Degrassi: The Next Generation
I hope she is utilized better than Hazel and Liberty too. This show has not always treated black female characters the best. Typically, they are written as the best friend and I hate that. I loved Liberty, still can't believe it's been 9 years since JT died

Degrassi: The Next Generation
@Nothin'ButAttitude @All My Shadows I hope Shay is written and lasts better than Hazel, they wasted Andrea Lewis back then. I like how they aren't making these new characters into Manny, Emma, Clare, Eli, Paige, Darcy clones but their own characters

Degrassi: The Next Generation
@Nothin'ButAttitude I looks obvious that Esme serves as angst for Tristan/Miles, almost like how in the beginning Imogen did that for Eli/Clare before they put her with Fiona I'm okay with that. Since Eli/Clare are no longer around, these two will be my couple to root for. i do wonder if Esme and Winston might eventually have something. I wonder if Miles say he's going to boarding school around the time Eric Osborne went to film Crazy House with Connor Jessup

Degrassi: The Next Generation
I think Miles will continue to appear. What did you think of Tristan and Miles being friends again after that scare he had? I don't know how I feel about Esme yet I have no clue. It has but the plots in these ten episode were super fast. The content was good. I just wanted it to be slowed down and all the beats played. Seems like Degrassi is getting back to being good again

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
Looks like this will be permanent. Nothing has changed. I hate that they have Ben posing as straight. With all the mouth and grief Ben gives Phil, he should just accept his sexuality. One of the many absurd stories on EE. Seems like this has always been Ben's story, since Joshua Pascoe played him nearly 10 years ago. No progression at all

Is this still Kate Oates stuff, is she still credited for these episodes?

What's the latest on Ben, is he still say he's straight again because of his father?

Degrassi: The Next Generation
This channel posts all the New Class episodes, so I am gonna start binge watching b/c the first episode was really good and current. I am so glad that they re-visited my Tristan/Miles pairing. Their election story was cute but this was something that could've been stretched for a season--Miles sexing and feeding Tristan false hope so he'll wanna loose the election to him; meanwhile, Miles is dabbling with others on the side until Tristan found out and blew him out the water, but whatever. It was still good. I can't take Miles' sister, Frankie, though. She's always annoyed me. From the last season of Next Generation to now. I can't take her at all. She's gone from being a whiny drip to being a drab, depressed mess. Ugh. My other gripe is making Zoe insta-gay. One of my biggest gripes on TV. There's never been an inkling that Zoe liked girls and I just can't believe she's fallen for Grace now. I need my bitchy, scheming, man-eating Zoe back. I do love that they've maintained her friendship with Tristan. I always loved them as a duo more than I did Maya/Tristan. I feel like the show isn't completely done with Miles/Tristan. The Zoe is now lesbian story needs more explaining. It's weird but Eric Osborne at times his voice sounds like Jesse Soffer

I am surprised at what we're able to salvage from YT from time to time, particularly the 70s/early 80s episodes. It is nice being able to get a glimpse of that era in some form. I have to agree with you there. I'd love to see her attempt to track down James and Mary. Plus, was her supposed child with Massimo ever followed up on? Weren't there rumors Daisy was going to be Diana Carter?

He's hooked up with a variety of female co-stars. I guess it could all be fake but I doubt anyone would bother. James Sutton did?

That would be quite an interesting thing.

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
Ben Hardy left on his own accord. He's about to be in one of the biggest movies of the Summer--X:Men Apocalypse. Hetti was fired and it was done for shock value. Killing off Lucy has been the start of the downfall of this show. IMO, they killed off the wrong twin. Lucy had so much story potential left. Peter did too but Lucy was more valuable than him. Yeah the whole storyline of killing Lucy has ruined so many characters, I don't even know if there will be recovery. I'm excited to see Ben as Angel, I do wonder if they'll recast Peter again o have Lauren and the baby return for good and have her and Peter separate? I'd prefer if Lauren, Peter, and the baby just stay off the canvas for years to come. Especially, Peter. I don't want him sucked back into the vortex of suck known as the Beales to become an apologist for Bobby alongside Ian and Jane. Got to agree with you there

What was the point in killing off Lucy Beale and letting Hetti Bywater and Ben Hardy go?

Deborah came on around July 1980. So Bond's Jill was around from Feb 4th till June/July. She was also the one who dated Steve Williams, Paul's never seen brother (have they even mentioned him since he left in 1981) Brenda came back either Sep 2nd or Sep 5th 1983. One of her first scenes is the one with her and Dina in the Abbott house with Jill in the red dress. Her actual first scene is on YT (about 2 seconds of it, lol) I have added below, it is actually more about Paul/Cindy and her being shot, but has Brenda's return right at the tail end. So February 4, 1980 is Bond Gideon's first airdate? When did Brenda Dickson last air in 1980? Not yet sure about Dickson's return date in 1983?- Y&R: Old Articles
