  1. I'm gonna have to see it on my tv screen but off hand... SHAMEA WON!!! LOL. Then I also love Angela and Drew. I suspect Kelli's will grow on me as will Porsha's. Brit meh.
  2. I thought the same when I saw this news pop up on my phone. Is GH about to get cancelled?
  3. You have had a busy couple of weeks so missed the announcements about it here because this thread moves very fast and you don't want the other soaps that it effects. Emphasis on GOOD. Which of course is subjective. I have truth in MVJ myself. Now RC... And I'm really curious to see Jamey since I only have what others have said...which has been good and bad. And as people know about my relationship with humor and camp vs slapsticky and silly...I don't need to go over that again except to say I am an organic humor (think Hayley being ignored by the whole country club) kinda of guy. I know people were mentioning in the discussion about Ashley that she has not interacted with her mother so hopefully they enjoyed it finally happened as much as next week when Naomi and Hayley finally interacted because both should have occurred by now, but better late than never. I personally enjoyed it and Ashley opened up so much more because of it. I caught that, too!!! The crack in their scheme team is definitely showing. lol. Yeah, I feel like that...and Martin's secret are going to climax at May Sweeps. I love with Silk Press Sheila that they are really giving it the classic build, with almost-outs. Like soaps used to be. Yeah, it is for that reason that I pointed out the Lynn Martin credit. The wonders she did on Tuesday's episode were the bee's knees to what she did on Friday's episode. And who was in charge of Friday's episode? RC. Like you, I don't know Jamey's work well enough but I'm optimistic. Look at Lynn Martin. Tuesday and Friday were night and day. Hehe. Yeah, I loved the Andre/Nicole scenes yesterday where he hinted that Dani is not okay and mentioned personal experience of his own. A hint of depth from Andre? Yes, please. They are doing right by Andre and Dani and I continue to love that dynamic...whatever it will grow into. Outside of the longtime friends angle, *shrugs* I don't mind it. But I feel the actors are getting comfortable in their roles. Someone made the comment in a tweet (with pictures) and I haven't been unable to undersee that. And apt. I love Marlena Evans. Someone made the comment in a tweet (with pictures) and I haven't been unable to undersee that. And apt. I love Marlena Evans. Another reason for me to be optimistic on Jamey cuz we know I trust your judgement greatly.
  4. Ooo Andre...talking from experience about darkness? Do tell. Ooo look at Ashley having a scene with her mama.
  5. I really love the music on this show. Interesting. It makes me wonder how long Ted and Silk Press Sheila had the affair now after that bit of tea from Silky. But I feel that while she might be lying about a lot of things, I feel there is also some nuggets of truth in what she says.
  6. Which is why I'm cautiously optimistic about Jamey. Meanwhile, RC...I will see how I feel personally after a few more breakdowns by him.
  7. Of course, Andre would find Dani!! GIRL, BYE!!! Hayley wanting to break up like that after being ignored at the country club. As if she was not warned in Episode 1. Oooo...not Ashley thinking of Andre...
  8. Believe the hype. You will LOVE them. Vancouver Season 1 is a complete storyline from start to finish alone. But Melbourne...I heard of the awesome fabulousness of Gina loooong before I saw her due to this board. And once I saw her due to a marathon on Bravo...it was love at first sight.
  9. I want to say that it varies from soap to soap off of my experiment off GH this year. And that was just with the HW rotation than the breakdown writers. I am sure someone else knows better than I. I think in this case, the show is just in the process of finding their rhythm, though. That said...I think it is worth noting that Lynn Martin did the script for Friday and Tuesday. Tuesday was the better of the two cuz Friday did have several of the characteristics I would expect from something with RC's name on it. It was also the weakest episode to date. Meanwhile, Tuesday had humor that was not slapsticky, great character moments and I felt the various plot moving pretty well.
  10. That is anothe juicy plotline that I can't wait to see when it comes out. For this very reason.
  11. Hahah. Speak on it!! And...AMEN. And it is also your hope that gives me hope Jamey will be more in that direction than his DAYS direction.
  12. 3-14 That's it??? They went through all of that trouble with Operation Carter only for Daphne to get through to him so he can agree to give back the company? I didn't mind the pacing of it though in the home stretch it really did feel like Brad felt it was an afterthought. Still, I was not expecting an abrupt ending like that. At least it is going to have fallout from Hope's reaction to Hope/Carter/Daphne to Steffy being Steffy. And speaking of abrupt, smh at Bill getting Luna pardoned. Does he have the power? Yes. But that was clearly seat-of-your-pants writing because if he had it, I would think he had used it a while ago. And now he has turned Luna loose? Lord...lol. But I did like having the smug look wiped off Ridge's face. I also loved Li being...Li. (choke her again! choke her for me! hehe). And I actually did like Luna vs Poppy...the one authentic note in the whole thing. Luna's throughline has always been her wanting to know her father. And while she's crazy, that does not take away from the fact she was right to call Poppy out. At least, not for me. Well...it was nice to have multiple (and rotating) stories while it last.
  13. LOL. I still think it's a good counterpoint because I (outside of the Kat/Tomas date) loathed Friday's episode. Weakest of all the episodes to date. Watching the HW name rotation on GH and focusing on what those episodes are like so I know WHO to shade, Friday's episode vs yesterday's episode of BTG was like a vindication to me. Because how is it that I loved yesterday's episode and how it moved vs Friday's. Same script writer. It had to be the breakdown writer and I saw who did Friday's vs yesterday. Given the discussion I've seen on Jamey's work all over the various threads, I'm actually curious to see how he works. Speaking of script writers, I'm also really looking forward to Jazmin Brown's next script.
  14. How did you envision her? If you don't mind me asking. Yep, yep. A fun moment!
  15. I totally agree. I love how we still get moments every few moments. Such a real family. Now that I think about it...was the last one before today the one when they did their model walks...outside of the pictures at Nicole's award event?
  16. None at all. But I expect some to turn up.
  17. But soooo Karen Huger-and therefore Maryland coded. lol
  18. See? This episode was a good counterpoint. I know I was discussing RC, the forthcoming Jamey scripts, and the like this morning. And this episode was scripted by Lynn Martin who also did the script for the RC breakdown. And it was like night and day from that Friday episode. So perhaps once Jamey's first script arrives, it will be the same versus what he wrote on DAYS. I think the thing that really intrigued me was the lawsuit storyline. I liked that here we were getting more development for another side character...Mike who was Bill's best man I believe. And it sounds like he's crooked. I didn't get that from him in his first few appearances and thought him a snob. So nice to see him developed. And is this our first topical storyline on the show...sexual harassment in the workplace? Is it still timely? It did make me wonder. And also it made me side-eye Hayley after that one girl mentioned that she lost out on her job because she would not do anything with Mike. So...did Hayley do something? And then it's external conflict for Naomi who could use her own storyline. And it would be her vs Bill...organic drama. It has its possibilities. And then there was Eva vs Kat. Oooooo I knew Kat wouldn't like seeing her in that dress!! lol. And her 'you're in my seat' had me fall out since it was from the Karen Huger playbook of slights. And yaaass to Eva rising to the occasion. Again, if these two DO turn out to be sisters, that's going to be such a mess since they are already rivals. I feel like Jacob (hmmm with his foine self) and his partner seeing Joey is going to be important at a later date. But good to see his partner has a bit of backstory, too. I hollered at Hayley getting slighted by the whooooole country club. And Dani got to see it. hehe. But it sounds like that might be the push to get Bill to reveal Martin's secret or push that storyline forward. Speaking of...Dani, Dani, Dani. I was happy to see her in Momager mode. And even better, I was happy seeing her functioning and being supporting to the others rather than vice versa. After episodes of her at her worst, the writers were shifting her back again into a more sympathetic light. And then they pulled the rug out from under me with this episode coda. Le sigh. Not her turning into a drunk. She just can't help it, can she? Also loved seeing the Kat and Chelesa dynamic, the family giving the collective stare at Tomas, the fact the Kat/Chelesa business story is just nicely simmering in the background. Now...we getting a cliffhanger tomorrow before March Madness or what? Yep, yep.
  19. Thank you. Before last night, I had no idea about them. I happen to have on the news (something that I've been doing more of due to He Who Shall Not Be Named...just like I was the last time cuz...peace of mind) and my local news station did a segment. Newsworthy yes, but IMHO not so newsworthy to cut into the show. There was another more newsworthy segment afterwards last night that bothered me more and should be discussed...that I'm surprised it has not been all over media. I wrote about it briefly, but in the interest of keeping this thread about THE SHOW...and not politics, I edited it out of my original post. Because that (and apparently what just happened an hour ago) I could see interrupting a show. And those are topics that the masses are aware of or would be affected by.
  20. I still agree with you to this day on Vancouver Season 1. Deserves to be in the Top 10 of all HW seasons Amen.
  21. Uhhhh NO...I'm pretty sure what I saw in my own room alone with my own eyes on the news last night where I live WAS a news story about the astronauts. Not their landing...no. What their situation was...yes. I am not going to talk split hairs over another person's opinions on what counts as special report news where I've already explained my own opinion. Moreso when there are other options as well to see the current status of said astronauts without cutting into a show. To each their own.
