Chelesa knows she's mad at her dad, but she is smart enough to ask him for legal advice. And Bill wanting to get in good with her...does that. Meanwhile, there is still no love lost between Chelesa and Hayley. And Hayley giving that side-eye does not help her case. She need to quit before Chelesa drags her again like she always does when Hayley wants to start mess. Tomas looking reeeeeally good in that shirt. Have I mentioned how much I love seeing Jacob and Naomi together? hahahahaha not Jacob being flirty...hehe. Mmmm black love. Lord...Kat. SMH. Now I want to shake her. Did he just say 'your people???'

OMG! Not Jacob vs Marcel. Not Chelesa and Kat having work drama! Good to see, but still... So are we for sure that Hayley is preggers? I love seeing Vernon in take-charge mode.

Thank you. I'm happy for BF of course, but there was no need for that character at all and I expect backlash. As for the direction, well I already said that the whole Dumas story and it being plot twisted into Damian's storyline was unnecessary because the story as is (with Damian as Head of Dumas) was a surprisingly great storyline that could have stayed as is with Damian as the head and still be able to mix it up with Victor, romance Lily, and cause all kinds of drama. So that was all just a waste. And with that reveal, I don't see a triangle between him, Dumas, and Lily so I guess they will be writing Damian out now. He had more chemistry and potential than what is basically a recast so not at all here for it.

I agree. Or they could just focus on her struggles at work. What if this breakup was really affecting her at work and she makes a mistake for example? Like how we discussed what if SilkPress had framed her for Laura's overdose, and one of the doctors had it out for her? Nosy Nurse and Doug could get mixed into it. And even now with the truth about Laura out, that doctor could have an issue with her. The Joey angle is also still a good idea and a way to keep him on canvas post-Doug/Vanessa storyline. Speak on it!!! Them facts.

I admit that watching this week, I've started to wonder that as well. Could the reason for Ashley being neurotic be something more than just her being used to living by herself or did something happen in her past? Because she is just soooo shrewd and she did not at all start this way. Oh, yes...the gift that keeps giving. Same.

RHOM I know I wanted to talk about the premiere before I watched the new episode. Am I glad my telenovela girls are back? Oh, yes. Did I like the premiere? It was solid, but I felt like something was off the first time I watched it. I feel the same after the second time. It might just be me. And I can't figure out why I feel that way. The scenery was giving. The production value was actually on the Peacock level for me. I was living for the individual scenes as Production was digging into ALL of the things we heard during the off-season...and happy they got it on film. And Lisa's birthday event for Jody was a mess. So all I can say is *shrugs* Whatever to me, I'm happy to have them back. And I know they will give. Just off this episode, we had feuds, petty feud...though it's one that I DON'T like, and the FOH were already getting to work as much as the main cast. Yes, Marysol, Kiki, and Adriana, I'm looking at you all. So where am I standing with the ladies? ALEXIA. lol. I loved that Alexia's life continues to be a telenovela. It's going to be interesting to see where this stuff with Todd goes. Moreso because she was crying a mess this episode, and I know they are still together. Meanwhile, ADRIANA WAS RIGHT!!! And she was giving great comedy relief to the ladies due to her situation. GUERDY. I love that she decided to continue on despite how she felt last season and the cancer. And mmmm at Russell. I look forward to seeing her bounce back given what she has shown so far. Meanwhile, this petty feud with Julia...Team Guerdy. Because it seem like it was just a technical accident and lord, given my own technology I can relate. She even tried to turn the other cheek with Julia and it's Julia trying to make it an issue. And of course, if there is one thing Guerdy is going to give...it's reactions. Her and Adriana during Lisa vs Larsa at the end was a hoot. JULIA. *PorshaWilliams*WRONG ROAD, WRONG ROAD, WRROOONG ROOOAD*PorshaWilliams* I don't know what she was thinking. Or if she can think for herself now that she has gotten closer to Alexia and Marysol, but her starting a petty feud was not it. Even online, she is being dragged. And the fact she's running with it. Let me smh. I am happy about the boys. I am also happy that again...ADRIANA WAS RIGHT. LARSA. Ooooo so we are getting stuff with Marcus. I admit that I still stay surprised at how much mileage that Larsa is getting out of this REAL breakup. I do get where she's coming from. But Lisa cannot control who her man hangs with, only who she is. Now if Larsa and Marcus were sworn enemies, she might have more to work with. But I think that was what she was trying to say to Lisa. BUT she could have said that BEFORE. I was surprised to see her mother. I was also surprised to see a softer side of her this episode. And her vs Lisa gave their Season 5 fights. They both got great digs in. LISA. Now...what was Jody doing in the bedroom? And lord, she is soooo extra with the clothes changes for someone one's party. lol. Never change! lol. I felt she gave a lot from her trying to navigate post-Lenny life to her having the event to her story with her father. I'm probably going to get triggered with that so you all have been warned. I'm already feeling it. The Marcus stuff...she really should have given Larsa more of a heads-up. And her fight with Larsa, as I said, was great. She even got a great dig in on Marysol. lol. FOH ADRIANA. Dark haired Adriana is the best Adriana. lol. And she is ALWAYS right. Alexia. Julia. What will she say next? What's the tea? hehe. And that date of hers....MMMMMMMMmmm. And so willing to be on screen. And I was hollering at her reactions during Lisa vs Larsa. KIKI. Now Kiki...HAHAHAHAHA!!! Not you breaking up with a guy and STILL being able to use his yacht. But that's the glamour we like in our housewives. And I loved her looking fabulous and hanging with Guerdy. And I liked her comforting poor Larsa. MARYSOL. I SEE YOU, GIRL!!! We were not even five minutes in, and she was immediately getting the tea on Alexia and Lisa. And she was moving subtly, but she was definitely moving the stories along. I am not used to her being pro-active in this reboot, but I loved it. Shades of her earlier persona of businesswoman. And it was minor, but I loved that she was bringing Steven round with her. And now...let me get to Episode 2 on this semi-holiday day.

I just KNEW if there was going to be a fantasy it would be in an RC episode. lol.

6-13 A good end to a good week for me. But I think we know I'm a sucker for a Friday cliffhanger. And that was a long time coming. See what can happen when you focus on an A story people want to see and have plots surrounding that. Bonus that one of those plots is an A plot that was reduced to a B plot seamlessly this episode. Martin's secret, Martin's secret, Martin's secret!! From almost off the backburner to C plot and now it seems like they are going to play with it. Cuz that mystery man has been around for a while. The images in Martin's head have grown more vivid. And now a hint that Crooked Cop could be involved as well. Let the audience in. And it appears they might finally do that. And finally!!! Since the other A story has been Dani/Bill/Hayley, I appreciated that the writers tried to give some substance to Bill and Hayley by Hayley trying to cheer him up. It gives her some (emphasis on just some) depth. That said...them talking about that one picture knowing that they winded up having an affair. MESSY! I do see the potential in Tomas (work) vs Hayley (personal life) with Bill. I wanted to hate on Dani showing up, but the vibe she was giving off was giving ex-wife that is not thinking of her ex-husband. The power of Andre. I liked seeing Chelesa and Kat moving into the guest house. Like I mentioned, very 90210-ish. And thinking about their business. Right when people were mentioning that, too. Tomas (and that bubble) looked good in that suit. And I was awww at Dani, Chels, and that gorgeous picture. That said...Dani is starting to be OTT again a bit in places and that annoys me. Her warning to Tomas though...I didn't mind that. I also didn't mind Chels and Kat realizing that Andre and Dani might be a thing. Speaking of thing...mmmmmm Andre in white pants....lol. C plot was Derek and Ashley. And le sigh. I liked the Naomi/Derek scenes. But I have started to dislike how neurotic Ashley is being. Very shrewd Carrie Bradshaw. And it is really not making me like her at all. I did like the mention of other plots to keep them alive. Like Vernon with Anita to Martin. All things Dani/Andre...and how Bill's drama and Ashley's drama is missing with them. Chelesa and Kat's kikis over their relationships. And again...cliffhangers on Friday.

I definitely have not liked a lot of what I've seen her wear since I've been back watching, but that for sure was not a bad choice IMHO. The only issue with their rivalry besides any slanted writing is just the fact they are recasts. Their history went back decades already before last year so you are hitting bullseye on that. And this latest round is just continuing to show that it has legs to keep going. Personally, I wish Lulu had more self-awareness to see her actions are only going to make her own words about BLQ self-fulfilling prophecy.

Same. Because she deserved it with that mouth. 😜 Yeah at this point I feel the same. And I thought she was dressed just fine for the Slap Needed to Be Heard Around PC. I am probably hoping for too much, but I do hope their rivalry keeps going and they can be co-leading ladies.

And it's just so relatable, too. And I find I understand both points of view. But again, they are at the perfect moment to be having the talks/fights they are having. 3 months in IS the right time to be doing a temperature check on your relationship status. How the drama from that and their POVs have been fun to watch. Add in their separate mess with people they have feelings for and BOOM! And YES. I love they fight with as much passion as they love, too. It shouldn't even work, but it does. From frame one I might add.

6-13 After some skipping around, I made it to the end of last week. But to be fair, I really only watched when the synopsis sounded good. Or in my case, one episode had Audra centered. And the other...seeing Cricket and Danny back in town. I admit that watching the scene with Damian and Amy made me side-eye. Why? Because it seem like...just like his breakup with Holden in the last episode I watched...like the writing such as it is is on the wall for Damian. And I hope that is not the case. But so much of his story has been taken away from him, I shouldn't be surprised if I turn out to be right. I really don't want to see Audra and Nate broken up, either. That said...I do enjoy watching Audra weave her web around Kyle. Another thing I enjoyed was Victor dragging Chelesa. If she must be around, that works for me. hehe Yeeeeeah JG is just toying with Shick fans at this point. And just the Giggly Heffa being around. Ugh. I know I said it before but the Saw-Lite storyline was a chance for new directions for these ladies. I can't believe rather than go with it...which could have been a nice PTSD/obsession with Giggly Heffa feeling only close to Sharon...is going to turn into a tired triangle. Daniel was kinda looking like a snack. I can't believe how much of an afterthought Victoria is right now. And Cole's story is just going to be all the way off-screen, huh? I enjoyed seeing Danny and Christine back in town. And I always giggle when Christine is given a chance to needle Giggly Heffa. But since JG appears to want to drag this out, I think I'll just wait to watch until Friday's episode. The moment of truth. And of course read the comments here.
