Well, Kristen has her own set of doppelgangers so she'd probably think it was normal.

In this day and age soaps don't even use the kids much because money and laws. So you might as well open it up more because we end up with 4 actors being eligible. I know. I am horrible for putting it in the universe. The girl that plays Charlotte probably has it in the bag honestly.

I still don't get why Hattie wasn't one of the clones. So Marlena not only has 4 (living) clones, but a doppelganger and had a twin sister. That's a lot of people that look like you lol

Let's be honest. It would have felt less lopsided with Victoria Grace in the category, but Eden was going to win regardless. So, oh well, whatever. It's a dumb category as it stands with the current rules and the girl that plays Violet will probably win next year and that's a bigger travesty than EM winning lol.

I would say it's been about 3 years since I watched this story, but did you feel it was wrapped pretty quickly? I felt the Mexico saga dragged on, but the ending was just neat and tidy. John decided to be with Isabella and Roman and Marlena got back together within a few episodes. I always thought they didn't squeeze the drama out of it enough even with the kids. Sure, John still doesn't know who he is, but I always felt the ending didn't deal enough with the fallout of John being Roman for 4 years. Obviously, they pick those threads back up in a few years, but I remember being overall disappointed with the entire story.

Yeah, I may disagree with the fact she won the category because it was ridiculous she was against two 10 year old dayplayers, but she wasn't cheating. She was eligible in the age category and people on twitter calling her to withdraw her name was odd. Victoria Grace was the one who was ineligible, so why should Eden withdraw? I can't stand Joss obviously, but there isn't any real indication Eden McCoy is evil.

I am lol. It was always something I thought about through the years and the show ignored it. Like is there a Marlena clone living her best life in rural Iowa on a farm? Then Ron decided to bring it back up as a fact quite often. And they just killed one off, but where are the others?? Why isn't Marlena more concerned there are clones of her out there roaming the earth?

In slight defense of Eden she's probably not a bad person. She's just immature and didn't handle herself very well. It certainly didn't endear me to her or her character, but some of those people on twitter were trolling her pretty bad. Not that I disagreed with the sentiment and I did find her win unfair, but I wouldn't go seek the girl out and post on her social media. I would also assume her mom was quite ill at the time and Eden wasn't in the best headspace. This is the first and probably last time I will defend Eden lol.

Eden reminds me a lot of early Julie Marie Berman. I don't think Eden has JMB's range, but they both are kind of that smug character that you automatically dislike and yet they still have 10 guys always running after them. JMB figured out how to play Lulu as a likeable human. EM has not figured it out yet.

I agree that Nina as a character has run its course, but who would actually choose to have Carly as a mother? Lol. Fingers crossed Donna doesn't get shot. All her children have suffered immense trauma from her poor decisions. I like Carly, but Nina really hasn't done that much objectively wrong for people to shun her forever and ever.

Yes, Trina is a good person and wouldn't do that to her "friend" unfortunately. Again, I feel horrible for Eden McCoy and her current struggles, but did she take lessons for Laura Wright on being smug? She didn't get the Laura Wright memo on being likable as well. I honestly don't even mind Joss with CF. I feel like Trina is actually related to every black person on the canvas at this point too. Isn't she even related to TJ lol?

She's better than real Joss, but I feel bad saying that since Eden's going through a devastating loss in real life. I wanted Dex/Kristina too!

I mean, I might just pair Trina with Dex to screw with Josslyn. But not everyone dislikes Joss the way @AbcNbc247 and I do lol.

Thank you everyone for the extra info. As you all know I am like the worst person with spoilers and coming and goings lol. Who do you think they will pair Trina with in the future? Mo's son? A recast Cam?

Got it. I think I myself was confused about the timeline. I thought he was taking a break and coming back, but he would eventually leave at the end of his contract. I didn't know his break aligned with his contract being up.

Sorry, I should clarify my statement. I know Chavez is taking a break to film another project, but I am under the assumption he will leave permanently once his contract is up. Obviously, that isn't confirmed, but I can't imagine him re-upping for any length of time.

Works for me. Minus the Trina/Spencer kid of course lol. I still don't know what to do with Ace. I guess Esme just takes him when she leaves and she could come back whenever. Esme is not very well integrated into the cast. She interacts with quite a few people, but no one her own age except Spencer. If you take Spencer out of the equation where does she go? She has no friends, no potential love interest and a menial job at the paper. In theory she has tons of connections, but in actuality she really doesn't have much to do.

You know, I never even thought of it from a racist angle and that does make so much sense. I don't think AP and Chavez have tons of chemistry like I keep hearing. They work together just fine, but it's probably more of an anyone but Trina mentality. At the end of the day we all know Chavez is out and I don't see a place for Esme in an everyday setting. And of course, it's like 6 kids too many lol. Ace is very cute though.

I feel like the show has faked killed her several times and it hasn't stuck lol. Again, I think AP is very talented. I just don't see any future for her as a heroine. Just a villian that pops in from time to time. Honestly, she should take her kid and leave for now. I don't see Nik or Spencer raising Ace long term. I am pretty much just echoing @Vee's entire post.

Her name reminds me of Twilight. And I know that kid was named Renesmee but it's still annoying. I have an actual Uncle named Sonny, but I have never met an Esme.

I find Esme to be just an exhausting character. I think Avery Pohl is super talented and does a great job, but this girl has so much baggage. And I am not just talking about 30 pound Ace😂 She falls into the same category as Nelle to me (down to the hair) and she just needs to pop in and out or something. She's not a main character, IMO
