Thank God. I liked Harris too, but I think the nominee will be Biden. We just have to hope to God that Trump is dea...I mean imprisoned by the 2020 elections or that Biden can actually beat him. I admit I'm nervous. A lot can happen in the next year.

That story about ICE setting up a fake university is INSANE. What about all the students lives they f*cked with. So unconscionable.

Your daily (or nightly) thought
This is an old Roger Ebert review someone posted on twitter today. It's the funniest thing I have read in awhile. https://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/deuce-bigalow-european-gigolo-2005

🤣 Honestly, I'm not sure which performance was worse. At least Andrew doesn't have actual political power, but still, both of them are stubborn and oblivious to how they come off.

The brainwashing Fox has accomplished is worthy of the CIA/KGB/China. China should just go ahead and hire Hannity and friends to help "re-educate" their Muslim population instead of sending them to camps and torturing them. 🙃

Seriously. So much depends on this one woman's life and she seems very well aware of it.

I think so too. Most of them are ride or die for him. It's sad and disgusting, but there it is.

Isn't this point basically a slam of Bernie's free college plan? He wants free state school tuition for everyone no matter their income. It's a bit of a straw man argument when other candidates argue that millionaires and billionaires would get free tuition. Sure, they technically would, but how many of those people are sending their kids to state school? I guess it could be an issue at some of the Cali state schools. I don't believe free state school tuition will happen any time soon in the anti intellectual atmosphere that now permeates our culture. If it ever does there will to have to be better messaging to get the public behind it. How many people out there incorrectly think this plan includes private colleges? Quite a few from what I've seen.

^ Can that second one be real? I can't. 😂

I find myself periodically checking CNN to see if the day's mass shooting has happened yet. It's so sick that we all know it's going to happen again and again, but most of the people leading us are standing in the way of change. So frustrating.

^ Ugh. That is pretty bad. We need fewer candidates not more anyhow.

Yes. I could not agree more that this is the way to go. One step at a time.

Me too, of course. It doesn't matter to me that much who it is because I doubt very much will get done those first four years anyway. At best the next President will have to scramble just to undo some of the damage. I really cannot believe Michael Bloomberg is going to run. I've had it with these billionaires who think they are entitled to even more power.

This just sums it all up. My mind just cannot accept this chaotic reality. It shouldn't seem that surprising since we've seen many societies melt down in a similar way throughout history (Germany, China, Cambodia, USSR the list goes on and on just in the last century). Still, so many people are going along with all the lies and insanity, I just don't understand it. I get that racism, greed, and religion are behind a lot of it, but still to just deny objective reality and the law to the extent that some of these Republicans are doing is just mind blowing to me.

Yes. It doesn't matter that much what the disapproval rating is, if they will never vote for a Democrat under any circumstances and that's just where some of these folks are mentally. I like Elizabeth Warren. I would probably pick her to be President, many Americans will fall for the socialist fear mongering. EW isn't even a socialist, but that won't matter. It looks like KH is struggling. https://twitter.com/politico/status/1190373168801824769?s=20

Yeah, I think we saw last election that there are people on the far left who want to burn it all down just as much as the right does. I'll never understand that mentality, especially not after the last three years of madness.

Right. It was very weird, especially because he looks like Trump so there is no way I believe rumors Barron isn't his. I think Trump is simply that disassociated emotionally from the kid.

^ Yeah and it's not like Trump is alone here. I never truly understood how many dumb ass people are out there until he was elected (not that I think I'm any kind of genius). People actually held a straight pride parade, for the love of god!! Every day is a new low for Trump and our nation as a whole. Even once he's out, we all know how many of these hateful idiots are out there now.
