  1. And then there was three cuz I read that and went
  2. 10-29 Well...gotta get the good out of the way. It was nice to see Robert Adamson as Michael again. And I LIVED for Tracy/Ned vs Drew. Not that she doesn't all the time, but JE was playing cat that ate the canary to the hilt. And her reaction to Ned naming James as the person who heard was priceless. Drew has become so unsufferable, but he has ALWAYS been that when it comes to ELQ which I have always felt was Tracy and Ned's right as the OG Qs so I was living for them blackmailing him. And it says something about how Drew feels as a Q that he immediately gave himself up. You know what? The breakdowns of Cody and Sasha are actually giving. And I feel that's because the actors not the writing. I was worried that Sasha was adjusting better than Cody, until that coda at the end. Good. And even the flashback to what Cody said was well-done. Even watching it for real, I felt that scene resonated so well-done on JK who also did a good job with Drunk Cody. And the whole plot beat reached a new level of good when MAC walked into the station. I know what today means for me so seeing a father/son scene play out before me with an actor who I love who plays a great dad was going to make me go awww. And that sells the character of Cody more which is why we should always have our vets. It's a small thing...but I liked the follow-up on Lulu/Sam's surgery. Go, Isaiah. So in a way...Lucky helped. Now the bad... Drew couldn't even debate being blackmailed for an episode? I don't know whether to call him a POS...cuz he only did it to spite Ned/Tracy rather than to protect Michael...or a case of rushed writing. And speaking of the reveal to Michael...how...anticlimatic? I was at least hoping for it to happen at an election rally or something. And Dante proposing to Sam. Salt in wound much?
  3. 10-25 Well, that was not at all a boring week. lol. And that was good Friday cliffhanger-ness. I now am on the bandwagon that Jack and Diane are faking it. Or like was said above, that Diane is at least faking it. I was Traci, too, when Jack just upped and told Diane to get out of the house. And of all people to go to, Diane went to VICTOR??? Yeah, I am thinking set-up. And some of the desired effect, Kyle is slowly coming back into the fold with Jack. JG needs to make up his mind. Is Sharon really out of her mind or is she being drugged? He is still playing too fast and too loose with the storyline. And then Giggly Heffa is now on to her. Well...good if it brings this storyline to an end. SC is bringing it though, and I loved the clothes change for sure and her VOs to herself. And then the cliffhanger!! I loved seeing Danny and that he's taking care of Lucy. But Chance having to arrest Daniel. Ooooo Summer ain't going to like that. smh. But we know I like seeing him in the mix so YAY!
  4. 10-28 Well, now that I have a target date after all...lol. But it seems like this week is going to be a chore. And it's not helped by the fact everything coming into this week just seems sloppy to me. Friday's episode I said that there were some nuggets of good to it, but the way FV and these New/Old Writers do the episodes do not at all allow for those good nuggets of storytelling to even breathe. So it was just a mess. I can say the same for today. Except I didn't see ANY good nuggets to even mine. I know I've gone on record here and said how much I loathe seeing Whiny Anna. And I loved Anna got her power back under PM. So her running to Brennan (as always looking FOINE in his suit...without jacket at that. mmm) to BEG him to help her find Val. For Charlotte's sake. TO BEG??? HELL TO THE NO. Cuz the Anna I know would have at least asked. But from there, she would have found her own plan and got to moving with the quickness, kicking butt along the way. So thankfully, the end with her teaming up with Spinelli was in character. That writing between her and Brennan was so slanted it was not at all funny. I think I see the Heather good-bye scenes differently than most. But it could have been written better. She after all has to come back to play out the 'is she really cured' part of that whole arc. Otherwise, the arc is pointless. But of course, I would have preferred that arc under PM who at least would play the nuances of that silly storyline. As is, I would rather she stayed gone, too. The fact that the only thing on this episode I actually felt invested in was Sasha telling Cody they are cousins I just find telling. Because I've been meh about the story line since that coda of Sasha calling Holly Mother. They might be doing Holly dirty, but the writers do a good job of giving her a beginning, middle, and end to her arcs when she comes into town as of late. So...credit where credit is due. It just seems like a waste with Sasha/Cody given the build-up. Though the possibility of Cody going back to his shady roots...since GH is lacking in a scoundrel as of late...is intriguing enough. Getting drunk and punching Drew is a great start. And if Mac can be the one to pull him back in the end...I would be down.
  5. That be completely in the Whedon Playbook for sure. But I digress... Oh, yeah...dreading. Cuz this week and last week has already been picked apart. And goodness knows I've been playing catch-up and picking up on how sloppy it has all been.
  6. Like I just said online elsewhere and said in other threads, when an actor leaves a show, you get a STRONG idea about how the production felt about the actor by how their character exits. This honestly sounds like it will be a chore to get through given what today means to me. Kinda dreading it now.
  7. Hmmmm now that I've seen it...I can kinda see that. But you said oil and yes, I did think that show.
  8. Very. It's as noticeable now as how Sonny-Killed-Wagger has upped and vanished. Very as well. Yeah. I was actually shocked by it. I guess for me, it was because she was so central under PM. And even when these New/Old Writers started, Nina still was a bit of a focal point. But just like how people felt about Kristina/Molly/TJ and TJ getting the short end of the POV stick, I began to feel they were doing the same with Nina/Drew/Willow and Nina getting the short end of the POV stick once they (FINALLY) gave Drew a POV on it. Drew did not have one, but once they gave him one so the audience could decide where they fall on it all...and not a very good one, either sadly...Nina pretty much turned into a talk-to. And like I said earlier, too much story is going on with people Nina has cared about so it's now very noticeable how little she's been around or had agency in her own story. But again, it's been less about Drew/Nina and more about Willow/Drew. It feels like to me that the New/Old Writers are just finally getting rid of the last threads of PM's storylines. And that, of course, is only my opinion. Okay, I could see that.
  9. I am definitely looking forward to the episode count because I really feel she's only popped up at most 5. So much has been going on with people Nina was tied to and she really has been an afterthought to the point I have been shocked this month how little she has appeared.
  10. I've seen brief promos while binging soaps on my system, but nothing that stands out other than some of the camera angles being excellent. I guess I have not seen the trailer trailer though. Given the comparison you just made, I might check it out now. And I do like Demi.
  11. I believe Mike Manning is more @Soapsuds thing, than mine, but I guess I am curious to see what he has all been in to date.
  12. Say it again! Easily the highlight of my day waking up and seeing that news.
  13. You weren't wrong, though. It's funnier given Steffy did that to her a few weeks ago.
  14. Hold up!!! Clifton from AMEN??? wOOOOOWWW IKR!!!
  15. 10-25 What the frak did I just watch? I mean...this episode had several potential story beats and/or ideas. The team-up between Holly and Cody. The friction between Anna and Cyrus with Laura making three. Robert and Sasha getting the results of the DNA test. Diane's feelings over all of this Holly mess AND Heather's release...as if the New/Old Writers REMEMBERED SHE ALMOST DIED!!! Even the Heather/Steve scenes. All great ideas and beats to explore within the episode. But guess what? There was no time to stay in ANY of the scenes because Frank Valentini someone is not allowing the scenes to breath to take anything in really at all. If this is the case of block filming, Frank Valentini someone needs to ditch that. OR write it much better than it was written here. I mean...in essence this episode only has two/three characters talking to each other scenes and could have come across so much better than they did here. Honestly I felt like the only scene that got even a little bit of a chance to breathe was Diane's reaction to Heather's release. And even that was brushed away too quickly. And speaking of Heather...if this is the end of the storyline for real...other than the potential of it being Steve taking her away and given the history between Heather and Steven Lars...the whole storyline was lackluster. But I already said what I wished would happen. So a moot point. Nice Ms. Wu mention. And another Nina walk-on. smh. And because I can't say it enough...HELL NO to Valentin coming back. If Anna wants to go and find him...she can find him OFF SCREEN. Perhaps FH is doing her yearly vaca and she can come back with Charlotte, but NOT HIM. #letitgofrank I couldn't care less for Sasha as the Friday cliffhanger. I would say the same about Heather and Laura, but I love Laura so...
  16. Not sure where to place this but... @Liberty City
  17. Whatever are you talking about? I see no droids. Amen. Fingers crossed.
  18. TBF, it did take this long for me to realize how we have gone from propping up hearing about Wagger's death every day to crickets. I guess my concern for Lulu and where things are going with Sam was a great distraction. But I think the moment I realized it was him showing up at the hospital as Sam is about to get carted off...all dimples as if he didn't shoot a FBI agent in cold blood. Or maybe it's just my happiness at Alexis's being free with her degree intact. lol. Don't get me started re: Willow/Drew/Nina. Nina reduced to an afterthought. Color me shocked actually after all of that very well-done build-up. Same on Ric. I was just as surprised when he went running to Liz behind Heather's back to get her to come and take care of Heather while she's out. Especially after those superb scenes with him and Ava. I wouldn't mind it at all slowly (and hopefully organically which so far it has been) morphs into a Ric/Liz/Lucky story that turns into a Ric/Ava coupling since Liz/Lucky is the endgame.
  19. 10-24 Well, look at these New/Old Writers setting up Curtis like he's Sean Butler after the Nikolas's payout!!! As the acting head of Aurora, is this going to be how Curtis will be moving forward, money on hand to manipulate people? I guess time will tell. I knew the return was coming so nicely done with Steve out and about. Look at my Beast getting Carly to manipulate Jason. I was smh. But darn it if he didn't look good in that suit. Yuuuummm. And speaking of YUM, heeeeeey Isaiah. And even Lucas was giving good bod. But I rolled my eyes at the towel humor...cuz on brand for the New/Old Writers. As the episode went on, it occurred to me...especially in the group 'Good-Bye, Sam' scene...that the Wagger murder story has pretty much up and vanished, hasn't it? lol. Almost makes it pointless...if not pointless period because SONNY. I am surprised how much that last scene hit me. Perhaps it is the time of here for me. Also, the forthcoming drama so Sam's scenes with her kids hit harder. And I liked KM's now-revealed improv. Lol at Ric with Liz again. Are we sure these New/Old Writers aren't going to detour her into Ric's orbit before she lands back in Lucky's? Because they were giving sitcom vibes which actually did not bother me in this case. And I liked the coda of Liz seeing her brother.
