heather/Daniel/Lily (which got backburnered when CK went on maternity leave)...which became another thing for Billy and Devon to argue over. Nothing has been touched on in terms of the C-W plot since Lily returned though. I know that sounds like a LOT but it has been scattered scenes here and there over the last few months since the focus has been on the Abbotts and (especially) the Newmans vs Jordan. I feel it's a story that sadly fell through the cracks. PS. If you don't want to start from 4/5...I would say the last 5 to 10 minutes of 4/09 and then 4/10, 4/11 (the main parts of the invention) were superb. The whole week has a nice flow in that story up until 4/12.
  16. 4-12 For a week where nothing happened, I have to admit that I didn't mind it at all. I can only assume...similar to this past week of Y&R...it has to do with the acting and not the story of it all. The Tale of the Ten Toes has been funny to watch for sure. I still felt like shaking Deacon at times but SK has been giving it his all. Ridge could STFU though. But at least people are wondering if it is true. And to hear the name Sugar...uh oh? Though when was the last time Sugar was around? And seeing the cameo for who shows up this current week...I'm surprised. RJ/Luna/Zende. Well, at least it gave some B story. I feel I'm over it outside of seeing the RJ actor in those clothes that look painted on. Perhaps I'm ready for the next beat...wasn't there supposed to be some new characters coming up to interact with RJ/Luna? I did like the Zende/Carter scene. Liam will always be ugh.
  17. RHOP And Monique enters the chat...
  18. NY Not related to Crystal and apparently...might be problematic... RHOM If this is true...I am DEAD.
  19. Awww I see. Never say never. lol. He might be THAT thirsty enough.
  20. Dignity? BRAVO? Chhiiilde. But seriously, add on the fact that Kathy allegedly is in talks to come back next season as Kyle's lapdog full time...it could be a beautiful chao of chess if LVP came back, too.
  21. Oh, I believe it. I love intrigues.
  22. And to end out the night...it seems that RHoDC's only season has made it over to Peacock. So...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
