  1. RHOM First of all, you never can win when you play dirty. #workpolitics But now that I have the weekend off from what apparently is a shitstorm (and my phone is on DND)... I did watch the first episode of the Seville trip. And it was my kind of mess so far. It looked like it will give just what last season's Mexico City trip gave...all kinds of crazy. The running jokes of Lisa running late (and her taking the whole episode to do her version of WHERE IN THE WORLD OF CARMEN SANDIEGO) alone is living rent free in my head...lol. And oh my God, the scenery!!! I said over in the B&B thread that I was looking forward to their remote because 1) I'm overdue a vacation and 2) I was sure it would be breathtaking. But this? Wooooowwww. I know @Cat is going to love this. But there had to be a downer. And thy name is Julia. I can't believe her. There was already so much potential for drama. Lisa and Larsa. Stephanie and Alexia. And organically. Her attempts at pot-stirring/bone-collecting fell flat. And also came back to bite her on the ass from her being calling out by Stephanie to Adriana clocking her every chance she got. Loved every minute of it. But thankfully we had the dinner. Peak Miami. The flamenco singer. Everyone's reaction to the flamenco singer. Stephanie vs Alexia which was vicious with both of them getting good points in. And like most RHOM (and oldNY) making up and moving right past it. The reactions to the fights cuz Adriana...I was getting my life, too. And then ending on Lisa (23 HOURS LATER showing up) was the cherry on top. It was a good episode from start to finish. ALEXIA. See? Just when I could write her off, she stays giving. Her history of growing up in Seville (and the flashback pictures to her youth) was eye-opening. And her knowledge of flamenco music was really eye-opening, revealing a lot about who she is as a person. And then of course, her rivalry with Stephanie. I don't think Stephanie was wrong. Alexia is insecure and deserved to be rightfully called out for it. And not everyone is going to kiss the ring. Sorry not sorry. That said, Alexia got good licks in on her as well. And thankfully, mentions of Todd (who in real time is suing Bravo now) was kept to a minimum. LARSA. Her and Adriana in bed on the private jet. lol. Lord. But they both seem so enjoyable for a change. Outside of that, she was kinda a hoot. Starting our Lisa in-joke. The video of Marysol, Guerdy, Kiki, and Alexia getting drunk on the flight with no Lisa in sight was hilarious and kept it going, too. Outside of that, she was just chilling. Oh...and what's the tea with her having a stalker now? What in the world... GUERDY. 'Spain didn't see us coming, but we here now!' YASSSSSS, GUERDY!!! lol. Spain might not know how you all get down, but they found out at that dinner, hunni!!! She was background this episode, but when she had moments, she was good. STEPHANIE. Now...who else believes that she upgraded herself and it was not her husband (who I can see why she wants to be around him all the time due to how they met allegedly due to that bod?)? I thought she gave a great showing this episode though. Her humor with Tomas, the front desk agent/bellman. Her seeing how Julia moved when they had not even united with the other ladies for a good five minutes. She cursed Julia out and rightfully so. And her fight later on at dinner with Alexia was great because she stated facts. That said...Alexia was not wrong about her, either. Stephanie is coming off as someone with no real friends who has to use her money to buy people into her friendship circle. It's a battle of alphas, but it's one I enjoy watching. JULIA. Honestly? Pathetic. What she was saying in her Confessionals contradicted what she was doing. Two-faced. And when confronted, she wanted to deflect. I've enjoyed each and every moment someone called her out. Why? Because she was trying to also cause unnecessary drama when the vibe was supposed to be fun. Her tattling to Alexia over a vent (in two minutes of seeing Alexia) was horrible and very pick-me. Her trying to deflect with that 'attitude' comment to Stephanie as she was (rightfully) cursed out was weak...HUNNI. Not to mention her complete disregard to Adriana, her one and true ride-or-die. No wonder Adriana stayed clocking her in person AND Confessionals and also sat, watched, and drank watching people get Julia. Heck, even Production was clocking her. Speaking of... FOH ADRIANA. The moment!!! She was everything. Smarts, beauty, and humor!!! I felt like her and Alexia were giving all kinds of history, and I loved all the information. As a hospitality adjacent, I loved what she explained about the five different regions and the languages with examples. I had always wondered that at work, so it was nice to get it confirmed in a way. And her story about the man who died on the plane after proposing to her was loooord. lol. And her 'puppy, bitch, child, whatever' over Julia tattling to Alexia and her look as Stephanie cursed her out later were chef's kiss. And it was not lost on me that Adriana did not at all bad-mouth Lisa on the private jet when Stephanie, Larsa, and Julia tried to talk crap about Lisa. A friend. KIKI. Enjoyed her so far. Her on the plane drinking was a vibe. And poor her beside herself during Alexia vs Stephanie. MARYSOL. Harmless this episode. Though you continue to see the undercurrent of her anxiety over the Todd issues. She really don't like him for Alexia. And she was already trying to wind Lisa up for next episode when she FINALLY arrived. Speaking of... . . . . . . . LISA. 23 HOURS LATER... And now I'm DEAD. Such a great episode. Will watch the second part of the trip later. Great start.
  2. You're not alone on that though I have grown to love Maxie/Spinelli 3.0. But then again, that would take James away and he's the best out of those kids. And I LOVE his scenes with Dr. O.
  3. It definitely was to plant the seed to get Anita to think about singing again. But how she was with him, buttering him up...added subtext. I'm still hoping we get the fundraiser since Anita said she wanted to get back to her charity work this week. This show has been lacking on events which are great for reveals and story builds/near-misses. Before the concert this past week, the last one was the anniversary party really and that was back in MAY. Before that we were getting events where things were going down every week if not every other week. I miss that.
  4. Don't forget (though he is married) his chemistry with Anita.
  5. Just off the synopsis for next week, it doesn't even seem like Anita and SilkPress meet until Wednesday, so they are really going to build up to it. Good. I've been saying that an A story with B/C plots has been the way to go with the pacing on this show (and this week had none so meh) so I expect next week to have a tighter flow.
  6. Yeah, they can send them off. Or up to the attic.
  7. Well, the potential new family would be compelling. But I'm a little old school with the Dupree being the money while the Hawthornes bring the common man. And we know Luke would probably be a bad boy.
  8. They still have good scenes together, but yet. He is not treating her like the diamond she is, revealing how much of a player he actually is to me. I was just as fooled as some of the viewers. That said...I do feel that when he gets a clue about Ashley, he will probably fight harder to win Dani back than Ted is doing with Nicole. Oh, he did from his first episode. And now that I've seen him in normal clothes (and shirtless online ) yep, yep. Same for Carlton. That bubble do wiggle. Hehe. True. Hitting up on 6 months in a week's time...I agree. Now that we have this reveal, I'm afraid now that they are going to want to establish Silk Press Sheila in the gates before Laura comes back into play. Now that I read that, it's truly on ice again like how they stalled Martin's Secret until May, ain't it?
  9. A discussion already had here. This new reveal could usher in the second family that everyone was desiring. Of course, I'm bias and wanted the Hawthornes. This as well. If Dante turns out to be SilkPress's dad, I do hope we get a name in that role. Another good theory. I feel it will be some form of this.
  10. Well just to mention it again, we were discussing how they would be able to keep Silk Press Sheila on the canvas because she had appeared to run her course. The Barbara reveal gives her a new angle to play and also gives her more legs to stay in time. Cuz make no mistake, her and Eva are moving INSIDE the gates. And terms of story, it's a great pivot just down to how it was set up. Anita's story, SilkPress's love of the group, the presence in the background of Dante...who I also agree is intentionally being held back as well...weren't we all theorizing when Kat and Chels started their purse line that it could be him for example...the skeleton of the story is there. Same.
  11. I stay loving how you word it as a mixture. I would have to rewatch the scene (but I do love a rewatch hehe), but I took it to mean at the time to mean that Barbara might have been booted because of it (and Dante giving a story to Anita and the others about how Barbara didn't fit). Or Barbara and Dante had some form of an encounter...perhaps to stay in the group, got booted still, and then she fell preggers. There's definitely more to the story.
  12. THANK YOU!!! I loved they read him because it's true. I'm not even on his side now and today's episode with his dialogue did not help at all. Can he not see why he's wrong? Jesus.
  13. I am in awe and still recovering from today's episode. But I'm honestly shocked at everyone jumping to Vernon as the father. As the scenes went down, I immediately said Dante Green as well as SilkPress's father. After all, we only have Anita's perspective on how things went down with Barbara. It seem like Sharon and Tracy were mostly kept out of it. They only knew what Anita knew. And where did Anita get her information from? Dante. Who was the one who kicked Barbara out. He said to her (and them) that Barbara didn't fit. Easily could be a cover story to cover up the fact Barbara and Dante slept together. Barbara might have slept with him to stay in the group. And speaking of foreshadowing, given what little we know of Dante and none of it nice, I just figured it was not coincidence that the name of Kat and Chels's manager for their business is also Dante. Even waaay back then, I felt that was foreshadowing. Moreso now with this reveal. Or (as an online friend suggested) their Dante could be a Jr. to Real Dante. Which of course would be another twist.
  14. See? I was thinking the father was Dante Green if anyone, not Vernon. But that might just be me.
  15. Same. I look forward to drool...I mean seeing him on my rewatch.
  16. So...Derek's exit storyline? Uh oh...now SilkPress knows? How we feeling about that? We know I love the NEXT WEEK promo.
  17. Lord...this divorce party. Good to see Vanessa, Dani, and Nicole together. OMG!!! Now she's dancing while Ted/Andre are looking like losers. LOVE IT.
  18. Suicide?? AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! You all are going to be right. And at the 6 month mark...that is a pivot.
  19. Poor Derek. Oooooo Peaches were there when Silk Press Sheila was born.
  20. Hahahhaaha Nicole really is throwing a divorce party?? I know the online fans are going to make awesome gifs later. And Dani shading how bland Ashley is will never not get old. Ted ain't crap. And he wonders why Nicole is divoring him. Outside of that, I am liking his scenes with Andre.
