They had some nice scenes when all the Diana fall out happened although the show has completely dropped that thread. That was the last time I sympathized with Leo. John appears so rarely he doesn't have time to babysit Leo. I would actually be more annoyed if Drake wasted his 3 days a month on that lol.

The basic story is that Leo Stark is a name to distance himself from his abusive father (step?father). The show did explain it during the John might be his dad saga. I actually found Leo more likeable during that story. The basic concept of Leo as a witty side character or complete schemer is okay. You just can't have it both ways. He's inserted into every story for no reason, is a walking cliche, and weirdly is a horrible person we are supposed to feel bad for or something? The show is practically built around Leo and he is just an awful character that does bad things constantly but also has a woe is me attitude when he gets caught. Ugh......the worst.

I'll be honest at this point in time I see no reason for Kate to be on contract. She doesn't really add much to the current stories. That could change if Lucas/Rex/Phillip/any of her kids come back, but she really isn't doing much besides talking crap with Marlena. Do I think Roman/JT should be on contract instead? No, absolutely not, but I don't think there is a huge argument for Kate's current relevance.

Yup. There were quite a few great acting scenes which I appreciate. I guess the baby switch trope just isn't my fav topic, but the actors are bringing it. It's clear they can rise above the material. It's a shame some days the material is utter garbage lol. Days just has such up and downs. I want to call it a trash show and then it will go on a 2 or 3 episode run of solid tv and pulls me back in.

It's not real life and the baby is still alive and it will all work out, but I teared up a bit when Nicole said she did everything right and took all her vitamins. I am not particularly emotional or anything, but that was just so sad when EJ/Nicole were crying in the hospital bed. Dead babies are a soap staple, but it's just a depressing topic in general. I did chuckle at Eric being like do what you need to do Sloan, I am going to see my mom, so Marlena could make her 5 second appearance today lol.

At one point I think Kate owned it, so it may have had nothing to do with Titan, but I thought it was part of the Titan umbrella. They had that whole huge building with the Penthouse Grille unless they had a million magazines I imagine other stuff went on there. I don't really know. It's the type of story I can watch and forget 10 mins later lol.

I think when it was first introduced it was Titan Publishing or that was the branch the story was focusing on with Kate, Lucas, Austin, Carrie etc. Did Billie's cosmetic company fall under Titan? It probably had other divisions the entire time we just never knew what they were. Days is just the actual worst with any sort of business story. I don't find them interesting to begin with but other shows at least take them a bit more seriously and do research and try to keep it mildly coherent.

A John/Marlena episode does always make me happy. They may be super corny, but they still make me smile. Is MM already gone? She couldn't be in this episode too? I thought EOB was unusually bad as Theresa today. She's never been good, but today was a big yikes! I guess the accent is a problem because her line delivery is so breathy and weird. I honestly don't even know what she's going for as Theresa. @AbcNbc247is right. She does seem drunk lol.

That would have been a very large tree. I think there is a difference in putting, say, Austin or Shawn on it as opposed to Kristen/Theresa/Sloan etc. I can understand why they cut all the baby daddies and mommies out. I thought it was incredibly stupid as well. Everyone knows that's the worst thing to do. I thought I missed something too. We didn't hear what he said, but when Wendy said Li said Gabi I thought it cut out too early or I missed a scene. Guess not.

I think Li's murder will probably stick. I really don't see any reason to bring him back. He's barely connected to anyone on the canvas especially with the upcoming exits. I am interested in who killed him because he was so random and I don't even know who would care enough to kill him. I don't even believe Gabi cared enough to kill him lol

I find most teens on soaps talk in a way that doesn't sound real or natural. Valentin also doesn't treat her like a 15 year old. More like an 8 year old. Given Charlotte's bizarre upbringing and lack of mother I can see how she was easily influenced. I just don't know why Valentin thought one session with Kevin would cure the fact that she's burning down houses and trashing hotel rooms. That's not your usual teen angst. I agree about her upbringing and life, but she was clearly let down by several adults in her life with this.

True. Rolf and Megan are the only people that make sense. I haven't looked at spoilers so that's just speculation on my part. For all I know it could have been Trask somehow lol. VG did surprisingly well with the crying scenes. The anger/revenge stuff might be a bit out of her acting wheelhouse though.

I totally understand Charlotte being screwed up considering everything, but that was astoundingly bad parenting. In fact, no parent would act like that IMO. I am side eyeing Laura here too, but not as much as Valentin. What an awful thing to do to Anna! And he has the nerve to be outraged at Anna when it predictably blew up in his face

So I generally hate Valentin. I am probably not super objective, but his anger at Anna seems very intense considering it was an accident and he could have stopped this whole thing by dealing with his daughter properly. Or giving Anna a heads up. I know it's only been an episode and he's worried about his daughter. I just think Valentin is nearly as at fault as Anna.

I thought Victoria Grace did well yesterday and okay today. It is nice to see her doing something. She does better with the tears than the anger. I think CB did really good today too. I just have no sympathy for Gabi. The EJ stuff is ridiculous, but it is soapy. Who did kill Li? Rolf? Megan? He barely even knows anyone in town.
