Stephanie is like a little housewife to Alex. She's not dynamic IMO at all. And sure, Jada and Gabi have potential, but there has to be a strong leading man and Alex, Rafe, and JJ don't fit the bill. Days has always been very super couple based and there is not a single couple on the show that's even close right now besides the older vet couples. Xander and Sarah are the only couple I would consider to even be near that space and they aren't that great.

I definitely don't think Days is in as bad of shape as it has been several times in the past. Yes, Ron had some horrible ideas, but he also had some decent ones. He was just struggling to execute them and it's been an issue for too long. That being said, Days does have at least a few solid episodes a week in general. Consistency and favoritism to certain actors is more the issue than out right horrible story telling (Body and Soul aside). There were times in the Higley eras where I absolutely wanted to give up. Now, I am just more annoyed than actually upset with the show. I also think Days severely struggles with the "next" generation of actors. With John gone, who takes his place? Brady is a wimp, Eric is gone, Rafe is Rafe, Billy Flynn is out the door, Shawn, JJ, Tripp are too bland and they have never done a good job building up the next group of actors. They've been relying on the vets to carry them for far too long.

Yes. And Willow, as dull as she's been for years, is someone who is ripe for manipulation. It makes so much sense she'd fall for it without question. I am pretty sure both Jason and Sonny consider themselves heroes in their own stories, so why shouldn't Drew lol. There was a lot of Laura Wright screeching today. I did laugh when Jason told her to put down the knife though. "Are you going to stab Willow?". Lol, Steve-you are funny sometimes.

I think with Drew's upbringing and life experience it makes sense he would be very controlling and think he's the hero in most situations. I do think CM gets that aspect of the character or at least it works on screen.

Yeah, I don't really think Cameron Mathison is that bad as Drew. He works better as a smarmy rich guy than he does as a kindhearted hero. That always felt like a fake personality to me.

Yeah. I agree. Drew is just a jerk. He's not a psycho cult leader (yet). It's almost like a certain sector of fans need Drew to be worse than Sonny and Jason and he's not. I still can't get over the fact that Sonny shot Wagger and no one even cares-and I generally defend Sonny!!!

Well, I am glad today is the last day. It's extremely obnoxious that Leo and Javi think it's appropriate to spend $100's of dollars for a date with Alex when they don't feel the need to pay Rafe rent. I assume Gabi chips in so I am fine with her bidding to make JJ jealous. JPL looked exceptionally tan today. I don't know if he needs to go that far with the self-tanner lol.

I don't read Soap Twitter so I have never heard this Shiloh theory. How would that even make any sense? Drew/Shiloh has just been playing this long game to get Willow? Lol.

It looks like the company was around until last week under the name ShopHQ lol. If I am reading it right it was under the QVC, HSN umbrella. ShopNbc existed until 2009. I don't know how long the buy "Belle's eyeliner" phase lasted, but I do vaguely remember this.

Megan Ward was basically gone before Vanessa even came back. I was actually hoping Brenda and Kate might share some scenes, but MW popped up once, asked Lulu to get Brenda on the Crimson cover, and that might have been the last time we saw her. Sonny was hanging out with Claire Walsh instead because I guess Dahlia Salem needed a job or something. And instead of even making Claire vs. Brenda dramatic Claire got dumped, vowed revenge, had one scene with Brenda, and moved to Alaska. I am not making that up. She really got transferred to Alaska lol. I assume we will get Blaze's dad, long lost sister, homophobic grandmother, and possibly a few cousins before we get JGL back lol.

It will probably just be Michael Easton or Roger Howarth's 7th role tbh.

Yeah, I thought she was perfect for the part. I didn't think MW was going to be winning a million Emmys or anything, but she was refreshing in the fact she actually did seem to sparkle with Sonny and she was just a different type of love interest for him. I am actually worried about the day Blaze's dad shows up. It will probably be a recast Alcazar or some other major threat lol.

Meh. I think Vanessa would agree Brenda is a chaos monster. Benard and Sullivan had okay chemistry-I guess. The story idea with them re-connecting when Brenda left started well. I just can't get the image of Ksu's Konnie recounting her rape and putting her baby in a drawer lol. C'mon! Ridiculous. Megan Ward and Ingo had chemistry because Megan Ward and her fabulous bob hairstyle had chemistry with everyone.

She was fabulous. I don't even know what you are talking about lol. The character of Kate in itself gave me a side eye due to everything we previously knew about Sonny, but I thought MB and MW had great chemistry. Outside of Alexis, it felt like the first time Sonny had a mature romance where he wasn't lying or protecting chaos monsters like Carly and Brenda. That isn't a shade on my two lovely ladies. Kate (pre-Sullivan) just felt more stable as a partner for Sonny.

Yeah. RH at least gets to come back. They completely bypassed MW when Kate came back for KSu. It's clear she was willing. I have no evidence, but I feel like MW had to have made someone mad behind the scenes.

I adored Megan Ward's Kate and her amazing haircut. I am surprised she didn't ever end up on another soap. It really was a refreshing change for Sonny and it felt like he considered her an equal. I always wondered what MW did because it's clear they put her backstory onto Olivia and dropped Kate. It still makes no sense there was a second teenage love for Sonny in Bensonhurst lol.

I don't think Kelly Sullivan is awful. Her material was and she's what? a decade younger than LW and VM who are supposed to also be significantly younger than Sonny. It was just an odd casting choice. Listen, with Ghost Connie I just think Megan Ward is tanking it because she pissed off she got fired for no reason in the first place.

Connie should have never existed. Kelly Sullivan was way too young to be Sonny's high school girlfriend, and Megan Ward was the last person MB had viable chemistry with.

I think it's just surgery. It doesn't even sound life threatening. It's more life threatening for him to not have the surgery and put it off.

So is Blaze not Sidwell's kid? Just Marco? I still don't care about any of it. Sonny getting heart surgery is not that important lol. Just get the surgery done and stop pretending it's catastrophic for the business.

😂 It's irritating because up until a few months ago Laura and Sonny weren't that close. She should be able to distance herself from Sonny pretty easily. Rocco seems like he's mature enough to understand the reasoning. Someone may need to explain to me why it is such a bad thing to have the citizen of PC vote on this? I know they keep saying Laura is putting responsibility on the citizens, but I don't see how that is wrong. Is it too costly to hold a vote? Is this a decision Laura should just decide on her own? Just curious.
